I just love this place! I’ve been many times before, but most recently for my birthday dinner. Kyle, our server was awesome and a fellow Pisces! The food is delicious and the drinks were on point as usual. Our vibe was perfect, thank you again Katana! The food is always good to me.
Don’t accept a table by the bathrooms. Periodic sewage smell wafting out. Gross. And a bit off putting for an otherwise upscale place to mention several times that they encourage you to eat and get out (mention of the two hour “time limit” when I made the reservation was sufficient).

Katana is one of the best little gems in Los Angeles...killer view, great staff...making you feel #1....and of course the food is always top quality and amazing chef!

The best dining experience in Los Angeles!!! Amazing food, amazing location, and amazing vibes. The executive sushi chef made me a custom lobster sushi roll and Eric our server was more than accommodating! Cant wait to visit again!
Food was way overpriced and nothing special. Definitely not worth the price. Friendly service and outside patio were only positives.
Jerry Seinfeld comedy is still applicable almost 30 years later. Made a reservation for 10:15, arrived at 10:10 and was invited to wait at the overcrowded bar for 45 minutes because 'they were running behind schedule.'

Took almost an hr to b seated even with a reservation . The food was amazing. Drinks were great.

Made reservations, told had to be there on time. Got there 15 mins early to check in even was told only had a 2 hour block for dinner cause it was a special holiday. Waited at the bar and it was 30 mins past reservation time and no one came by to get us, so I decided to go back to the host checkin and was told our table is ready. Well it wasn’t and we ended up having to wait another 15 mins by the time we sat down it was 45 mins passed our reservation time. Thankfully I planned the dinner early enough that we were not late to our next destination because that would have been a complete disaster. Food was good as usual but the lobster roll was horrendous. Overcooked and was mush. Ate two bites and left the rest.
Everything was amazing except we went on Vday and the kitchen was running behind. We were not seated until an hour after our reservation time. Aside from that everything was amazing. Food was to orgasmic.
I made reservations at Katana for my boyfriends birthday, which is also Valentines Day. I received a phone call the week prior confirming my reservation and was told there was a 2 hour dining limit etc and I confirmed and was honestly impressed with the customer service. We arrived 15 minutes early to our reservation because we expected it to be busy due to the holiday. The restaurant was packed, you couldn’t stand anywhere without getting shoved by either customers or by the staff. After checking in, we stood up against the wall because there was nowhere else to stand waiting to be seated. An hour went by so I decided to get a drink. I managed to be seen at the bar and after 15 mins got served a drink. Shortly after, one of the chefs walking be ran into me and knocked my champagne glass over, looked back and didn’t apologize nor ask to get me another drink to replace the one he knocked over. Ok fine, we continue to wait. TWO HOURS past our reservation, we got seated. Overall, the food was good but I would never come back due to the experience. This restaurant needs to learn time management especially on big holidays, the place was a mess. The staff should be trained for instances like this. First and last time coming here. Horrible.
They overbooked the restaurant and we had to wait for an hour for service. Took us 15 mins just to be able to check in. No standing room while we were waiting so we had to wait outside. Many upset guests! Over 45 mins to get our table in the end.
