   Food was good. It is pricey at Kankakee. Server was very polite but had inside tables and we only saw her 2 times and unfortunately, after food was delivered we were missing an an item and needed napkins. We would go back.

   We go there regularly for trivia. The food is very good, but a bit on the pricey side. The other recommendation would be to refresh the menu once in a while. We have been choosing from pretty much the same choices for the past year and a half.

   I love coming to Kankakee Grill for our date nights❤️ service is always great and I love the live music. I had the New York strip last night and that was THE BEST I think I've ever tasted! Props to the chef!!

    We went on a Thursday when they have surf and turf. So we ordered that. A lobster tail and a filet. The lobster was over cooked and rubbery. The filet was not as good as the filet you get if you just order the filet off the menu. It came with asparagus which was so over cooked it was mushy. The server was not up to their usual standards. We have been here multiple times and is one of our "go to" places. We will be back and it will be good. We were just disappointed this time.

    Great experience. We had the potato soup, sooo good. I had the rib dinner, very good. My husband had the ravioli, it was ok, just a matter of a person's taste and it just wasn't his. The prices were reasonable. The service was great. I recommend this place!

    Wonderful experience! We ordered the crab cake appetizer on a cream corn sauce which was to die for! . Steak was perfectly done and seasoned. They had women playing keyboard and singing who was excellent too!!

    Well after having one of the best steaks I've had in a long time ordering the Bison Ribeye this time was just the opposite. I ordered it medium and there was absolutely no pink inside and I was shaking the entire table trying to cut through it. Not sure how you go from so good to so bad.

    My spouse and I had 5PM reservations and were seated at 5PM. Our waitress arrived shortly thereafter and took our drink orders. The drinks arrived quick and we gave our menu orders at that time. The food orders took way too long. We sat for over 40 minutes before the waitress informed us they were short of staff and had to call in a chef that was on his day off to cover for a no-show employee. We were 5 minutes to walking out when our food arrived. This is not acceptable as we should have been informed of the situation before taking our food orders.

    our server had a very large group along with our table for 2 she never forgot about us food was out quickly and hot water glasses kept filled. sat right beside the singer and could still have a conversation.

    Was sat way back in a corner, then I asked for my filet to be medium rare came out to me well done then they brought me a new steak one side was more on the rare temp the other side was well done side very disappointing for the price. Need better cooks .

    Our waitress was terrible. After checking on us one time while we were eating she went and sat at a table with I guess her friends that were visiting? We ate and get done with our meal and then had to sit for 15-20 minutes just waiting for her to come ask us if we want a box?? Terrible we also ordered the biscuits and they needed something sweet so we asked for the preserves which was blueberry lavender and that was terrible! I had to pay $1 for a cup of preserves that I didn’t even eat. Overall just not a good dinner.

    My blue gill player was very good although not a fan of the truffle French fries- should have substituted. Caesar salad was excellent. My friend had the bbq sandwich which she said was dry- not fan of fries either. Server did not ask if we wanted refills of drinks- had to try and get her attention
