Lovely dinner for two. Service was attentive but unintrusive. Food was well executed. Would go back again!
Very good food, service was amazing everything came out on time. Only disappointment was the size of the lobster in the lobster and steak meal not much lobster in the actual pieces my date and I received. Aside from that it was a great dinner.
Terrible food and service. Staff is not trained well. Unprofessional.
Excellent food and service. very relaxing atmosphere. Would go back again.
Over all we were happy . They could have dimmed the lights. We felt like we were sitting under spot lights. The food and service were great!!!!
Expected some sort of chef show for teppanyaki, especially for winterlicious. All he did was making a volcano with onion and that was it. The whole cooking was done in less than 10min. No music was on in the restaurant either. It was dead quiet. My 2 and 4 year old kids were still hungry after spending close to $250. So not worth the money.
Food was great and service was wonderful
I booked this restaurant for Winterlicious but i didn’t know that dining room was for regular menu. When I asked the server, he was very nice and told me he would speak to the host. The host took his time to address my inquiry and when the server did get confirmation that I could move, the host said to leave it and he would move my table later. After sitting a few more minutes, he came by and stated blandly, “so you want winterlicious?” I confirmed and then he just picked up the menus and water. There was no further dialogue exchanged and attitude was unpleasant. This set the mood for the entire meal which was unfortunate given that our cook and servers were friendly. The meal was good but not filling for all parties. Ice cream was the best part.
The chef made the dishes in front of us, which is the teppanyaki main selling point. However, the dishes were delivered too fast. I arrived at 6 pm and I would leave at 6:45 pm. I would like to enjoy the dish more, bit by bit.
The noise was created by a child far away, but it was very annoying. I understood this was not the restaurant's fault. It still affected my mood in the restaurant.
Initially the servers rushed to take orders and clear the table; then we waited 20 minutes to have the chance to ask for refills and for the dessert plates to be cleared. Teppanyaki chef was nice but the wagyu did not taste as it should
We booked this as a part of winterlicious and didn't realize we were going to one of those restaurants where the chef is a true showman and cooks fresh ingredients in front of you. Excellent experience with good quality food.
very ambient nice surrounding good for a group of people and a lot of fun
food could be a bit larger but the cooking at the table nice and very very fresh
waitress very good pricy but a very good time all in all
Really mediocre food with inattentive service.
Glad we went for old time sake but really just meh. Servers seemed to want to be elsewhere and chefs seemed bored.
We sat in the dining room and it was perfect. The food was prepared perfectly, and was beyond delicious. I just want to say that, in addition to a nice meal, we had a delightful waitress, she had just the right balance of friendliness and efficiency. She and other staff members made certain that we had everything we needed, which made our meal that much more enjoyable. We will definitely be back!
Poor service, the food is just average. The waitress has extremely disrespectful manner, and she requested us 15% tip on the machine without informing us. She nearly argued with us because we want to add tip by ourselves. When I asked her to help us with Sukiyaki pot, she said: can’t you do it by yourself?
Good service but the foods needed to improved. Some of the sashimi were not fresh and the soft shell crab deep fried powder paste were too thick.
Great place to have conversation and downtime, with great food!
The service was terrible
Great Japanese cuisine. Lunch is usually not busy and the dinning room is quite which allows for good conversation with those you are eating with.
No one was at the entrance and she did not come out until I called.
She did not take my umbrella, before I asked here where I could leave my umbrella.
My friend ordered tea but it was forgotten. I reminded a waitress to bring a tea cup.
when we wanted to have a spoon, we had to look for a waitress. No one was around, although it was not crowded --four tables were occupied including ours.
We paid so much that we would like to have had better services.
The food was fantastic
Friendly staff, good food, great recommendations and good value . I will be going back soon.
Visit multiple times a year. Always a great experience. Food value is worth it.
Always a consistent and enjoyable evening.
Great as always and great food quality. They accommodate our 13 month old and have since he was 6 months.
Beef steak is tough and chewy, not like Wagyu US beef. Veggies taste so so. Sushi is like outside sushi, not worth the price which 11 dollars for 2 piece.
Great food and service. Could do with better A\C though. It was uncomfortably warm.
The food is not worth 53 dollars for the summerlicous menu. This is the worst summerlicous restaurant I have ever tried over last 5 years.
The wagging srriploin was overdone even I ordered medium rare. customers on other sides of the table was talking in a high pitch
Cooking table - great experience. Great quality food.
Beautiful and elegant place to dine-in. Superb service.
I and my friend have a good time.
If you like sushi and sashimi, Katura would be a great place to go. The chef prepares sushi for the day specially upon request. More quiet at lunchtime than dinner. Service is always excellent.
good service and A nice place to visit but the quality of food need to improve.
Amazing restaurant. They need more waiters. The poor were running from one table to another.
Great place, good food.
Will come again.
Had a high expectation but it was just okay. Pricy and I don’t feel the money brings the same value
We had a wonderful night in the restaurant, especially when the staff brought a cake for our anniversary! Every staff was very nice and helpful! Thank you for the great memories! We appreciate it!
