   We generally have a good time at cabuto. The service was off today. So I won't say this is a general statement all the time, but yeah, it was notable that we were waiting for service quite a bit.

   We arrived for our dinner reservation to be told the air conditioning was broken in the dining room and it was about 98 degrees at the hibachi table. So we had to eat our hibachi dinner for my husbands bday without the show and the family was incredibly disappointed. Someone should have called me so we could reschedule. It was to late when everyone arrived there. No meal was comped or price adjustments were made. Very disappointing for our first (and last) visit.

   We hadn't been to Kabuto in over a year. It looks like they refreshed the inside decor a bit, so that was nice. The food quality was good, and our hibachi chef was very skilled, fun and engaging. It's always a good time at the chop, chop, sizzle, sizzle!

   We enjoyed the food and restaurant for dinner. Service was good and the restaurant was clean. Our table cook was very good and there is a generous amount of food. I wish they had a better selection of saki.

   My son and I were looking for an AYCE sushi place and Kabuto Hibachi Sushi was one of the first to pop up. reading the reviews and considering it's location in Rockville Town Center we decided to give it a try. I'm glad we did. We made a reservation for 5:30, but the dinner rush had not started so we had a pick of tables. We let the staff know we were there for the AYCE special. We were seated and our server, Melissa, brought us water and explained we had to scan the QR code on the table menu stand. We also had a printed menu with the AYCE selections, and it was quite extensive. The food was very good. Some unique dishes. Everything was made to order. We had 4 regular rolls and 4 specialty rolls (all Dragon rolls of some type) also gyoza, flaming tuna ships, french fries, sesame mochi balls ... yummy, We did not try any of the hibachi selections .... that will be for the next time we go! It was $36 a person and considering how much we ate, well worth it.

   Our chef had a terrific presence and looked to connect with us. He made the experience very enjoyable.

    We had a fun birthday celebration. The food was amazing and Layla. Our server was great and our chef was also great. It was a lot of fun.
