Kamiya 86 is a hidden gem located at the plaza of Azalea at A1A N Ponte Vedra beach. Let us take you on an adventure to experience specially curated Japanese cuisine with our inexpensive 14 course omakase dinner. Omakase means “I’ll leave it up to you” which is most commonly used when dining at a Japanese restaurant where the customer leaves it up to the chef to select and serve special dishes. Our skilled chefs have more than 15 plus years of sushi experience. Each course will be made in front of you to offer you the freshest and highest quality of ingredients imported from all across Japan from the Toyusu market. Our omakase course is perfect for special occasions, date nights, or to treat yourself to a one of kind dinner experience.

My son and I finally went to Omikase at Kamiya, and it was amazing! Chef Byron showcases the best fish available, then prepares the nigiri in creative and delicious ways. He starts the meal with a cold and warm appetizer, which were both innovative and tasty, then the nigiri course starts, along with sake, then capped off with desert. We were truly thrilled with our dinner and will definitely be coming back to do the omikase again!

We went here for the first time and its probably a one and done. The sushi eel skin was super chewy, yuck. There were no substitutions allowed and all I wanted was to omit rice from the chicken teriyaki and sub for either the soup AND the salad or just more vegetables. The server was attentive but zero personality. The chicken was good.

Absolutely a amazing experience, me and my husband are sushi lovers and it was so great to try new things and new combinations of nigiri with all these topping it definitely changed my perspective on sushi. Byron was our chef and he was amazing

We did the omakase experience and had an amazing meal prepared by sushi chef Byron. He explained each dish. The pacing was spot on and took about an hour and a half. The service staff was on point and was always ready for the next course. If we are back in the area again, we would definitely try to do this again!!
