The food was over-seasoned and not great. Guac was super garlicky, but good. The queso fundido was a little gritty, like the cheese was. My tacos were okay, but nothing phenomenal. Prickly pear margarita was fine. The plantains were awesome!! Flautas were good.
I loved the place and the atmosphere. Good service. The food was lackluster and random combos from Texas, Mexico, etc. Odd!
All around a solid "meh". Gave some things as pass as it was St. Patty's day but our server did not seem very busy with her tables and was generally pretty put out by our presence. When the runner brought out our food and placed it on the table, she reached across my plate to put down my friend's meal and the strings of her VERY dirty friendship bracelet went right across my taco. So gross. She did not seem concerned by it so seemed pointless to send it back, just scraped off the top layer. Overall, very sloppy presentation and service from staff in general. The green chile burger was underwhelming, the guacamole portion size was disappointing and the chips were no better than most store bought options. The one food highlight was the green taco, which I really enjoyed. I will stop in for a drink in the future and maybe a quick bite but definitely not for a whole meal - there are too many places nearby where the staff really wants to provide a great experience!
The drinks, queso, and tacos were fabulous! Skirt steak and scallops were ok but the sides were flavorless. Not work $25-28 per entree.
Wish their was a "depends" for the recommendation question. The foods is really so-so, but the ambiance and drinks are so strong that you can get over it if you're looking to eat with your eyes.
What a great evening! I arrived to my table with a personalized greeting note for me and my guests which just set the mood for our dinner. I highly recommend going for their restaurant menu - great options to choose from and 100% worth the bang for your buck!!
Food was very very good. Visited for restaurant week & were so happy we did! Fry bread street tacos & Christmas style enchiladas were ~muy bueno~. One of us was accidentally given the wrong dessert (we both ordered beignets) but the fruity flan was still tasty. Those chocolate beignets though... they were sent straight from heaven. No doubt we will be back!
Really good “fancy” Mexican food. The stacked chicken enchiladas are very tasty - but the portion is huge! Fry bread taco was excellent! Good guacamole.

It was really slow for going on a lunch hour. Had a reservation for 3 people at 11:15 and didn’t leave until 1.
The service was excellent! Our waitress was definitely one of the best! Everything we ordered was amazing. The only downside was the steak we ordered was quite burned on the outside for our liking. But other than that we enjoyed our experience and will definitely be going back again!

Came with a group of six and we loved the bottomless mimosas and build-your-own margarita bar, which you can switch between as you like for $15. Food was also great. My husband and I both had the breakfast burritos which, depending on how hungry you are, are big enough to share. Very tasty.
Our server, Jill, was absolutely amazing!! She really took the experience above and beyond. Thank goodness she recommended the fry bread for my tacos, because I’ve been dreaming about it ever since.
It was my first time and definitely won’t be my last! Not only did they have an amazing margarita bar but they made me feel so special on my birthday!
Great service and great food! They actually keep the lights up here, and it works. The space feels bright, high-energy, and expansive. The tacos on fry bread are fantastic.
There was one hiccup: they forgot the ice in my wife’s margarita, which left it too strong and syrupy, plus of course not cold. It was just a mistake, but unfortunately we didn’t realize that the two of us were having very different drink experiences until the end of the meal. We’ve come here before and the service is outstanding, so I wouldn’t read much into it unless it’s happening regularly.
Overpriced for the food you get. My quesadilla was soaked in butter and my sisters chicken was raw. Manager asked if she’d like him to toss it back in the frier instead of serving her a new piece. They had brown parchment paper as table cloths over nice marble tables which was strange. Server was inattentive. Will not go back.
This used to be one of my favorite places. However, the menu is now much reduced and the food was mediocre. Must be new management or new chef.
The menu description didn’t clearly say the taco salad was made with blazing hot salsa vs a normal semi-spicy dressing that you would expect. I like hot but it was so hot, I had to swap meals with my husband. The waiter noticed but didn’t even ask if there was an issue - I did ask what made the salad so hot when I first tried a bite but after a few bites it was uneatable - but since we had a gift card, I decided to not push the issue. I did hear the next table say the tacos were good....
Delicious interesting food, and fun cocktails. We grabbed a tasty dinner before heading to the theater. They will validate your valet parking so it costs $12 instead of $20. I will be back soon!
This restaurant is just OK. The food was too salty (scallops and Shrimp) and half the potatoes (served with the Salmon) were burnt. Margarita was good, Sangria not so much. Service was Fine. For the money there are lots better Mexican restaurants in Denver.
Unfortunately the food was pretty awful. The cocktails were also too sweet and tasted as though they were made with a store bought mixer rather then freshly made. The service and ambience were very good but definitely won’t be going back.
I wanted to like the food here but it all seemed below average. For starters, the salsa was watery and tasteless; the guacamole was pasty and bland; the chips tasted store-bought. Compare all these items to those at Machete or even Torchy’s, and they were subpar. Our table of four each had tacos. We gave highest marks to the shrimp taco with its pineapple salsa. The barbecue chicken was especially greasy. The fry bread also suffered from too much oil. Other tacos were perceived as good but not great. The rice and bean sides on the taco plates were also lacking in flavor and distinction.
The service was great and the atmosphere, both inside the restaurant and surrounding it in the Milk Market, is festive and fun. I think if the food were more nuanced and refined, this would be a great place to dine with friends.

Overall great place. I loved the environment and location. Menu is "tapas" style with lots of items costing around $5 so you can pick and choose multiple food items to try. I wasn't impressed with the fry- bread for the tacos but everything else was pretty tasty.
We went because they were open on Christmas Day. The ambiance was festive with nice service. The food was fine but not outstanding.
My Xmas special was very bad. I actually stood up and took it back to the kitchen. The Manager handled it very professionally, but overall it was extremely disappointing for a holiday. I will go back and try it again under different circumstances because I never believe in rating something on one visit.
Although I asked for a quiet table the noise was unbelievably loud so that we couldn't hear one another.

Food was super spicy even the taco salad. Food was nothing special and my partner and I went out for a second dinner just to end our date night on a high note.
We had a delightful experience at Kachina, our server was so attentive and just fun. The food was amazing, we had the crispy relleno which was on a bed of the best Cowboy Beans! The atmosphere is lively, energetic and fun with a good happy hour. We will be back!

We went to Kachina for the bottomless mimosa/margarita brunch and it didn’t disappoint! The drink selection for the special was excellent. The food was slightly overpriced for the quality but it wasn’t horrible. The taco deal was probably the best value on the menu. Bathrooms are very far from the actual restaurant so if you need accessibility this is not the place for you! Otherwise we had a good experience and are glad we brought our friends in for brunch.
Frequent the Kachina in Westminster but was downtown Denver on Thanksgiving so decided to give it a try. Magnificent! I had the Thanksgiving special. The green chili mashed potatoes were delicious. And the apple cinnamon margarita was a perfect compliment to the Thanksgiving meal. Hubby got the salmon and would order it again.

I found this place through a quick Google search for a place to grab dinner before going to a show at Summit. I'm so glad I was lucky enough to stumble upon Kachina! The food was amazing. The atmosphere was funky, light, and comfortable. Our waitress was outstanding and made some great recommendations. I highly urge you to try to skirt steak -- it does not disappoint! I will certainly be frequenting Kachina whenever I find myself in Denver.
The guacamole tasted like a $5 scoop from the package mixed with sweet corn from a can. While quite disappointed with the guacamole we ordered, the rest of the food and drink was great! Ambience was a little on the loud side...
Food was fresh and the cocktails were great. Very nice happy hour menu.
