A landmark experience. A dining and drinking destination. A historic tradition. Since its inception, the Kaufman House has been a gathering place for travelers, neighbors and friends. Today, Kaufman Tavern continues and updates the tradition, providing a warm welcome, restorative libations and a fun, comfortable, exquisite dining experience.     First time I have been to Kaufman Tavern and the food, atmosphere and service was excellent. I had the beet salad with shrimp and was very delicious! Will definitely return.

    Our server Angela was excellent and very attentive to our dining needs. Great service but, due to a live performance at the Strand Theater the restaurant was packed and our meal delivery took more time than necessary, If it is a theater night allow for more time.

    Menu needs a refresh; seems they have not changed it since reopening. Noise level is high because of limited sound absorbing materials in dining room

    Food was bland. Took over an hour to get meals. Would have left if I didn’t have my 88 year old mother with me. Very disappointed.

    We visited on a Sunday night so the restaurant was a bit quieter than usual. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and the presentation was really attractive. We will definitely be back.
