Good food nice ambience
In Key Biscayne for a meeting and from out of town so my wife and I wanted Spanish tapas. The menu is pretty limited in regards to tapas but they had other dishes. Wait staff were attentive. Food was okay. The risotto was very salty.
we are in Key Biscaine passing through on vacation. we found the restaurant on OpenTable. good food, great service (our waiter whose name I can't remember, from Colombia) very welcoming atmosphere. excellent quality price ratio
This restaurant usually has very good food along with the ambiance. Our dinner on August 1st did not give us satisfaction. The waiter was pleasant, but did not seem to know the menu well and insisted n interrupting our dinner to find out if everything was ok. It took forever to get my ice tea, and we felt the meal was awkwardly presented even though the restaurant was mostly empty. The place needs adult supervision which was not present on Thursday.
My seafood with rice meal also did not seem put together right although tasted ok.
Food generally OK but little details detract from the experience. Bread has to be ordered, it is tiny and there is a charge each time. More than abundance, there is a stingy attitude towards serving the customers. Poor value!
Our with friends
Our server described the Ribeye and Strip Steaks, which are the house specialty, as being "gamey" which I mistook as being more flavorful than typical steaks. In fact both were very tough. The side dishes and appetizers were good, but avoid the steaks.
This restaurant is awesome! It would be great if it wasn’t so hidden. Everything else was perfect.
Kibo offer such a wonderful selection of top us as well as main courses. There’s fish is so fresh, I would go there almost every night!
Great food and service. Had a reservation on open table (made last minutes but accepted and confirmed) and when we arrived at the restaurant were told by one of the waiters they couldn’t honor it because of a large private party. However, after speaking with the owner who was very gracious and accommodating, we were seated and had very god service. We ordered gazpacho which was excellent, very different than usual. The soup was pureed, light and had finely chopped peppers and onions with croutons. Our entre grilled sea bream with sautéed spinach done perfectly. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Will be my first stop when going back to Key Biscayne.
Delicious chorizos, salad, merluza and the wine that the waiters recommended was excellent and reasonable.. The restaurant is lovely and very comfortable.
Wonderful service and food. Love the grilled vegetables.
While food was pretty good, the menu posted on Open Table lists paella options. They do not have paella on the menu, only risotto like rice dishes.. While good, we went to the restaurant for traditional paella so were disappointed.
Second time we had dinner at this gem on Key Biscayne . First time was a year ago when we were here and it was just as wonderful! Food is so good and lots of wines to choose from. Service was wonderful and just all around amazing!
Our favorite place on the street island
From the moment we arrived at Kebo we were warmly greeted. Our waiter Hermann (from Spain) was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable about the Spanish wines and answered all our questions regarding the menu.
We were 6 people, we opted for an array of Tapas ....he helped us organize our choices and their timing.
The main dishes were wonderful....do not hesitate to order the Fried Yellowtail, the presentation is not to be believed ! It was enough for 2 .....Totally will go back and bring more friends and family, this place is a gem.
The gazpacho here is amazing, get the bowl not the cup, you won’t regret it. Wine selection is good. Just remember it’s tapas so don’t go too hungry or you’ll walk out with a 300+ bill, it’s a bit pricey. Food and service are excellent. Would return.
We'd call this a 'must' if you're going to Key Biscayne, but think it's also worth the short trip out here from Miami if you enjoy Spanish cuisine. They've got a great menu that let's you choose the tapas, small-plate route or some great entrees, and we found the fish choices especially good. Service is top notch, with the wait staff attentive and really seeming to enjoy their job. We chose to eat inside, close to the kitchen, which was attractive and made conversation easy; they also have 'outside' seating which is actually the atrium of a shopping center. Free parking in back.
Food was mediocre at best. Fellow diner's Lamb dish had little meat to it, and my fish dish was very bland, with many bones in it. Our waiter was good, however, and took the lamb dish off of the bill. He also made a nice wine recommendation. I won't be going back.
Valentine’s Day is a tough night! Never saw the place so busy! Service was slow but the foods good.
The service was excellent! The food magnificent!
There were 4 of us and we shared a large grouper along with a couple of sides. We had 2 bottles of good inexpensive red wine.
Outstanding menu with a broad variety of tapas and complete dishes. We lived in Spain for two years in the early 1980's, and we have not had a better and more authentic Spanish meal since we were there! Great staff and family atmosphere - we loved it!
Lovely, creative meal.
Excellent eggplant cake appetizer.
Service was attentive but not overwhelming. Peaceful outdoor seating with white linen tablecloths.
The service was excellent. The fried cauliflower and sea bass were excellent as well as the mixed vegetables. The seafood ad rice was good but the amount of seafood was insufficient for the price. Excellent rice pudding!
I live on Key Biscayne & Kebo is our favorite. The choices are amazing so I don't have a problem going once a week! Fine preparation of excellent Spanish food. GO!!
They were quite rushed waiting for the big new year eve crowd. Food was good but service and ambient were rather poor
This was about the 5th time we've eaten at KeBo. It is always a gem, tucked away on Key Biscayne, where it is by far the best restaurant. Service remains excellent. Menu always offers items that one doesn't see everywhere else. Will continue to dine at KeBo. So glad it keeps up the extra high quality.
Great Service and delicious food.. Wine list a bit pricey though
Outstanding food with great variety of choices. Excellent service as well.
We have been here a few times and always great food and service to match
Ambience and service were pleasant enough but the tapas and entrees were completely unmemorable and overpriced. Many better and cheaper options nearby.
Wonderful sushi on a date with my wife in the island paradise that is Key Biscayne.
