Uniquely styled, Hemel Hempstead’s K2 Balti House is situated on Two Waters Road, close to the banks of the river and between the very centre of Hempstead and the smaller area of Apsley. You won’t miss the restaurant - an imposing white painted lodge with pillared entrance and statement blue neon exterior lighting, eye catching design with a very modern style, continuing in to the dining room where comfort meets chic in the most dynamic of ways. Views out to pretty countryside scenery are enjoyed in the conservatory area while outdoor decking provides lovely al fresco dining away from the hubbub of the town centre. Service is extremely personable here at K2 with staff trained to a high level to provide professional but warm service, and well versed in the unique menu of Kashmiri and Indian specialties. K2 not only offers your favourite curries, baltis and other Indian dishes but more unusual offerings, providing a fresh and flavourful choice for the more adventurous Eastern food fan.

Been here before a few years ago with my partner and service was bad... however when we went this time it was a different story... impeccable friendly service and amazing food, it was all cooked to perfection and came hot! Cannot fault this place on this occasion at all!請問這對你有幫助嗎？

Beautiful setting. Delicious food. The backyard is so lovely to sit and look at and the food was quite good. Portions were usual fare for Indian cuisine so it was easy to share. We had 2 vegetarians in our group and the selection for veggies was very good. Try the monkfish. It was the best.請問這對你有幫助嗎？

The restaurant didn't have my reservation even though I made it through open table so there was waiting around. The waiters were not attentive. The service was very slow and the food wasn't that great. I found the waiters quite standoffish because we were Asian and could understand their language but they tried to make it like they couldn't understand. I went with my parents who are in their 60's as they wanted to try out something different from home cooking. I would not go there again.請問這對你有幫助嗎？

The best Indian restaurant in Hemel. Great food, really knowledgeable and helpful staff. I had group of European colleagues unfamiliar with Indian food, and staff suggested a set menu which was a great selection. A huge success. Highly recommended.請問這對你有幫助嗎？

Food always full of interesting flavours - definitely no heavy fat-laden one-sauce-suits-all dishes! Smart, helpful and plentiful staff. Lovely setting in the rear room. Portions generous and dishes well executed so don't expect bargain price - it's very fair given the quality!請問這對你有幫助嗎？

The K2 restaurant staff, food, ambiance where all brilliant. There was nothing whatsoever to complain about. Your food will be cooked to YOUR specification. Nothing else to say but excellent all round. Will definitely visit again and recommend to many others.請問這對你有幫助嗎？

This restaurant is amazing, beautiful food, good drink selection stellar service, the only thing that let our visit down was charging so much for poppadoms we didn't order! We were provided with 6 poppadoms upon arrival, then charged £6.30 for them, I don't mind paying for them at all, but I think that amount for items we didn't order is excessive. Apart from that I cannot fault the restaurant- staff are so friendly and welcoming the food is great and the setting is beautiful, I would definitely reccomend to anyone, but make them aware of the poppadoms!!請問這對你有幫助嗎？

10 of us went to the K2 for my daughter's "1st Birthday. Our Mums were met at their car and helped in to the restaurant. We had a round table overlooking lovely gardens. This was our first visit to the K2 and we all had a wonderful time; the waiters were polite and friendly,the food was excellent and very good value. A lovely finish to the evening was when the lights were turned down and a cake brought out for me daughter's Birthday! We will definitely be going back for a second helping !請問這對你有幫助嗎？
