Kaminski's Chophouse

I've been here three times now and the experience is always great. I usually get the Kansas City steak and it's always been done relatively the same per my mid-rare request. Either way, I love the salad and meat display experience and my servers have always been outstanding. I live over an hour away and it's always worth the drive.

This was one of the best steaks I've ever had. I highly recommend ordering dessert too. We had the brownie and Im still thinking about it 3 days later. It was AMAZING!

We have been coming to Kaminski's for years and have always loved it. But was less that impressed this time around. Waiter was very pushy. And food was subpar. The cheese on the escargot was rubbery. The 16oz porterhouse was full of tendons, not the usual cut of meat one would expect. The hollandaise sauce was also cold when served.

I was taken there for my birthday. The food was absolutely amazing. Definitely returning when I come back to the Dells

Well-timed courses. Everything was excellent! Get the garbage salad as a fun and tasty addition to your meal. Don’t skip dessert! Expect to take leftovers home. Very large portions, especially the sides.

Appetizer of crab/shrimp cakes were the best we ever had. Fillet and lobster were amazing. The mushroom risotto was absolutely wonderful. The loaded mashed potatoes were pretty good as well. The brownie occasion dessert was fantastic. Overall it was the best meal we have ever eaten. It was also the most expensive meal we have ever eaten by far. Including tip with two adults and three kids, the meal was $365. I would recommend it to a friend for a special occasion.

Fantastic dining experience!! Everything was amazing from the appetizer to the dessert. Excellent preparation. Our server, Josiah, took us on an epic culinary adventure that we will never forget! We celebrated our 10th Anniversary here and our expectations were exceeded!

Food, drinks and service is outstanding. The restaurant is wonderful but the hotel is a dump. I think they should update their bathrooms. Just seemed like they haven't been touched since 1988.

Garbage salad was a wonderful first impression, followed by stuffed mushrooms that were very yummy. Lobster tails were a touch underdone (wouldn't easily let go of the tail not raw) but still good and the filet was cooked to perfection. Waitress Brianna I believe was her name, was absolutely fantastic, very helpful. The signature cocktail menu was also creative as well as fun. Wonderful date night

Had the 24oz lobster with filet and it was absolutely delicious. the escargot was so delicious and definitely worth a try. Our server was so nice and very attentive. I would definitely e coming back.

Food was amazing and the tiramisu martini was excellent. Would come back at some point in the future. A few things, the KC garbage salad, online it states it comes with the dinner, however we were each charged $6.00 for the salad. We ordered the Nueskes Bacon for one of the appetizers. It was good but lots of fat and then exactly what do you eat a big chunk of bacon with? So I would really not order again since we tasted a little, then took the rest home for breakfast. The crab and shrimp cake was extremely delicious. The balance of the ingredients was perfect. Usually I have had crab cakes and tasted mostly bread crumbs. Not these! We both had the filet mignon with oscar which was delicious and it melted in your mouth. Our leftovers the next day tasted just as good. Very tender and flavorful. The only negative for us was that the table next to us was very loud, had children that were loud and got out of their chairs to stomp around with the others at the table being totally distracted with their loud conversation - I mean loud! Also business casual for dress code??? People there were wearing jeans, shorts, hoodies, tennis shoes. To me this is no business casual dress. We just thought the facility would have been a little more fancier. All in all, we would for sure go back to dine here.

We have never been here before and we were out on date night...I couldn't have asked for better service and great food!! Would definitely recommend to our friends and family!!!

Absolutely wonderful.

We had a wonderful experience...the noise level was just fine, the food was exceptional and Jordan made us feel special! It was my birthday and he brought us a lovely dessert.
We will share this experience with everyone and will return , no doubt.

We have been here before. We thought it was a great place to go for our first meal out in a year due to covid. We were not disappointed, our service was great and the meal was excellent.

It was my birthday. I did not tell the restaurant this however. I reserved a seat in the “bar” as indicated on the reservation. We looked at the restaurant that day to anticipate where we’d be sitting, and I was excited to be sitting closer to the kitchen action. We get there (granted we were 2 minutes late) and thy didn’t have a seat for me, but had a corner table by the bar reserved for someone else more “special” I guess. I wanted to sit in that area so we sat at the bar. Couldn’t see any of the kitchen action though. He got steak and I got the grouper. The fish was not very good but I was hungry. He said his steak was “good but not as good as 5 OClock Strakhouse.” (Native Milwaukeeans will understand that reference). The highlight of the evening was a the smoked old fashioned. I’m giving them 3 stars overall just for that drink. Everything else was just “eh.” Thank you!

Very accomadating for six women who had different likes and dislikes.
Garbage salad was amazing and a great selection of toppings. The aged blue cheese was so delish.
The portions are very generous. Sharing a meal and sides and a?salad left us all filled and taking home some leftovers. I can't wait to go back.

Jerri was our waitress and she was great! Very personable and knowledgeable. We came from out of town for my boyfriend's birthday, but if we are ever in the area again, we would come back. Highly recommend!

Great food with large proportions. Worth the money

We were a large group with kids. The two wait staff that took care of us were wonderful. From the reservation to dessert everything was perfect. We came from 3.5 hours away, but anytime we are near the Dells we will be back!

Had the family here in the Dells for a weekend and spent our evening at Kaminskys. The food and staff are excellent! The pricing is about the same as most downtown chop houses. It’s worth a visit but anticipate paying more than normal

We went to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday. The experience and food was amazing. The garbage salad was so good and I will be going back just for the salad. The service was great. It was teamwork to cover the tables. Jenny was our server and she was great.

Anniversary dinner and it was amazing! Large portions so don’t let the price scare you. Great atmosphere and staff. We will be back!

Service was great. The food was just OK. The steaks were not up to par for a steak house. I think the meats might have been choice not Prime.
