Come and try our delicious cuisines! You won't regret it!
Efficient service and high quality food make this our go to Happy Hour location when we also want to eat dinner whether it's tapas or a full meal.
The only friendly personnel was the manager. Everyone else was grim and robotic. Food was fine.
There for happy hour and ate out on the patio. Imagine the patio service we had to be a bit slower than had we sat inside, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. Sushi was good and prices were fair. We’ll be back.
Kamiya's food is consistently fresh and delicious. They have a fair Happy Hour with good pricing on small plate items which makes it a reasonable value for the great quality of food you can enjoy.
Amazing food. So humbled and happy that you acknowledged my baby daughter visiting from Brooklyn, NY. Your southern hospitality was so appreciated. Love your restaurant. Thank you so much!
Sushi was ok..... not a fan of this place.
Nothing like the other two Kamiyas! Kani salad was good. Wonton soup too salty. Main meal came within a few minutes of the appetizer being served (even though the restaurant was empty). General Tso’s chicken was soggy, overly sweet and luke warm.
Our second and last visit.
Food was very good. Service was not. Our main courses came out at different times. I was almost done when my husbands food finally came out. It’s so disappointing because the food was so much better than I thought it was going to be.
Great staff. We went for a multigenerational family dinner and they were very accommodating especially with the children!
Food was fresh, delicious and generous. Service was excellent.
Excellent and friendly service by Katrina. Authentic and tasty Asian cuisine including well presented sushi. Everyone in our party of four were very satisfied with their choices. We will definitely return. Of course, there are non-sushi choices as well on their extensive menu. Full bar as well, including hot and cold sake. Easy parking, too, at least on a Sunday evening.
Madeline was great!
The kids box is a great price and great food! Teriyaki chicken is delicious. Brought my dad out a birthday surprise! Wonderful!
My grandson and girlfriend were here for a weeks visit
Service was fast and servers were very attentive.
They did not confirm our reservation despite me showing the confirmation e-mail. Eventually we got a table. Food was good but staff was overwhelmed and service was very very slow
Our server was wonderful and knew when to approach and when to give us some space. The sushi was good and competitively priced. I would go back.
Unfortunately they are terribly understaffed and instead of starting a wait list and capping reservations the restaurant continued to seat customers. We watched 2 tables walk out because no one took a drink order after 15 minutes. We probably would have done the same had we not ordered drinks and an appetizer. The food was fantastic when it arrived and I hate that the service was so terrible but I blame that on management. The bussers were quick to refill glasses and grab extra sauce and silverware when asked and didn’t hesitate to assist the waitstaff. We did not get the opportunity to speak with a manager because they were always busy and unlike most restaurants one did not come to our table to check in. I am willing to give them another change and any recommendation will include a warning about staffing issues and crowd management.
My husband and I loved this restaurant! We went on Sunday evening and sat outside. The service was great. I had read that the service was sub par, but we were greeted with genuine smiles and seated outside at our request. The waiter was prompt and helpful. The menu was extensive and included sushi, teriyaki, curries, chef recommendations, and bento boxes. Husband ordered sashimi bento box. He reports tuna, salmon, halibut all fresh and beautifully presented with spring rolls, and California rolls. He ate every bite! I ordered the teriyaki bento box. The chicken was moist and perfectly seasoned. served on assorted veggies, along with spring rolls, California rolls, and rice. Delicious. We will definite put Kamiya 86 on our list of favorite casual beach dinning.
Fabulous on so many levels !! We love the Jax Beach location and decided to check the new one out in Neptune Beach. The space is gorgeous- I can't believe this is the old Village Inn from my Papa Joe's days back 20 years ago. This building has been truly transformed.
The sushi is amazing - the layers of flavor and textures are treat for the senses. My new favorite is the Tigers Eye - which has the soy paper. There's a wonderful texture of firm but not chewy Ana a layer of warm with cold on the inside. Pure heaven.
I also love a good dynamite roll - which can often disappoint with a soggy tempura. But but here - the tempura is crispy and delicious!
The service was spot on - such pleasant people who clearly love what they are doing. I am thrilled that this new location has opened its doors here in Neptune Beach!!
