Very good steak and wine selection, a restaurant with old school character and tables a little close if I were to be critical about anything. Overall high quality on each course and recommended if you like top end steak restaurants.

We went for an anniversary meal on a friend’s recommendation. The waitress was lovely and presented us with two complimentary glasses of champagne as it was a special occasion. The food was excellent through all three courses. The steaks unless stated by weight where generally huge and one steak could easily feed two tourists with a bowl of fires the same. It’s housed in an old New York members club, where each member had their own individual smoking pipe which still hangs from the ceiling. On the whole a great experience and if you are after good steak I would highly recommend.

Omg people don't even mess around looking through the menu! Just get yourself a mutton chop and trust me, you will never taste anything like it again ...you will never see steak the same way again. Even if you don't like the taste of lamb....(i was never a fan)....but let me tell you, I'm still drooling just thinking about it! Super tender, both cuts on it are amazing. Taste was so mild and the mint jelly was a perfect pairing. Even the greens that came with it complimented it so well. Ordered it medium cooked. Both my hubs and i shared. i had ordered a sirloin that was also super tender and juicy but once i tasted the button i completely forgot about my steak and left most of it there. It's worth every penny and two people could easily share it.

This is a really cool historical place to eat. The pipes date back to the 1880's. The steak was really good. The lobster bisque had large chunks in it.

I don't think I have ever seen servings of meat this large in any restaurant I have ever eaten in and that is saying a lot. If you're a carnivore, you will love this place.
