we arrived for reservation and restaurant was closed due to family health issues. we have dined at katya before and it was excellent. we were just disappointed. also open table wouldnt allow us to search area for other dining options and make a reservations.

We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Given menus and then were ignored for what felt like 10 minutes…long enough to be looking around for a server. We were seated in front of the two musicians and the volume was too loud for us to comfortably talk to each other or the sever. We complained and were moved to a better location where the volume was acceptable. We chose to do the four course pairings which was $140 each. The food was very good and creative, the wine servings were very small compared to other restaurants where we have done the same. Refills of our water glass were not prompt at all and had to wave down a server to get water refills. Staff was very polite. Just did not feel like we got the overall value for the money we paid. This was our first visit, won’t rush back.

Katya's never disappoints. We dine there for every special occasion, bdays, anniversary etc. Can't wait to go for dinner when they open their new space! The martini bar is a perfect idea too! Ocala needed a jazz venue. Love you guys! D and P

We decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary at Katya Vineyards. It was definitely the correct choice. We were greeted with a fabulous table decoration, a card and friendly faces. I highly recommend the steak and lobster flatbread plus mama's olives!! We both had the Wagyu Surf and Turf. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the lobster tail was so tender, it melted in our mouths. Chef Tony treated us to dessert, which we brought home because we wanted to savor it. I am lucky enough to be friends with Kat and Tony, therefore I got to hold and dote on baby London for a good part of our meal. Our special treatment is not based on our friendship, they go above and beyond for all of their guests. DON'T PASS UP Katya Vineyards!!

We are so fortunate to have this wonderful restaurant in Ocala. The food is always outstanding, the ambience the best and we thoroughly enjoy every dinner we’ve ever had at Katya. Tony is a master chef with such creative dishes.

All four of us enjoyed all the food it was outstanding however, I did order the wedge salad, which had some wilted lettuce and some red near the cut area indicating it was several days old and the blue cheese hardly seemed homemade almost from a jar. Everybody at the table agreed that was a little disappointing and could use a little work. however everything else was outstanding.

Honestly really underwhelming!! We dine out pretty often and were here celebrating my mom's birthday. It is a small, family owned restaurant and we felt lucky to get a reservation. My husband and step-dad ordered wine (both of them love wine), and they both weren't crazy about their selections. You'd think for a place with a book full of wines, they would want you to taste and love your pick! As for the food, we ordered the burrata and eggplant and pork belly for apps. The burrata had no taste. The pork belly was fine, but was mostly fat with no meat. I ordered short rib for dinner. I have gotten short rib for the 5th time eating out this month (I have been in the mood for it lately!) and it truly fell short of my expectations. It wasn't that tender and didn't have the sauce that it usually does. I can appreciate not being rushed during dinner, but the service was awfully slow. Almost like she had completely forgotten about us a couple of times. While we appreciate the effort here, we were a bit embarrassed by our experience taking my parents out, and wouldn't recommend this place. If you are looking for a true fine dining experience, the following night, we went to Stirrups and spent $500 on our dinner between the 4 of us. We all agreed we would do it again because the service AND the food were on point!!!!

One meal was good, the other one was no good, even after they redid it. Prices are through the roof, and there are just too many other restaurants with much better value. It was the second time we had been there but will not return.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant and I must say it was very disappointing. First we ordered the lobster flatbread, but unfortunately, the cheese used was so overpowering you couldn't taste the lobster at all. (The start of the dish should should shine.) The sea bass was fresh, but the the way it was prepared could have been much better. The lobster ravioli also fell flat by not showcasing the lobster and its flavor. The short rib dish was well balanced, but it wasn't a home run either. Service was the best part of the night, but it wasn't representative of the caliber of restaurant based on price point.
