   Best service we had on the whole trip. The waiter was so attentive and checked on us. Every five minutes called us by our names was super personable. Made us feel very special even went and got ice for my friends ankle and brought us blankets. The ambience is so amazing. There’s nothing like it. The prices are really reasonable, and the food was outstanding. 10/10 experience

   Perfect gateway… I am morning person, and like to get out and see sunrises with coffee… and there was no coffee, the restaurant opened until 7am. Everything else perfect!

   Was a wonderful birthday dinner. We were upgraded to a nest and had a beautiful view of both the ocean and the jungle. The mushroom pasta was fabulous. Felix took wonderful care of us.

   You have to pay. You have to pay a couple hundred dollars for the “experience,” and $350 for food and drink for two. You pay even if you don’t eat that much. You can take some food and drink out with you after dinner, but I was impatient with the whole gouging thing and I just wanted to leave without souvenirs. Plus, I am staying in a hotel. Nowhere to store a bunch of takeout. Not a good value at all. The tip is not included and you can’t use the balance of your $350 for that. They calculate the tip based on the $350, not what you actually ate. I left the recommended 15% (which you have to do downstairs because for some reason they don’t have portable card readers). Of course the service was excellent; this is Mexico. The address here on Open Table is wrong. It’s on the beach road but not where it says. It’s in the Kanan hotel. My gps found it in Centro, where it is also not. The most expensive table does have breathtaking views of the sea, however, the tables are really low so you have to hunch over your food. The food was really good! Nicely made. The presentation was modest and the flavors were pretty good. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the food and service but really not enjoyable to be greeted with one outrageous bill after another.

   Horrible experience. You get roped into a set spending plan that they have your credit card yet make you sign your rights away on a separate card. They also wanted to make a copy of my drivers license? WTH?! I said no but had to go up to the desk and the women said ok. Totally sus. I’ve been all over the world and this has never happened. I’m eating dinner there not staying there. And you have my credit card and have already said I have to pay a minimum. The food was horrible. We ordered a lot (bc we had to) the only thing that was good was the risotto. We had the fish dish, pizza, pasta, couscous salad, tuna tartare. All flavorless. One of the bathroom stalls had a gaping hole in the wall to the kitchen…what?? So bizarre. Don’t be taken by this scam of a place like we were.

   Hermoso hotel y restaurant en Tulum , los chicos que atienden son super amable y sevicial , la area del nido muy bonita , gracias al chico que no sirvio en la mesa fuen super atento y muy amable , gracias

   Una gran experiencia! Recomiendo mucho llegar al atradecer para ver la puesta de sol desde uno de sus maravillosos nidos! El menú nocturno es de primer nivel y está delicioso! El servicio y el lugar inigualables... Israel y Azyri fueron excelentes anfitriones.

   A full payment amount is required upfront and you will be told by the hostess, “it covers all you can eat and drink.” Not true. All items you order will be itemized and calculated based on menu prices and if you go over your initial payment you will have to pay the overage. The opposite isn’t true. You will not be reimbursed. The “tip” is also added and mandatory and the percentage of the tip that you will pay is already decided for you. The address provided in Open Table is not correct. It is a 10 minute drive past the actual location, assuming there is no traffic. There is always traffic. We were over an hour late because of the incorrect address provided. No one answers the phone. There is also no parking available.
