Best Restaurant Ever
I had a great birthday with my husband at JWB, the food and service was good, and the restaurant itself is beautiful.
That it was very nice a little expensive and they would not serve children's menu to my child my child was under 12 they could not get a child's menu portion had to be an adult order very disappointing
Disappointment. We had been wanting to try this restaurant when we saw that it was "coming soon". We were excited to treat our special neighbors to a nice evening out with great steaks. Luckily we ordered some appetizers that helped fill us up, since the steaks were not what we expected. We ordered oysters, sushi rolls, sashimi, and jalapeno deviled eggs. All were exceptional except the deviled eggs were sour. Both our neighbors and us each ordered boned in ribeyes and Wagyu special steaks. Ours were to be Pittsburgh style, and our neighbors ordered theirs both Medium. The Pittsburgh Style boned in rib-eye was given to our friend who was praying she wouldn't see a raw piece of meat. But she did. They mixed up the ribeyes. A side of scallops was ordered for the Pittsburgh style ribeye, but came out late. The side of 3 scallops were fishy! The Pittsburgh style steaks were not charred and the Wagyu steak was cold. The Medium Wagyu steak was equally not enjoyed by our dear neighbor. He chose that over the Tomahawk, but in hindsight we feel that probably wouldn't have been very good either. Our waiter was very nice. No complaints about him and the service he provided. The food was very disappointing for the price, and it was not pleasant trying to figure out who got what cut of meat; since they all looked the same prior to being cut. We also ordered Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes and mac n cheese, and then four desserts and two coffees. We enjoyed a bottle of Taken wine, which we enjoyed. We should have taken our neighbors to Outback Steakhouse; would still have had a great time with them, but would have enjoyed a much better meal at a fraction of the price.
BEST ceviche I have ever had. Incredible service and amazing food. JWB is nice and upscale, but not stuffy at all. I would absolutely come back!
Everything was great, food, service atmosphere but a little pricey
It was very convenient as we stayed in the hotel. Super friendly bartender who couldn’t have been nicer and great waitress. Steak was really good and we got the grouper that someone supposedly spear caught in Jupiter Fl, along with the chicken dish a and we all shared.
This place was really great. The waiter provided a good service! The filet mignons were cooked as we asked.
Nice ambience, mediocre food. Waitress was great but upon arrival we were yelled at that we hadn’t told them we were down a person in our party, even though we let them know via phone. The same gentleman who yelled at us then left a rude message while we were dining that we didn’t come to our
Everything about our experience was excellent. The service and food were beyond wonderful! We will definitely be back.
Overall as usual an excellent experience. My wedge salad was very good as was my steak aunt pouvre. However my wife's hogfish was a little overdone and dry. May have been got the filet was pretty thin. Had a nice bottle of red wine. The service as usual is great.
Amazing food and wonderful dinning experience.
This is our favorite restaurant. We brought our daughter and her fiance for a celebratory dinner. They had the Seafood Tower, I had the bone in ribeye, and my wife had the chicken. All were perfectly prepared. The Caesar salad here is the best we've ever had. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Our server was excellent and food was great. Once again JWB did not disappoint.
Service and food was excellent. You definitely get what you pay for. Was just a little too dark in the room. But hardly a negative.
Not sure why we were seated at the worst table in the restaurant ( the first table in the middle) when we asked for another table we were moved to the second table. We were there for a romantic dinner and we prearranged this - mind you, the restaurant was virtually empty and remained so fir our entire dining experience. Not happy with the table we asked the waiter if we could move and he gladly changed us but them the maitre d glared at us the entire evening.
We were also charged for the “complimentary” birthday cake.
Never received our salads, food was cold. They did offer and give us a free dessert.
Great expectations before we arrived. Hostess was extremely unfriendly and in no way welcoming. She even marked us as "No Shows"!! Service was great and food lived up to their reputation - excellent, fresh and interesting. Overall, enjoyable once we got passed the "Gatekeeper".
I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. There was hardly anyone eating in it. The food is so overpriced and it wasn’t even worth it. I would pass and eat at the other restaurants.
This was the 6th time I’ve dined @JWB’s. Food is great, service is great. Unfortunately this last visit the waiter put in the wrong order and my husband had to wait on his Filet! The manager did buy him a drink and apologized. BUT, for the 2nd time, your Host(the old man) U have greeting people was rude! He is not helping your guest service!!
The food was absolutely amazing!!! I would definitely go back and encourage people to try it...
Great food. Not cheap by any means, but you get what you pay for. The house ribeye was amazing.
Our reservation was at 1015, apparently that is not a good time to get there because they close at 11. Our server practically rushed the whole dining experience. The bus boy tried to remove our appetizers while we were still working on them because the waitress was closely following with our main course. They ended up placing all the plates on the the table therefore crowding what little space we had. The staff was literally staring at us from across the dining room as if they were saying "come on guys we need to go home". Perhaps if we had arrived earlier it would have been different. Also they never offered to validate our parking, when I went for my car I was charged 35.00 for valet. I went back to the restaurant and the doors were locked. Jimmy you need to groom your staff if you are going to charge those prices!!!!!!!!
The service is always fantastic, restaurant food wasn’t as tiptop as years past, beet goat cheese salad very mediocre . Chicken very good, desserts too!
A great local go to for a really pleasant evening out.
Great food and our server was excellent. Not the restaurant’s fault, but the party next to us brought at least 5 kids who were pretty young. It’s really not a kid friendly place. Now I say this having a 4 year old and a 2 year old myself so it’s not that I’m against kids, I’m just against parents who are oblivious. But nevertheless we had a great experience.
Fist lobster hash/ burnt ! Second lobster hash/ frozen cold in the center (ice). Desert was 1 slice of key lime pie (27min) to deliver to table. This has been my favorite place in Hollywood until now. I dont understand what is happening. $350 with wine and disappointing. Wow you guys get it together.
First time as a local - everything was good - probably higher priced then needed.
Excellent food! Excellent service! Our waiter treated us like royalty and made great recommendations!
Beautiful food, great quality and service. Will be back
It’s not worth the money. 80 dollars for a Surf n Turf including gratuity is just way too much. It wasn’t better than any other similar dishes I’ve had on other restaurants.
Need to improve service
Everything was perfect --cocktail, steak prepared to perfection, service impeccable.
They did a nice job accommodating my group of 15, however they only assigned one server to our table making the service very slow. Was out of the daily market fish by 8pm...place was 3/4 empty. Food was average at best and definitely not worth the price.
Food was good, not grand. Had to ask for drinks that were ordered several times. Had to ask for silverware and never received water glass refills.
We asked for a little bit more salad (that was a side already) since our king crab legs were not fully cracked and were charged for a full side salad without advance notice.
The host stand was a bit uptight and were terse since they couldn't find our Open Table reservation. They were quick to make us feel that it was our fault. However, I had the confirmation and they concluded it was an issue with their system on their end.
The food was good, the service was alright. But overall, if they don't get friendlier and quicker staff, then I feel people will select GG's and Billy's Crabs or the local 15th Street Fisheries.
Waiter forgot to bring our appetizers
Rice in the main dinner totally undercooked
Waiter forgot to bring drinks that we ordered
I usually don’t post a bad review but this time I had to
I had the snapper it was dry the little potatoes or dry the French onion soup was really really sweet overall not a good experience
Service and food were excellent. Ordered the lobster tails that were one of the top I’ve ever had. The special steak dish of of the day was also on our top list that my partner ordered. The sides, the appetizers, and the chocolate dessert was to die for. The waiter was superb. The overall experience was fantastic and we will return as we are locals and there are no places like this in our (this) neighborhood.
First time staying at Margaritaville. The traffic was going to be a nightmare getting to our place on Key Biscayne due to the Ultra Music Festival so we decided to spend the night. Met friends for dinner and everything was wonderful! Thank you. We will be back.
Always like to go back and have a good meal in a nice ambiance.
