The food is always good and the service is excellent. Best of all, it is not noisy and enables you to have a conversation with the people you are dining with. Also, you are never pushed out even though you are having an extended lunch.

Came in to celebrate my birthday with 25 people. They were extremely slow at taking orders, they seemed to be pushy to get as many drinks into people as they could before any food orders were taken. Then food showed up extremely late and slowly. It seemed as thought they only had 1 burner because it took 5-10 mins between plates. You were done eating by the time the person sitting next to you got their food. Terrible experience . I would never come back here for a special event.

Service was excellent, food arrived promptly and was very fresh. Only issue was that the sushi rice could’ve been a bit softer but other than that, no complaints!

Every item we ordered was burning hot! Not spicy, just temperature wise, too hot. I still have burns on the roof of my mouth from the agedashi tofu, the chipotle lobster makimono, the sushi pizza and the kabuki wings! My husband too has the same injuries. Last time I was here, I didn't recall having this unpleasant experience. Not sure what happened between now and then. I think I was here in 2015 May or June. Also the television screens above the bar give the feeling of a sports bar rather than an upscale dining experience. I think it's really gone downhill since the first time I was here. A bit disappointed since I was talking it up a lot for my hubby who was not impressed after that dinner date.

We have found a new gem. The food was so fresh and flavoured perfectly. Pace of service was just right. We will most definitely be back.
