   The service was excellent and each course throughout the meal was better than the previous one. Presentation, taste and quantity were all spot on.

   A wonderful dinner start to finish. We initially had a small group of 4 that steadily grew to 19 over the course of the week, and the folks could not have been more welcoming or accommodating from start to finish. The hostess greeted one in our party with an offer to stow her suitcase (“no problem!”) and the wait staff was informative, attentive, and lovely. We ordered a lot of food — literally every dish was delicious. Thank you for everything!

   Our experience at Kellari was excellent. We will definitely be back. Service was top notch ; food was excellent and well prepared; and you cannot beat the atmosphere. We will highly recommend Kellari to good friends and family. Thank you, Joe Fuschillo 516-448-5589

   Three of us had dinner. Pretty ambiance, attentive service, great food. Lots of fish and vegetarian dishes I. Additional to traditional Greek like moussaka. We will be back!

   Kellari has been my go-to lunch spot for ages, but recently the food portion and presentation was really underwhelming. I would always get the Greek Salad with chicken added (which is like $26 before tip) and when I went to eat today it was basically 6 tomatoe chunks, a few strands of red onion and 4 olives. It was missing the big chunky peppers, crisp cumcumbers and greens that usually come with it. The feta and chicken were good, but I was disappointed to order a salad and basically get chicken and cheese instead. Hoping it was just a one-off and improves, because was definitely not worth the money on this go around.

   The appetizers started off promising. We had oysters, arugula with tomatoes, and halloumi. While the flavors were decent, the halloumi was a bit dry, which, unfortunately, set the tone for the rest of the meal. The mains followed suit, continuing the unfortunate theme of dryness. I ordered the chef’s special of the day: pan-seared branzino with gnocchi. The gnocchi was so overcooked that it had visible burn marks from the pan, poorly masked by a heavy red sauce—essentially tiny hockey pucks. My dining companion had the lobster linguine, and the pasta was also disappointingly dry and hard; not al dente, just poorly executed. It was, without a doubt, one of the worst meals I’ve had in a while. To her credit, our waitress made an effort to salvage the experience by having some sautéed vegetables prepared to replace the gnocchi, and they were actually quite good. She even made a point to mention that the asparagus, zucchini, and spinach weren’t on the menu though considering that the gnocchi was on the menu and was so poorly executed, that explanation only added insult to injury.

    This is a perfect Nyc restaurant, convenient to Grand Central, theatre and shopping. The service was attentive snd the food fresh and delish.
