Food was average, fish was too cold.
Came here with my FIL, great spot for a nice, casual dinner—excellent sushi and massive selection!
Perfect for lunch during a conference. Not fancy!
The sushi was decent, the environment was a little lacking, but not at all unhappy with the experience
Our favorite sushi restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious & the freshest of fish! The presentation is beautiful! The staff is wonderful! Cannot wait to return!
Very fresh sushi. Place is small. Wait staff attentive and friendly. We arrived for our reservation and were seated promptly.
Fast attentive service and great sushi.
Our favorite sushi restaurant! Freshest sushi. Beautiful presentation! Servers are wonderful!
Despite making a reservation, did not actually get seated until 10 minutes after my reserved time. Apparently they also ran out of diet soda. Food was fine.
Our favorite sushi restaurant! Always the freshest sushi & beautiful presentation! The servers are wonderful!
Good food and good service. Pretty small place, but, able to get in without a problem.
Wonderful family dinner for 5 adults and two kids. Absolutely loved it, and will be back. Great quality sushi. Great service.
Our friends came in from San Francisco & wanted sushi. All 8 of us loved everything!! The sushi/sashimi was so delicious, fresh & plated beautifully! The server was fantastic!! It is our favorite sushi restaurant & go there often. We will be back!
Our favorite sushi restaurant! Sushi is always fresh & delicious. The presentation is outstanding!!The servers are so wonderful!
Always fantastic!! Freshest sushi & fantastic servers! Our favorite sushi place in Chinatown!
Always the most delicious sushi & the freshest! Our favorite!
The food was excellent and it was great that it was BYOB. It is a very small restaurant and that made it hard to navigate, walk around, go to the bathroom etc. The biggest problem was the fact that we had an 8:00pm reservation and had to wait until almost 9:00pm to be seated. Speaking to other people that were waiting in line we found out that there were three 8:00pm reservations made for a restaurant that only has 6 tables. That’s bizarre and says to me that they don’t manage their reservation system properly.
All that being said, I would return for dinner because it is affordable and the sushi is good.
The food was great. The restaurant was tight seating, but given it's in the city, I only took 1 star off for that, even though that caused the noise level to be elevated. Service lost a star because they forgot one person's food and it came out after everyone else was done. We did get there early and they were able to accommodate getting us a table before our actual reservation time with just a small wait. I'd go back if in the area.
Always fantastic! The food is the freshest! Server was wonderful! Our favorite sushi place!
Obnoxious guests talking about inappropriate things... We're not quieted down by staff. Chef in the back and server were of Hispanic origin... Not exactly what you hope to see when going for Japanese sushi
Disappointing experience. Very crowded with teenagers. Tables are crammed into a small space. Cold air flows into the restaurant everytime someone opens the door. No liquor license - so no sake or beer. Service was spotty. Had to ask for refills of tea. Took a long time to clear dishes from the table. I felt sorry for the servers as the squeezed their way past and between the tables.
If you want a quick bite of sashimi, Kabuki is a great option. The staff was very attentive and accommodating too.
Great food! Hibachi could be slightly hotter!
We were first time diners. Our group enjoyed the experience. The sushi was fresh and there was a wide variety from which to pick. The space was a bit cramped and a touch noisy. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and will visit again.
Staff was very accommodating, even going out of their way to get us all seated, comfortable, and taken care of. Food was great, atmosphere is fun, and it's BYOB. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants good sushi, a fun atmosphere, and a kind staff.
Good Experience, Good selection in the menu. Menu is a bit complicated for such a small Restaurant < 15 tables.
Will be back
Food portion was so small for the price in comparison to any other restaurant in town. In a empty restaurant you will sit and wait a long time for food. Waiting 45 minutes for sashimi is too much. Not coming back at all.
While this was billed as "romantic" it was hardly romantic. However the sushi was moderately priced, fresh and delicious.
City of Philadelphia shut down during the snow storm. Was looking for a place to eat lunch with family since we were there for trip. Great place, service, food. Excellent place to eat.
The service was amazing! The food was great!
Small dining room was a little claustrophobic and the music was way too loud.
Service was terrible. Waitress was surly.
First time at Kabuki Sushi. Passed it many times and had a sushi craving as most people do. The food was reasonably priced and had good variety. The chicken yakatori was well cooked. The Mango Shrimp roll was refreshing and the Pink Lady Roll held up to its label as being jumbo. Some better places in the city, but definitely a great option in the Center City area.
Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable about the selections and provided us with suggestions that were great! We've eaten here before and the Marriott Roll is one of our favorites. Great casual joint...don't expect candles and table clothes but the fish was fresh and the rolls tasted good.
Not fancy but clean and very good, creative sushi. It is BYO!
Perfectly okay. Rolls generally bland. Okay for a business lunch.
