Made reservations over a month in advance. We were so excited to experience the ocean front dining experience. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate and the patio/ terrace was closed on the night we dined there. So instead, we were seated with a limited view of the ocean. Very disappointing. I can’t understand why restaurant staff don’t seat guests at the best possible seat in the house if it is available. The restaurant was not even close to full and our reservation was at 6pm, hardly prime dining time. The food was okay - not phenomenal. Won’t be coming back.

This was our 25th Anniversary Dinner. I had requested a table on the water, but no one at the restaurant ever responded to me, even after I called and left two messages. We did have a table up front, but not as close as I would have liked. The service was just ok. The food was good, the dessert, cheesecake was awesome. The atmosphere is amazing, waves crashing below and if you get there early enough a fabulous sunset.

My wife and I had dinner here this week. We loved the poke appitizer, our cocktails and our entrees. The view was amazing and our server was very attentive. We had a great experience. It is a little pricey so this place is good for special occasions.

The hostess was rude. The servers at the bar were rude. Wine is extremely overpriced (a typical $15 bottle wine was sold at $66.) The food was mediocre but charged at 3x the typical price.

Some of the tenderest and tastiest beef. It was a bit windy that night but they quickly seated us inside with the windows pushed wide open so we sat where it was a bit quieter and easier to talk with each other.

Elegant, romantic with impressive views of ocean, beautiful sunset with a green flash that evening. We were also entertained with atleast 6 whales spouting and swimming from a distance. The waiter, Christian, was very personable and provided excellent service. We had the 14 oz. ribeye and crab cake, and both were very delicious. The ribeye was very savory and tender. We also had coconut creme brûlée which is served in a real coconut shell...I definitely wasn't going to pass up one of my favorite desserts, especially since we were celebrating Valentine's Day. We've dined here 2 other times before and have enjoyed it, but this experience was the best. The stellar food, remarkable food presentation, friendly service, atmosphere and spectacular views are unbeatable. Highly recommended.

My husband and I had dinner here in Feb 2018. The best time for a reservation was 630p( I set up the time weeks in advance on OpenTable. Good thing I did - it was booked every night) We arrived at 6pm and had a cocktail at the front patio area and watched the sun setting - what a magnificent view. We asked to quickly be seated at 620pm in the back patio and watched the sun set with all of the other customers, who all gasped in unison.

Every seat is great, although we wanted a 2 person seat right at the ocean but we were unwilling to pay the extra $25 to guarantee it. As expected, the fare prices at a high end establishment in Hawaii were very high. We come from NYC and by our standards, we thought the menu was overpriced. $83 for a lobster, $57 for a NY Strip. We shared these plus an order of onion rings ($10) which were great. The food was really excellent, the location, the ambiance, the sunset, the service, excellent drinks ---this is why the prices are inflated. Well worth it for a one time special/fancy/memorable dinner. Would definitely recommend.

Had 5:00 standard dining reservations, opening time. We’re seated on the patio, which seemed to be the majority of the tables. Not sure what the $25 charge was all about — maybe a reservation closer to the 6:30 sunset? Anyway, our party if 4 enjoyed crab cakes and the tomato salad, followed by mahimahi, short ribs, Bouillabaisse. Desserts were lilikoi cheesecake and the mudslide. All of our choices were good, not spectacular. Wine list was pricey — figure at least $50. You are definitely paying for the scenery and location overlooking the ocean, with Maui in the distance. Sunset was a bit cloudy but beautiful. A bit distracting to have resort patrons walking on the path past the tables.

The food was amazing and the service was stellar. The view could not be more beautiful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and suggest getting a reservation. Be sure to bring along a light jacket - it gets chilly at night.

We were seated at a great table by the ocean. Our server Linda was great. She was friendly and efficient. The monchong fish was prepared really tasty and the ribeye steak with mushrooms and onions was sensational. On the occasion of my 74th birthday, I was offered a dessert.
