Book your next event with us
Food was good, Hostess was not flexible/accommodating, Sascha the server saved the day with her great personality and good service
We shared a bunch of different dishes and they were all delicious. Especially the crispy Brussel sprouts and the wagu fried rice. The service was wonderful and there was a very nice ambiance. Great wine list too. I highly recommend Katsuya for special occasions and date nights.
The people from the bar were very rude and took long time to get the bill...
Absolutely amazing food! Highly recommend!!!
It was great experience with the staff.
Sad to hear that the Menu has changed (many of my favorites changed)
Still 5/5 dinner
Amazing food. Sushi and Robata dishes are delicious. Nice ambient but too noisy for conversations
Outstanding food and service. Easy to book a reservation.
I don’t know if Katsuya didn’t try that hard for Miami Spice, or if it just isn’t that good, or if we got unlucky. The dishes ranged from ordinary to weak, with the exception of the chocolate dessert, which was excellent. The service was very friendly. The atmosphere is great.
Good miami spice menu, but ambiance could be improved during the day.
Wow, absolutely incredible experience. Still dreaming about dessert. Came on a date night for the miami spice menu, was blown out of the water by how delicious the food was. 10/10
Love this place! Had some nice cocktails and beers at the bar before seating...the overall design of the space is nice and the food is on point!
Not exactly cheap but it is worth spending a bit more for the experience.
We will be returning.
Birthday dinner. Was wonderful
Would have liked a few more side dish options and maybe able to order a protein like chicken by itself without having to get the whole dish but other than that the food was amazing. I will be coming again ✨👍🏽
Zach was our waiter! he made a fantastic difference! great service!
Lover boy was the best. Amazinggggggg
Great, but not sure the greeting the staff does when every guest enters us necessary. It was a little disruptive to my personal conversations. Should maybe rethink that.
Service and vibe was great. Food was awful and overpriced.
Amazing food and very good service. We went for Miami Spice and the food was VERY good!!!
So Katsuya, we had a lot of expectations and to be honest they haven’t been filled. The service was ok, my only complaint is that servers took so long to take the order and didn’t know a lot about sake, unfortunately for them we do know and the type of sake I’ve ordered stand for its consistency and color so I sent it back. Luckily the second sake was amazing. The food wasn’t the best, I mean not the worst though, but average. Plates were disturbingly dirty, like they were in a rush ( rest was empty ) we didn’t get that. Cod fish was delicious, and the yellow tail tiradito was also on point. Overall average, I guess our expectations were a little high. Bummer
Amazing for Miami Spice! $6 for a Diet Coke is ridiculous however. Without refills. Unless it was the tone of our waitress.
Other than that our service was quite quick, friendly and great ambiance
Great food and awesome service
Loved it, try the short ribs!
Food esa Delicious and ambiance is really Nice as Well.
Miami Spice lunch menu was an excellent value...
Valet was a disaster. Everything else great!
Refus de nous donner une table dans la salle principale bien qu’il y en ait de libres en entrant et em sortant...
Chef de salle trop presomptueux !
Food was delicious and the service was amazing. Perfect sport for a girls night out.
Took advantage of the Miami-Spice menu.
We had the tasting menu. Wonderful variety, really interesting food and presentation. We will definitely return.
We did the Miami Spice lunch special and it was such a great deal. Will definitely be going back.
Miami Spice Lunch. Outstanding. Creativity albeit Nobu reminiscent. That's a good thing, right. Service by Zak was updated old school. Sushi chefts were fun to watch. Wasn't sure about using one of my limited Miami Spice opportunities on a restaurant with less than 4 on Google, some scathing. I didn't see it. Smiles all around. 3 of us so we got to try several of the offerings. Everything was tasty but the standouts were yellow tail sashimi/tiradito, tuna tartare with crunchy rice, shrimp and spicy tuna roll and a chocolate lava cake with salt coming from the miso perfectly accentuating the cocoa.
Dinner was not merely a meal, it was an experience. The decor is bold but not obtrusive. The family style nature of the menu allowed us to enjoy a communal dining experience not shared when consuming individual plates. We ordered the tasting menu; we were unprepared for what followed. Each course was amazing and exceeded the one before it. The textures and flavors surprised and satisfied. The climax of the evening was the wagyu short ribs. Unbelievable. Our server was attentive, informative, and enthusiastic in a way that made the night fun for all of us.
confusing menu for Miami Spice - has not $ signs for drink pairing
That fact that I would recommend this restaurant to a friend comes with a caveat. Have expendable income. We had a series of small plates including the Crispy Rice with spicy tuna (actually twice), yellow tail sashimi with jalapeno. We also had the salmon lemon and lobster rolls. Everything tasted excellent. Our server was great, the ambiance was nice for a Wednesday night. However, as it seems with most everything in Miami the price is just too high. Between these dishes, 2 desserts and a couple of drinks our total with tax and tip was close to $350. I understand most "nice" restaurants will be mostly the same in terms of cost. The problem with these restaurants having such expensive menus is that in order for there to be a return visit the restaurant and experience has to BLOW EVERYONE AWAY. Otherwise, you are really better off continuing to find other new places in the city that will hopefully get you that satisfaction.
Went on Monday for the Miami spice and was waited on by Danny. Great service guided us through the menu and recommended nice drinks. The popcorn shrimp and Brussels sprouts were fantastic first time ever trying Brussels. Then had the spare ribs, wow was that mouth watering. Will def be going again soon and asking for Danny. Thank you for making the experience amazing.
I went for the Miami Spice special and it was great. It was me and two other friend and the portions were perfect to share between the three of us and try everything! I did wish the sushi roll option on the menu was different, but we just ordered an extra roll outside the special. The drink special was also great; glasses of wine for $11. I'd definitely recommend and I'll definitely be back!
Fantastic experience in every way. The food was as tasteful as it was innovative. The decor was as fascinating as it was inviting. The service with our waiter Danny was as friendly as it was efficient. This restaurant will become our go-to place in Miami.
We took advantage of the Miami Spice menu and what a great decision it was! Everything was absolutely Amazing!! The service?! A++ You’re in for a real treat!
Wasn’t impressed, service was painfully slow.
