   We had a wonderful time sitting and chatting over a bottle of wine last night, thanks to our server, who was knowledgeable, efficient and so very fun. The food was great, we had a smoked marlin dip, chicken liver mouse, zucchini jun and the best cornbread I have ever had in Hawaii! We also purchased a yummy piece of pie to go. Prices were very reasonable, overall a great experience!!

   The food at Kapa Hale was fine. There were 2 other large parties there so it was very loud. It was nice that they gave a complimentary scoop of their homemade vanilla ice cream to our birthday girl.

   Nothing to return for. Limited menu...mediocre service...noisy...my wife was served a meatless chicken dish...$40-$50 main courses. The chef is obviously competent but needs to revise and expand the menu.

   I can't say enough about the food and the staff. Everything was perfect for my lunch with a friend. I appreciate the tables being far enough apart that you don't feel that someone is listening in on a private conversation. I truly appreciate the locally sourced ingredients, and everything was beautifully and deliciously prepared.

    Outstanding service, food and presentation. A nice variety of meat and veggie options as well as alcoholic beverages. We didn't order any main entrees; instead we focused on appetizers and small plates were not disappointed. We will definitely go back.

    Really enjoyed the food and service. Went for Mother's Day dinner and they were serving a fixed menu. All the dishes were excellent and plenty of food to share with the table. We sat outside so don't know what the noise level is like inside, but we will go back again for a regular dinner. Looking forward to trying many other dishes.

    Kapa Hale's Mother's Day brunch was a nice surprise. Just the right selection of all-you-can-eat salads, pastries, charcuterie, and desserts to complement the entrée of our choice, all with a nice local flair using locally sourced ingredients. The ambiance was happy, welcoming, and cozy. The service was excellent. We will definitely do this again!

    We went to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The food was great as usual. The caulk flower was very flavorful and we enjoyed the Benedict and mushroom sando. The ambiance was nice as we had a relaxed time talking.

    This place was recommended by a family member and OH BOY, did they undersell the experience? This is the best food in Kahala. So happy to have been able to go with a big group (7 people) so that we could sample so many different dishes.

    Kapa Hale is my go-to restaurant for taking out-of-town visitors who want to enjoy a "new" taste of Hawaii. Keaka Lee does not disappoint: my visitors thoroughly enjoyed their dinner, asking to return on their next trip back to Hawaii! So enthusiastic, they "forgot to take pictures of their meal!" Our server advised my hyper-allergic friend about ordering her meal and he was spot on . . . we shall return!!

    Took our friends and shared several pupus and veggie sides and a couple or main dishes. Everything was creative and delicious. The seafood laska was my favorite. My husband who usually prefers savory over dessert items ate all of the shoyu maple creme brulee - it was his favorite brulee ever!

    Food is always good, service is usually on point but this last time we got a little slow service and we were one of two tables. Go patronize this business, we need it to stay open in kahala for it’s unique take on local food!

    Such a lovely experience as visitors to Oahu. The chef came to our table to talk about our experience and offered recommendations for the island. He proceeded to send out dessert for us complimentary. We had the naan, seafood risotto, and pork belly. It was all phenomenal.

    First visit, not impressed. Ordered Spring pre-fix menu. Was told by waiter that I should have been told that the melon gazpacho on the menu was changed to a tomato by the server. He was the server! They didn't have the port wine that was also offered on the dessert menu. Really?! On the bright side the samosa was very good and so was the wine list.

    This was our second time bringing friends to Kapa Hale and again they did not disappoint. Again the server was super attentive and friendly. We ordered in a family style so that each unique dish could be shared. Excellent flavor and quality and they try very hard to source the ingredients locally. Very dog friendly in their outdoor seating. Until next time!

    The food was beautifully plated and the combinations were interesting and tasty. A few dishes could use a bit more balance like the salad presented like a crown- a lot of pickled veggies made is very sweet . The carpaccio was probably our favorite. The naan is made in house but if you are expecting real naan this is more like a flat bread with a tomato sauce. The service was good although the server was not familiar with all the ingredients of the specials that day. Very casual spot
