Katie's Pizza & Pasta Osteria - Town & Country
Our server was great, very noisy. Food was good, price a little high.
Food was great. Server’s suggestions were good. But they forgot to give us our couple of leftover pizza slices. And they seemed to rush us out by giving us the bill, when we would have ordered another round of drinks.
One glass of wine, one lemonade, a small pizza and the special (a plate of noodles with morels) for $76 which included the tip. Pretty over-priced. The food was quite good though. This was our second time but will probably be our last. There are plenty of restaurants that are just as good for less.
Loved the atmosphere and menu. It’s is pricey tho. Especially for brunch. Margarita pizza was small and $16. $15 for pancakes. $9 kids meal of pancakes and bacon. Tasty tho!
The Caprese salad was so good- the tomatoes were surprising good for this time of year. The service was exceptional!
The noise level is pretty high on the weekend, but we still could hear one another. The crust on the pizzas was OUTSTANDING. The toppings were amazingly fresh and tasty. We had the potato pizza, pear prosciutto pizza, and the margarita pizza. Planning the next visit soon.
Warning: they don’t allow you to sit and chat for too long after dinner on the weekends. It’s understandable, but just be aware. The bus person put her fingers in our glasses and cleared the table without too much warning.
Great food and service. The place was quite loud on a busy night however.
Absolutely love this place! Always can't wait to get there when I'm in town.
Nice setting, great service and wonderful food with interesting flavors!
we loved the service from Bar and Wait staff!
Food is outstanding!
Katies is one of our favorite places in St. Louis. Really good food and drinks. Good wine selection beyond the basics which is nice. I can get a glass of raumbauer or a super Tuscan by the glass. Love that because I only drink one but I want it to be a good one. My kids love it too. They have a few vegetables so the kids also get some health besides carbs. And their meatballs are so yummy.
Fabulous as always!
Katie's is great! An STL staple I would recommend to anyone.
Katie’s has become a regular Saturday spot for our family. The food is excellent - love the artichoke appetizer and the pizzas are always wonderful.
Amazing food, amazing service. Overall great experience
Katie's is really great. We have been long time fans of the location in Rock Hill and the new location in Town & Country is even better. The pasta is awesome! Love the apps too! Great addition to the pizza which you cannot beat either. Knocked it out of the park!
Had a lovely time at Katie's - great food while getting caught up with a girlfriend
Family in town. We enjoy this restaurant. I know the chairs look cute but most are very uncomfortable. So I always snag a good chair when we come here. The mushroom appetizer was amazing. Everyone enjoyed their food. Cocktails are pricey. I love the mushroom pasta and squid ink pasta. Tried the lobster spaghetti. It was okay. Not anything special. I asked for lemon wedges and that helped give the acid it needed. Whatever sauce it was supposed to have—- I couldn’t taste it. It was pretty loud hard to hear at your table. Very busy night. At the beginning I felt like they
Wanted us to order so they could turn the table. We were a party of 6 and had 2 bottles of wine and cocktails. Eventually we didn’t feel that way and enjoyed our dinner.
My wife and I went for our 28th wedding anniversary. The food came before our drinks. We had drinks, dinner and dessert and were out of there in less than 1 hour. I cannot recall the last time I felt and noticed the restaurant was trying to turn tables and get me out of there. Not the experience I was hoping for. Are you in it for the love of food and your customers or for the love of money?
My first time there for brunch - it was fantastic. I was surprised at how large the portion sizes were, and the bottomless mimosas were amazing.
Katie's is one of our favorites. The staff was great as always. The food is usually excellent but was not up to their typical quality standards this weekend. The pizza classica was a bit disappointing; dry with little red sauce and there was little arugula. A bit of a disappointing experience which was unusual.
We decided on dinner at Katie’s just a short time before our reservation. Our choice was based on proximity & previous Yelp reviews. The vibe is very trendy & hip. From the artwork on the walls, to the music, to the entire staff, everything about the ambiance is appealing.
We order the meatball pizza and it was pretty darn good. I was shocked at how quickly it arrived...so quickly, in fact, that we had eaten most of our pizza before our drinks arrived.
My oldest ordered from the kids menu and he enjoyed his pizza. An additional $3 to add meatballs to his pepperoni pizza seemed a bit high, but not a big deal.
My single biggest complaint is the lukewarm beer. The seasonal selections are still wintery and I’m ready for spring! So I ordered a Bud Light. Maybe I was being punished for ordering bad beer, but lukewarm Bud Light is pretty nasty. I drank about half and decided to pair my ice water with my pizza instead.
Overall, a reasonable price for pretty good pizza. We live out of town, but I would definitely return when we visit again.
The lunch special provides great options. Food is always delicious. It’s one of my favorite go-to places.
One of our favorites. Food and service are amazing (always!) and they are so lovely with kiddos — even giving pizza dough to play with at table. Now we disappoints. Not cheap in any sense of the word, but delicious.
The waitress was wonderful and the food was delicious!
The noise level item is confusing. Is the increasing height of the bars equivalent to increasing noise? Yes, it's noisy. My sound meter = about 78-80 and this was 11.30 a.m. on a Sunday and it was less than half full. But the food was excellent, the servings St. Louis-generous, and the service great.
The new citrus burrata is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend it!
Food is always good, place is extremely loud but still a good value.
It was our first time at this restaurant. The restaurant is casual. Saturday night, place was packed. Recommend to make reservation on open table. Server Israel was awesome!!! Fast, nice, helpful on any/all aspects. Great job, Israel!!! The food is different. Many dishes has so many ingredients. Delicious, delicious, delicious.. We ordered Wild boar pasta, fried burrata, Tom's chef salad, black bean soup. Everything was top notch!! Only couple thing I wish possible to change-tables for 2 are tooooo close to each other. People who was sitting to us were so loud and couldn't hear what my companion was saying to me. The level of noise at the restaurant is very high. Thank you
We had a very good experience. Dinner was a 5pm sitting, so our expectations were lower than a later seating. Food was very good, service was efficient. I look forward to eating dinner at a later time to taste the meal selection again.
Birthday . Love the meat pizza and apps
We picked Katie’s to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. We had the polenta & fried artichoke hearts for appetizers. The polenta was so creamy and the sauce was packed with flavor. The artichokes were fried, but not breaded. The preparation was different, yet delicious. We each ordered a pizza for dinner. Each one had a twist on the traditional toppings. I’m always impressed with the freshness of ingredients and the innovative menu options at Katie’s.
The food was outstanding. Also we were able to enjoy happy hour. I would definitely recommend to friends and family
Love love love the fried artichokes
Pizza and wine were great as always but the noise was so loud my ears hurt afterward. Please put something on the concrete floors. It’s hard on the servers’ feet too. My husband refuses to come because of the noise, even on weekdays. I won’t return unless it’s to eat outdoors. I know the restaurant has made some effort to reduce the noise but it’s not enough!
Also, it was so dark I had difficulty reading the menu and seeing my food.
Visited Katie’s for happy hour libations and food offerings. As usual, the happy hour pizza and meatballs were very good but the prices. The beer and wine prices are fine. The price for the tasty meatballs was ok but the price for the pizza, although very good, I believe is excessive. Our service level was good but not special.
If only you could hear the person you were with it might be perfect.
Yes, Probably some of the best pasta I've had in awhile.
My daughters 16th birthday.
