   My recent experience at Kanyakumari left much to be desired. While the ambiance was pleasant and the wait staff attentive, the high prices for underwhelming portions of lackluster food fell short of expectations. The Vada Pav and Duck Roast appetizers were mediocre, and the main dishes like the Amma Mess Fish Curry and Seafood Gassi were lackluster. The Seafood Gassi, in particular, had sparse seafood portions and a a single tough unpeeled shrimp. The Coconut Payasam failed to meet expectations, resembling more of a simple mix of condensed milk and pineapple rather than the traditional coconut payasam. **Overall Impression:** Kanyakumari's saving grace is its attractive ambiance and attentive service. However, the high prices, small portions, and subpar taste of the dishes left much to be desired. For those seeking an authentic Indian culinary experience, this restaurant may not live up to expectations.

   Great staff, Hostess and waitress were fantastic. Food was fresh and to be cooked with wholesome ingredients.

   It was crowded given that it was Valentine’s day .. Had to wait half an hour before seated . The food was really good and delicious. We tried Bonda , Guruprasad Dosa and Malvani Chicken with Malabar Parota . Liked Bonda and chicken very much . Dosa was super crispy but a bit oily . Didn’t like sambhar and chutneys was expecting better taste .. Overall it was really good experience and certainly visit again to try few more options ..Increase vegetarian options in large plates please ..

   Excellent food Absolutely delicious and flavorful Somewhat overpriced as all restaurants in NYC are these days sadly, but depending on how you order you can keep a meal for 2 w a couple of beers under $200 Terrific service as well..charming helpful kind w out being pretentious and overbearing
