This food was delicious. I don’t understand the review of the great ambience, the space feels cold, dark but not in a romantic way, more like a warehouse trying to be an upscale local. Would I return? No…not enough for me.

Food is excellent. Wagyu “tostadas” but are really tacos, lobster pasta, bread pudding were the top of the game. Spicy tuna crispy rice solid. Chilean sea bass “al pastor” was excellent but a tiny bit sauce heavy for me. Excellent spicy crab hand roll. The space is very very dark. Was not busy at all. Deserves to be busier. No valet but public parking 20 feet away.

Super sexy date night experience… Food was amazing! Upon arrival, the owner greeted us …very humble and nice gentleman. This restaurant is elevated and food preparation is superb!!! Started off the night with the blood orange tea aloe cocktail, and it was handcrafted to perfection. For the main course the white fish ceviche…. This is a must !!! Fresh notes of cilantro, lime, and ginger, were very invigorating. In addition we also ordered specialty sushi rolls, the rock shrimp tempura, and waygu caviar roll which were also delightful. Lastly, the fresh fruit peach with crème fraîche and raspberry was a great ending. Located in the arts district establishment attracts trendy locals, such as myself that want to dine on an upscale level. I have been here on another nights where there were dancers performing during our dinner which was very enjoyable. Vibes are on point! Looking forward to future reservations with great company and great food.

Highly recommend this place! My girlfriends and I loved the sushi. Everything was extremely fresh and prepared to perfection. The atmosphere and decor was very sexy. Just a cool vibe. Loved the music and the drinks.

Went hear for a birthday. The food was amazing, everything is so fresh. The ambiance is perfect, more dimmed lighting. Perfect for a date or a birthday. I highly recommend place is 10/10. Staff is super friendly. It’s a must try.

Took my girl here for our last dinner together…never been here before either. She loved it. The staff were incredible. They comped a lot of food, the service was insane quick, probably the best overall romantic restaurant experience I’ve had in DTLA overall. Highly highly recommend

We went for Mother's day. The sushi and sashmi are good, but the hot dishes did not match our expectation. The order for food coming is a little bit weirs for me, they bring us edamame when we are in the middle of our hot dishes. And not to mention they bring us wrong items two times. We ordered 3 set of Mother's day's dinner, but somehow they put those 3 in one plate which comes out to be 2 pieces of seabass, a kid size of uni pasta did not have uni. The server did bring us a full size uni pasta after we are wondering. The server makes everything more confused. He explained to us the bake salmon roll is not spicy at all and we try to give that to the child. But it turns out all covered with spicy sauce, luckily we try first. And he also told us that we got all our dishes when we still missing like 1/3 of our orders. Addtional, the environment is a little bit too dark for us.

We went back one week after our first visit to celebrate my husband’s Bday! Our fantastic server Clay was there again❣️ Once again we did Dine LA because it was such a great experience full of delicious dishes 😋. We are extremely picky people and have no problems complaining when something is wrong but at this restaurant the only thing was off is overpriced kids pasta which they totally fixed so even that is perfect now. Can’t wait to be back again, You guys are awesome 👏 keep it going

We loved our Dine LA experience! The food and our server Clay were absolutely fantastic! However we understand that many places downtown LA are not the most kid’s friendly, and we appreciate they tried to accommodate our kid, but spaghetti with butter should not be $29 when their amazing duck dish is $30, that’s our only complaint, otherwise we loved it and definitely we will be back!

Exterior feels like you’re waiting to go to a club. Restaurant is very dark, felt like an expanded version of a bar. Music was not too loud so you can still have a conversation. We were served by Kai was just the right amount of attentive. Unfortunately, the food was average, especially if you factor in the price of items. There’s more focus on the presentation than flavor. The addition of edible gold ultimately did little for the lackluster flavor.

Have some tips for interior. But I’m picky. Call me. Seemed to exploit basic Japanese culture stereotypes and exploiting vs authentic. (girls dancing in outfits…fire???) Bomb sushi but very “old money” vibe. Caviar and gold is on everything… very LA and unneeded. Service was amazing and I would kiss the cook.

Celebrated my bestie’s 40th birthday. The ambience was great and it was fitting as she had lived in Japan for some time. Sushi’s our favorite so it was a no brainer to try out Kaviar. Service was excellent and the food was delicious there wasn’t one thing we didn’t like and we ordered an obscene amount of dishes.

Nicely decorated, which is why i gave it a 2. Music was way too loud, we had to yell to hear the person next to us. Same songs from the 90's were on replay. Weird dancers, totally extra and unnecessary for a sushi restaurant. The sushi was below average. Our waiter was lousy and rude. On top of it there was a $150 charge on our bill for a steak we never ordered. So glad we checked our bill before paying. Never going there again.

When traveling to LA we chose one sushi restaurant. We couldn't have made a better selection than KAVIAR. The only drawback was no valet parking. The inside of this restaurant is incredible. Our waiter was excellent and helped us make good decisions from each course so we could sample many different fish and preparations. This is a pricey restaurant but well worth it.

Really great food! I went on a Sunday night at 8pm and was very surprised not to see anyone else inside. It made for a somewhat awkward dining experience because no one was in there. I hope business picks up for them. I didn’t get some of the drink presentations that I saw on TikTok which was a little disappointing & I felt the attentiveness of the servers could have been better since it took about 20 mins for another couple to show up. Other than that, the sushi was great, tastes very fresh and my boyfriend was happy with his birthday dinner. I would definitely go back.

Private party facilities
We have several different spaces within the restaurant to hold private events from groups as small as 2- 120. We offer private omakaze in our omakaze bar, KAZE. Our Aureta room is the perfect spot for groups of 6-10. We also have the semi private velvet rooms available for larger groups. Our event coordinator is on hand to guide you.
