Waited for 20 minutes for our server who then didn’t know the fish of the day. There were many staff standing around and the restaurant was empty. Decided to leave before ordering as the service was so poor.

Best Greek food everyone at our table had ever had. The Kellari chips, Greek Salad, Lavraki, and Tzatziki were the standouts. I think the only thing we didn't love was the clove flavor of the Baklava.

The four of us who dined and are familiar with Greek food had a wonderful evening. The decor is lovely, noise level low, and service great. Our server, Lefteri, recommended a bottle of Ktima Dropi Agorigitiko, which was a wonderful choice. We tried the Kellari chips which are thinly sliced eggplant and zucchini slices deep fried served with tzatziki. Very tasty. We all did the price fixed dinner and started with either the avgolemono or mushroom soup. Both great. Next came lamb chops and lamb shanks; both were large portions and quite good. We finished with galaktoboureko, chocolate lava cake or yogurt cake. All in all, a wonderful restaurant for a night of really superior Greek food. Highly recommend.

Food was superb. We had the grilled kalamari and grilled octopus to start. Both were tender, tasty. Youvetsi, kotopoulo, sea bass and lavraki for our mains. The chicken breast was a wee bit dry. Fish was beyond excellent. Consistently simple, good Greek food. Would appreciate an additional non-sea food appetizer… keftedes or loukanika. Can’t beat the location

I requested under my reservation comment area that I would like a quiet table. When I arrived, it turned out that they had a large party plus a live band. They offered to move us, but we would have been next to a busy bar, or the front door with people coming in and out and the noise from the band would have been heard everywhere anyway. We are all seniors …70’s& 80’s. They were very nice, but it was an impossible situation for us. I mentioned to the hostess that I requested a quiet table and she said she saw it. I think we should have been contacted ahead of time because we would have changed our reservation. I had parked my car and already committed to a parking expense. We left and walked to a different restaurant nearby for dinner. It was a disappointment.

I live in Atlanta and love Greek food especially at Kyma where Chef Pano is amazing so I felt at home with the great Greek food here! The do spinach, charcoal Calamari and the Mediterranean Sea Bass were 🔥Eleftherio was a great hostess.

outside table so had usual expected street noise. Most of us did fixed price lunch. We all very much enjoyed our food. Made 11:30 reservations, knowing for 9 people it would be slower than for 4. Had 2 PM theater tickets. They weren't ready for us when we got there @11:28. Took at least 5 minutes. Service was SLOW. We think they didn't have enough waiters for all the outside tables. We were all the way at end, 2 storefronts down. Despite requests, even after 15 minutes water glasses not refilled. (I actually finished my personal water bottle since glass was empty for so long!) 45 minutes prior to our having to leave we were served. Order was missed for someone who hadn't ordered the fixed price. When that meal was served 10-15 minutes later we informed the waiter that we needed to leave in 30 minutes and asked for check and dessert. 5 minutes before we wanted to leave we got desserts and check. When CC handed over, again said we were at risk of being late. CC was not processed immediately--had to wait again. We ran to the theater, difficult for a bunch of older women, were last ones into a show that didn't allow late arrivals. Had 2-3 minutes before curtain. Extremely frustrating.

I really liked the food. We had an amazing wine recommendation from Michael. The service was friendly and great. We had the Mediterranean Sea bass, the Greek salad, the mushroom ravioli and an amazing dessert. I cannot remember what the name of it but it was so good!

From the moment we walked in we knew we were gonna have a good time , the hostess very friendly and accommodating she gave us a nice table in the back where it was cooler . We told our server that we had Very little time to eat because we had to to go to a show And he promptly got our food We ordered the chicken skewers with a Gorgeous Greek salad The Greek salad so fresh u can see by the bright colors of the tomatoes and cucumbers , our chicken skewers cooked to perfection the chicken was tender and delicious , just when we thought we were done our server Luis convinced us to have dessert he suggested the baklava with a light cappuccino . Everything was amazing we will definitely go back next week to try the rest of the menu

Our first time on June 20th was a great experience so we decided to go a second time. The waiter was unfriendly and unprofessional. He put the cutlery from the starters onto the table that we had to use it for the main courses as well. Our seating was uncomfortable and the chefs special starter Tuna tartare was not available. So sad…..

This was our first time at this restaurant, we were there for lunch. There were only two us at a small table. It was incredibly loud to the point where we could barely hear other. The service was "extremely slow". It took almost 45 minutes just to get the appetizer, then, well over a half hour after that, to get the main course. After a few complaints to the manager, explaining to her that we had to get back to the office, our main course arrived. She came by to apologize for the delays, explaining that they were short staffed. She comped our meal, which was a very nice gesture and much appreciated. Even though they did the right thing, I'm not sure that we would ever go back.

We have been here in December 2021 and it was magical. We sat inside and the staff was very attentive and the food excellent. This time not so much. Perhaps it was because we were outside, but the staff was not as attentive, despite being not very busy. This time the food was OK. The seafood grill was mostly overcooked. The grilled vegetables were quite good. The bread was excellent. The cappuccino was lukewarm. I will give this restaurant another try while in NYC and hope it will be like my first visit with this last visit being an anomaly. If this had been my first visit I would not go back, sorry to say

My wife and I were in the city for one night. We love Greek food having spent some time traveling the country. The food at Kellari was authentic. We highly recommend the octopus appetizer. The service was impeccable.

Been going to Kellari since 2008….sorry to say that it isn’t operating as it used to. Understandably prices have risen but portions for appetizers, salads, and sides have extremely diminished…half the feta on the Greek salad, side of roasted vegetables was small And mostly green peppers, kellari chip portion was small for $24….so many better values for Mediterranean dining in the city.

Prices are up alot from a few yrsd ago. The portions were not large. As seniors, we could not hear overselves over the music.
