Beautiful location for excellent waterfront dining! Food and service were both wonderful! Can’t wait to go back!
Service is great but food is mediocre
Mother’s Day dinner for 6 of us. When we arrived and were seated the first thing I noticed was a lot of dirty tables from the brunch that had just ended. The restaurant didn’t seem fully ready to be seating for dinner. Overall the food was good but not great. Service was good but 5 out of 6 of us went with the dinner buffet. Then we get our bill and see that 20% gratuity was added on. I understand that we were a party of 6 but that seemed excessive considering that it was primarily buffet.
Amazing experience. The food and atmosphere was very nice. My company also enjoyed the experience.
Great Outdoor Dining Experience! We were dining to celebrate Mothers' Day and had a great first-time experience. We dined outside and had a great view of Penns' Landing. We enjoyed sitting outside in the sunshine while people-watching. Our hostess and waitstaff was professional and attentive. Our meal was good and well-portioned. The Red Sangria was quite yummy. The restaurant was busy but not crowded.
We're Philadelphians and never heard the restaurant. It's located in the Hilton Hotel on Penns' Landing. We just happened to do a google-search on Philly restaurants with a view and this came up. We will certainly return and spread the word. For those not familiar with the area, you can find on-street parking on the other side of Delaware Avenue (aka Columbus Blvd).
Wonderful place, scenic view at waterfront, great food and service
Great view and food
Very few menu options, and very expensive. We had to return the soup to be reheated.

Fantastic food. We started with calamari..simply delicious. Farmers Salad. So big I had to share with my husband. finished with the salmon dish. So good. Husband had the fried fish. Very large portion. Great vibe, attentive server. A+

Not your typical hotel restaurant. We were politely greeted by Brittany. The service, from start to finish, was excellent. Request Andy as your server. He delivered service at a five-star level.
A nice variety of menu options to choose from. The quality of food was outstanding.

Keating’s was a very nice place to dine. Food was fabulous, especially the crab cakes (all crab and only a bit of fillers), and the shrimp and scallops over squid ink pasta. Fine service.
Great views of the water. Nice bar for before or after dinner drinks.

The restaurant was beautiful and the service was excellent. We really enjoyed the Buffalo Cauliflower. The waiter was very attentive with not being over bearing. Looking forward to going back. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Food only average. Staff very nice. No ambiance. Tables close together

Located in the Hilton Hotel. Seemed more like a hotel restaurant than a stand alone. Menu was limited. Would have liked lunch menu items added to dinner menu.

I stumbled upon this restaurant while searching for places to treat my hubby for his birthday. The value with Travelzoo was great but the service and night was excellent. My hubby loved it. Everyone was so friendly and once they found out it was his birthday, they helped me with making his night memorable. Our waiter Hassan was the best, he catered to us with such finesse and professionalism. The food & atmosphere was amazing. Definitely two (2) thumbs up!!

Went to Keating's for Valentine's Day dinner and had a wonderful experience. Service was attentive and professional, there was both a prix fixe and regular menu available, and the view of the Delaware River from our table was an added plus.
Each course offered a variety of choices, with more than adequate serving sizes (we shared the calamari appetizer), and food was prepared perfectly.
This was our second visit to Keating's, the last one being for lunch, and we have been impressed both times with the quality of food and great service in a relaxed dining room with a great view.
We'll be back again!
Staff were exceptional. They treated the birthday boy fantastically. Thank you again!
5 of us had dinner to celebrate a 50th birthday. We ranged from age 18 to 71 and we all enjoyed the location as well as 3 apps we sampled and 5 different main dishes. Our waiter, Andrew, was very helpful with menu suggestions and answering our questions.
Thank you for a enjoyable experience!!

I went to New Years Eve with my son to have a good time and enjoy the fireworks on Penn’s Landing. The restaurant is beautiful, however the hot food was cold, I saw a waiter returning a ceasar salad to the station after someone didn’t eat what is unacceptable in all restaurant for sanitary conditions. No one food was really good, I went for many different New Years Celebrations including to watch the fireworks in Copacabana (Rio de Janeiro) and the food was really exceptional.
The music was really aloud and no one song was for a New Years occasion, impossible to talk.
The service was less than ok, we were in a small table for 2 and it was an eternity to remove the plates. We were eating the deserts with plates piled.
To order something was another eternity as the same to pay.
Finally, the fireworks, the view is not so good we can see the fireworks in the sky but not entire scene due the location, what’s not the restaurants fault but is another point to consider.
Honestly I read similar reviews here but I decided to go since my son is 18 and it’s not easy to find events that he can go (minor 21).
We left really disappointed, I expected at least a medium event in general but neither this we had.
$200 for a buffet?
No meat, lukewarm items.
Half empty...major disappointment. NEVER again.
Fool me once, shame on me...fool me twice?
Way over-priced for NYE and for what was offered. Might be good otherwise but it will not be a NYE destination ever again. Server was very attentive and did a nice job.
This is my 3rd year going to Keating’s on New Years Eve. We had friends join us this year & I was embarrassed that they (and we) paid so much for so little. No music or festivities of any kind (unlike the last 2 years). Food & service was sub par. I will not be returning next NYE. We spent $250 on buffet dinner for 4 + cash bar & it was definitely not worth it! I think the party I invited is upset b/c it was a huge waste of $$
Hasan, our waiter, was great. He recommended some amazing dishes. The ambiance was great as well.
The waiter was amazing. The food was delicious, the filet mignon melts in your mouth. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening celebrating a birthday.
My group of Golden Girls went for breakfast to celebrate our Christmas exchange and all the girls were so happy with my choice of restaurant - good food and great staff. We are in the process planning another get together at Keating’s Rope n Anchor.
Nowhere on the website does it say this is a hotel restaurant. It felt like a large diner with bright lights, not romantic or intimate at all.
We enjoyed the Thanksgiving brunch. There was a nice selection of food. We will return.
We were staying in the hotel and needed something easy with our five year old.
The food was good(next great but good). The server was attentive and wanted to please us and make it easy with my daughter. The decor seems new and was bright and comfortable with big tables.
Didn’t say real clear it was in the Hilton hotel. And parking was 10$.
Food was really good; ambience could be better. Felt rushed by our waiter, which was unfortunate as everything else was great.
Great way to relax after a long day. Views are awesome and service was spot on.
My husband and I ate at Keating’s for the first time and will not be going back!! After ordering our food we waited for what felt like forever and when our food finally came they brought our entree’s first, then our salad and then our appetizer....crazy!! The food was room temp at best and wasn’t anything to rave over. We were seated outside on the deck which was nice because of the view of the water etc. Keating’s needs to step up its game with all the fabulous local eateries flooding the area!!!
The food was mediocre at best. The decor was nice but the carpet was dirty.
Nice place to watch fireworks Food was good. Only complaint was that there were signs everywhere for Hilton Awards when you spend a certain amount for food. Wait staff directed me to front desk only to find out the deal had expired.
location great and very nice restaurant but food was very sub-par. guacamole was pre-made and not fresh and suspect the burger was frozen and lacked any flavor. Overall the food was under seasoned and not very good.
Good breakfast buffet with excellent omelettes and pretty good coffee. Nice views of the river and Camden waterfront. Great place for breakfast if you are staying at the hotel. Sunday morning breakfast was pretty crowded so a reservation is a good idea.
We had an amazing food experience just prior to a night out!
I had the shrimp tacos...the menu description was better than the actual meal. I was expecting fresh shrimp at least, no I got frozen breaded shrimp out of a bag. My wife's flathead was horrible and she couldn't finish it. The waitress was in a bad mood and believe you me the tip reflected it.
