Food was good, but a little pricy on some things. The drinks were too expensive, in my opinion, so we didn’t get any. My go-to is a Cadillac Margarita, but I didn’t see anything even closely resembling that on the menu. But the food portions were pretty solid and would definitely come back for the happy hour menu/prices. Just know that they have a giant screen and many tvs playing music videos and it’s quite loud, even when the people inside aren’t. Not an environment conducive to conversation, but that’s not what they’re going for. It’s a fun, vibrant scene and definitely worth a visit. Birria tacos were good, but not amazing. The verde enchiladas with rice and beans and the chips and salsa were all very good. Service was good and we were treated well.

Celebrated my birthday here & I had funnn ! The Venue was so cute! Even the BATHROOM was a vibe ! The Mexican candy shot & margarita flight was the bomb !

The food was garden fresh. Nachos were beautifully arranged and delicious. The Birra Tacos are off the chart. Absolutely delicious with a great consummate. Service was a little slow and disorganized.

Loved this experience! This was my second time eating at a Kalaveras (though my first at the Long Beach location) and it was everything I was hoping it’d be! Kali Burrito (add shrimp) was delicious! And the pitchers of beer were so cold and crisp! Server was amazing and attentive. 10/10. I only was slightly annoyed about the parking situation but that had nothing to do with the business. I recommend giving yourselves 10-15 mins to find a decent spot.

First, I hate to give any negative reviews because I know people work hard- but I need to get this message thru to the restaurant so they can improve and get a message out to future patrons with little kids to tell them not to come. Easter Sunday after church- We were excited to try the restaurant in Long Beach and were sat in front of a large TV screen. It was so loud we could not hear ourselves talk. Mostly what we watched were Bad Bunny and Pit Bull videos with twerking girls kissing each other. I was so embarrassed and sick my kids had to eat while staring at that. Come on people, I get it- It's loud, It's latin music- but you get a bad review from me for having no thought put into this. Pretty gross and it cheapens your establishment. DON'T BRING KIDS, unless you're trying to expose them to this type of thing while they eat. In bad taste.....

This was my godchild’s second birthday, and we wanted a place where the family could enjoy great food and have a nice time. This place food quality, environment, and way to celebrate special occasions exceeded my expectations! I will definitely return here whenever visiting Long Beach

We didn’t get our menus when we sat down and I guess our waiter hadn’t noticed so he came to take our order and asked us what we wanted without even noticing we didn’t have menus. Then the waiter said the bartender lost his bottle opener which sounds absurd so we had to order a different drink. How did they not have an additional bottle opener? That was interesting. I personally don’t like when the waiter who hasn’t come by to fill our water is all of the sudden readily available to pick up the signed check and does so when we’re still sitting there. I think it’s okay to wait until we leave.

Had a 14 person lunch for my husband's 40th and the service was great, staff was very attentive and never had us waiting for a drink or a food order. they also surprised him with sparklers and dessert and a birthday song which we didn't expect and he enjoyed! the food was also great which, as a Mexican, I was a little worried about but I loved it.

At first I thought it was empty because the location is new then I realized it’s because they don’t serve brunch. That wasn’t listed on the reservation or told to us when we arrived and it was a large party we were very dissatisfied to have to get lunch. Service was nice though.

We couldn't have a conversation at our table without yelling at each other and there was only low dimmed colored lights. Our drinks came after our food (but they did warn us the bar was behind). However, the food was very good!
