As the sister restaurant to London icon Kai of Mayfair, Kai’s Songbird’s signature ‘liberated Nanyang cooking’ style has a global reputation, combining authenticity with culinary daring to create fusion experiences that define modern Chinese cuisine.

Kai’s Songbird sings from a new bough for the first time in Doha in a stunning glass-fronted restaurant whose aesthetics evoke the natural beauty of a conservatory. We went to Kai’s Songbird in Doha to celebrate our anniversary and had the most amazing experience! The atmosphere was beautiful and romantic, just right for a special occasion. Our favorite dish was the truffle mushroom bao buns. Not only did they taste incredible (so rich and flavorful!), but they were actually shaped like little mushrooms. Super cute and creative, we couldn’t stop talking about them! The staff made us feel really welcome and taken care of, and the whole evening just felt so thoughtful and well put together. Definitely lives up to its Michelin star. We’re already planning to go back!

The food at Kai Songbird was exceptional...... varied options and extremely tasty. Served in good time and by very pleasant and polite serving staff. I also appreciated that the music that was being played added to the atmosphere and did not intrude on the conversations we had. We sat outside which was air conditioned and this added to the very pleasant evening. Overall, I can only highly recommend this restaurant as a definite place to visit when in Doha.

The venue and location are beautiful, the service was attentive and the food very good on the whole. We were however not overly keen on the crispy duck and felt the portion was very small (it should have been a half duck but was only a leg).

Probably the best restaurant we’ve been to in Doha. Fabulous location, beautiful ambience and delicious food. Pricey but worth it! Great to celebrate a specially occasion (like I did for my 56th!). Highly recommended!

Absolutely excellent brunch from start to finish. This is one amazing restaurant our all time favourite. The food atmosphere ambience everything is second to none. Our server Marshal again could not of been more helpful. We certainly will be back if we are back in Doha
