What a beautiful meal. Take your time. Savor each and every morsel. The walu, smoked monkfish liver pate, salmon belly small plate were favorites.

Kaz consistently maintains high standards. Its sushi is excellent and the fish always fresh. We love to sit at the sushi bar and watch the chefs create innovative dishes.

It was very quiet when i arrived at 9pm (on a Saturday). The host/manager announced he was about to close for the night soon, as it was a slow night. Staff was friendly, but I didn't like the fact i was being rushed out. The food was good, but it did put a damper on my experience. I expected a more high-end establishment based on ratings

Kaz Sushi Bistro is probably the best and most creative high end sushi restaurant in the greater Washington DC region. The chef's choices were spectacular with good variety and wonderful combinations of flavors. The chef came to the table to discuss specific food allergies to make sure our individual needs were met. Dinner at Kaz Sushi Bistro was an extraordinary experience. We will be back!

Too pricey for the food served. Ordered a Bento, a sushi platter, o toro, two makis and two other side dished costed me almost $200. Wrong choice for celebration.

We were visiting DC and remembered our previous dinning experience a year before. My husband and I had to make this one of first dinning stops. Recommended it to family and friends visiting DC. (We are from Long Island, NY)

Kaz was great as usual. The fish is extremely fresh, the staff is wonderful & they have a terrific Sake menu. Try to sit at the Sushi Bar so you can watch the guys make all the food.
