   It was *ok* but cheese/birria tacos were hot and chicken enchilada verdes, served at the same time, were not. I was too hungry to talk to the waitress about it. Maybe better just ordering tacos ala carte? Chips were hot and Salsa tasty. Skinny (low sugar) Kalaveras margarita was good. We didn't like watching videos of DJ in TVs. Next time will try to find seating to avoid them.

   Celebrated my dads 74th birthday. Food was awesome; drinks were great! Noise level could have been a bit lower. Music is awesome but we couldn’t hear each other talk. We did ask to sit outside and waitress offered to turn down music, she’d have to ask the manager, she never got back to us on it. Other than that I would return but ask to be seated outside, music isn’t as loud outside.

    Hubby had been wanting to try a molcajete for the longest. I came across Kalaveras & seen it had such great reviews on the molcajete, so I made reservations. Did not disappoint! It was so good. The vibe, drinks, & service was all on point. The staff is very friendly & attentive. Will definitely be returning!

    We sat at the bar on a Wednesday & our bartender was amazing! He was very attentive, our drinks were on point, & he picked the right food for us to eat! We even had another customer buy us a round of shots because of the bartenders great customer service!

    Extremely noisy, not the customers, but the audio playing from two large overhead displays. We were a foursome, but conversation was difficult. We asked if the volume could be turned down so we could converse easier. If anything, they made it louder. Also I was at a table facing strings of lights around the windows that were constantly flashing. After dark, those were very annoying flashing in my eyes. We went to this place for dinner, not to disco. The busboy was attentive, but service from the server was poor.

    The food was delicious! It is very authentic Mexican food and every dish was great! The tacos gobernador are amazing! Must try! Drinks were great! We ordered margarita flights. The noise level was a high inside. Just be prepared for lots of reggaetón. Overall the experience was fantastic and would recommend!

    It was ok, the drinks are good. Not sure if I would eat there again. We had Asada plate and green enchilada plate, tortillas felt like they were not cooked properly, they had a hard under cooked texture. Overall the vibe was good, waiting staff and host are very friendly and nice. FYI there were allot flies around the eating area due to doors and open concept.

    Service was great, food was delicious. The patio is cute abs quiet EXCEPT when people have annoying dogs that continue to bark. But that’s not something that the restaurant can prevent. Maybe they should post patrons with service dogs only. Just a suggestion.

    I chose this place because it looked bright and loud, which is my go to when I have my kiddos with me. It did not disappoint! They were mesmerized with all the decor and as it got dark, the black lights came on and gave them a whole new scene to look at and love. The music was great, the food was awesome but the drinks...phenomenal! The mezcal with mango and dragon fruit was awesome! Ended up ordering a couple of those! My husband tried the flight of margaritas and was really impressed. We will definitely visit again next time we are in LA.
