Chef AZEUCHI trained in the art of Kaiseki Course cuisine in Japan for 16 years. Upon graduating
culinary school, he began studying Kaiseki Course at a hotel. When he turned 27, he became sous-
chef at Hotel Nogamiya.
While there, he participated in a Tokushima Culinary Contest, where he won first prize. When he
was 35 years old, he joined Tofu Kaiseki Restaurant as their head chef.
During this time, he also studied French cuisine for 3 years, training under a Head Chef who had on-
the-job experience working in a prestigious French fine dining restaurant.
Chef Azeuchi quickly became the sous chef in the restaurant. When Japanese Crown Prince
Naruhito - now known as
"His Imperial Majesty the Emperor"- made a royal visit to Kagawa Prefecture, Chef Azeuchi
entertained him with his beautiful dishes.

One of our favorite restaurants im Las Vegas. The food and service is superb. Eating at the bar really makes the experience special as you get to watch the chefs prepare your meal. Top notch.

One of the Best kaiseki you can have outside of Japan. Awesome seasonal menu, creative yet hold Japanese to the cord. Friendly staff makes the dining experience more enjoyable. The dinning room allows you to see what chefs are working on, which is a great way to see how much work they put in to bring out each courses.

Outstanding flavors and textures stunningly presented. Chef took us through the tuna-forward June seasonal tasting menu, explaining each item and answering our questions as we sat at the counter watching him work. A delicious, entertaining, and educational birthday dinner.

This was our second experience at Kaiseki Yuzu. Simply put, the quality of the food and presentation is one of the best in the US, especially when you consider the price. Front of house service is attentive without being overbearing and they do an excellent job of explaining each dish. The restaurant ambiance is clean, quiet, and simple; a perfect foil to the extravagance of the restaurants on the Strip.

Sublime experience at Kaiseki Yuzu. We splurged on the month's special menu, which was expensive but we felt worth it for a decadently delicious and beautifully presented menu. (Their regular menu experience, which we've had in the past, is also terrific, just not quite as over-the-top.)
