Kama offers fresh, bold modern Indian cuisine in downtown La Grange.

The father and son team of Manmohan and Vikram Singh have created a unique menu comprising of dishes from various regions of India and Indian inspired Americana. Following the tradition in Vikram's family kitchen, everything is made from scratch, to order and customized to your taste. The bar program, led by Agnes Kalusiewicz, infuses Indian spices and chutneys into scratch-made syrups, ensuring a unique and bold experience with every sip.

Kama symbolizes aesthetic pleasure of the senses – touch, smell, flavor, vision and sound. Food is our most intimate connection to nature and a source of everlasting memories.

We are usual customers where we order take out from time to time and their food has always been great. They usually do not do ayce except for special occasions. We’ve been to one a few years ago and the experience was great! However, yesterday’s experience was far from it. Buffet table looked great! Such a wide variety with labels and brief descriptions on some. However, quality control needed some serious looking in to. Both my daughter and I noticed some decent amount of long strands of hair in their salad. Also, one of the dishes had peanuts and my son had an allergic reaction which should have been labeled. Lastly, without and forewarning, there was a mass exodus of the buffet table….without any forewarning. Literally, in five minutes time everything was as gone. We will still be ordering from time to time but will be looking elsewhere to celebrate special occasions .

We were at the restaurant for the Mothers Day buffet. There was so much different foods and everything I had was tasty and fresh. Highly recommended

The food was fantast! The Lamb Vindaloo has just the right enough spices. My only request would be to lower the music so next time I can hear my wife speak to me across the table.
