KC American Bistro- Estero
Excellent food, excellent service. I have enjoyed three different occasions there. The only downside is that when the room fills up it gets too noisy to hear conversation.
Excellent all around. Greeted promptly and efficiently. Food was delicious and presented beautifully. Really enjoyed the black grouper. Nice bright atmosphere with comfortable booths. Noise level was low. Decor was a bit commercial looking but still nice. Service was excellent. Look forward to a return visit.
Everything, service, food quality, etc., pleased me very much. However, noise, from conversations reverberating off walls, etc., made it difficult to carry on a conversation with my partner.
This Valentine Day dinner at KC Bistro was excellent in food and service. Even though the restaurant was jammed, the food was delivered promptly, all of our dishes were delicious and our server was pleasant and gave us a wonderful experience.
We sat outside and loved the live music in the plaza while we dined on amazing food. The owner came out to check on us personally. Food was great - especially the grouper entree.
We had the perfect evening celebrating our Friend’s 40th anniversary. Service was superb from the onset. Our meals were excellent ranging from luscious proseutto wrapped dates, perfect pork chops to delightful Bronzino. Stacey, our server deserves 10 stars! Attentive, outgoing, personable, professional and aware of our needs. Along with the outstanding food, Stacey helped make the night special.
First time at this restaurant . We thoroughly enjoyed dinner and their service and the restaurant manager showing personal interest
First time to try KC American Bistro. Food was very good, particularly the mushroom soup - outstanding. Noise was moderate, but on a very busy evening it could be a bit much. All things considered it was really very nice and a much needed (fine dining) addition to the local restaurant scene.
My first experience at the bistro was fantastic, so I was excited to go back. However my second visit was disappointing because food was delivered cold. And there were no specials for the evening.
Noisey, would recommend noise reduction suspended sound absorbers. Ceiling is currently metal deck, sound/noise bounces back!
Parking is difficult, you should have a back entrance & Exit, especially for handicapped or older clients.
Yes. However, the serving sizes were much smaller then when we visited 6 months ago.
Didn’t like how the beets were ground up and put on the salad.
Need to do something about the noise level.
Kept reservation on time.
Did not provide the booth asked for.
Great presentation and quality of food served.
Excellent service provided.
Parking an issue.
needs sound proofing way to loud curtains and such
Family was here for vacation and we tried this on a wed evening. Dinners were good - especially the salmon, duck, and the mussels. Branzino was good but a little overcooked. Service was great. However a lovely evening was ruined by all the noise! Sounds seemed to bounce off the walls — to the point we could not even carry on a conversation. What a shame. Some noise muffling additions would be more than welcomed.
My new favorite, minutes to my house, great service (Jude is amazing). Owner makes you feel like he has know you forever and the quality of the food is outstanding.
Great meal and good service. Always enjoy an evening here, just note that some sodas such as coke do not have free refills - somewhat of a surprise!
Food and drinks are phenomenal. Nice addition to this area
One of the best meals I’ve had in our area.
The meat had a lot of flavour but the soup wasn’t hot. The kale salad was bland and the beet salad was supposed to be red and gold beets but it was only gold
The ambiance was great, the food was very good with the exception of the lamb which was ordered medium and was very well done. While our server was very nice, the service was slow. We were there for nearly an hour and a half before we got our food. The room is noisy, some mitigation ould help. We will be back. We feel these are kinks that will be worked out.
Finally a local restaurant that brings NY cuisine closer to Fort Myers without a drive to Naples; a little more attention to the dessert menu would fill out their overall performance given the otherwise exquisite menu; better lighting at the tables would improve the ambiance - most of the tables are simply too dark; finally, I have been there twice since December and the menu has remained unchanged although there was one special for the evening; more breadth would also be helpful for repeat visitors
Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at KC BISTRO. The food was excellent and the service was attentive at just the right level. A good place for foodies and those who want to be able to hear their table mates!
Way too expensive for a strip mall across from college dorms, shave ice & a gym. Food was good, but not great & if I’m going to spend $250 (including tip), I expect it to be great. We dine in downtown Naples once a week, don’t spend nearly that much (unless it’s Sails, which is Phenomenal!) and have better food. Plus the diners coming in are wearing flip flops, shorts, baseball caps (must be the college Professor crowd!)-the menu during restaurant week in December was much better.
Party of 4 on Monday at 7 pm. Seated immediately, 3 staff checked on us throughout the evening, excellent service, food presentation/flavor fabulous. Beet salad with goat cheese was excellent; mushroom bisque perfect; freshly baked warm bread was delightful; short rib over mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts was best ever; glazed pork chop perfectly cooked as requested to medium was massively good; salmon entree was devoured; creme brulee with a surprise orange scent was yummy; pineapple upside down cake with vanilla ice cream was perfectly moist with a crispy sugar finish. 4 meals with no errors or complaints! A rare gem of a restaurant! Looking forward to a repeat performance!
We loved the vibe at this restaurant. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The menu looked wonderful, and the food was attractive and delicious. Loved the beet and goat cheese salad. The pork and the grouper were delicious but a tiny bit overcooked. We will go back.
Great food and wonderful service!!!
Beautifully presented items. Food quality is very good. Service is very good. We regularly visit the restaurant. The only detriment is the lack of parking close to the door for those with physical limitations. They are aware of this but the layout of the area kind of prohibits any rectification of the issue.
Fabulous, Food, Service and Atmosphere. This restaurant ranks up with some of NY's finest restaurants. Unique menu, great wine list and beautiful atmosphere. I believe they are adding entertainment on the weekends. Check their website.
A wonderful dinner with attentive staff and delicious food. The presentation and taste of the cuisine never fails to exceed expectations!
Every member of the KC American Bistro team goes out of his/her way to ensure a wonderful experience at their restaurant, from the greeter/hostess at the front door to the manager, owner, chef and server, they all take an interest in your visit. The food is outstanding, Saturday evening, the "Dynamite Ahi Tartar" was fresh and delicious and custom made to accommodate my gluten free needs. My husband loves the"Romaine BLT Salad" and our guests raved about the "Hawaiian BBQ Ribs." My favorite entree is the "Pumpkin Seed Encrusted Wild Salmon, hard to find wild salmon, which was cooked to perfection, and the accompanying sweet potato gratin was amazing. The Branzino, "Slow Braised Short Ribs and Hoisin Glaze" and the "Fire Roasted Kurobuta Pork cChop" are always a huge hit. KC Bisto never disappoints, it's our 'home away from home."
Parking at this location is a nightmare. Noise at this restaurant is the worst ever!
Lovely evening - great food, great service.
Excellent wait staff. Deliciously prepared food. I have tried almost every entrée and all were prepared creatively. KC American Bistro serves the freshest and best quality ahi tuna I have ever eaten.
The Estero location is very convenient whether we are traveling from Naples or Fort Myers. It has become our "go to" restaurant.
Terrific food (Bronzino and the Salmon) and great waiter (Dallas). Same menu as the Naples location and better ambiance. Definitely a favorite!
The food was absolutely wonderful. Everyone in our party of 7 loved their dinner. There were a number of servers present - a factor that was both good and bad.
The food came out quickly, fresh and at the appropriate temperatures. But, upon serving, the servers were confused about which dinner went to which diner - leaving it to the guests to sort out.
One guest had to ask for their drink FOUR TIMES. Another guest had to ask for bread THREE TIMES. It seemed as though with so many servers a lot was lost in their communication with each other.
We ordered two bottles of a particular year of a nice wine. Two different years were brought and opened before we could return the wrong year.
The final irritation was that we were supposed to have 20% off our bill - but we all noticed after we returned home that we had not received the 20% as advertised.
Again - the food was truly EXCELLENT. All 7 of us would definitely return. However, these problems were inexcusable for a fine dining restaurant with such moderate to high pricing.
Great experience. Service was impeccable, every morsel of food was absolutely delicious. We will become regulars here.
It was our first time at this restaurant but it won’t be the last. The decor is lovely, the service spot on and the food is not only a work of art but outstanding as well. You won’t be disappointed here.
I’ve been several times and always had a great experience
