Beautiful, quiet,COVID safe restaurant in Marriott LAX. Delicious food well prepared and beautifully presented. 2 in our party had the sea bass and 2 had steaks. Both enrees were cooked to perfection. Side dishes offered variety and generous portions. When in LA near the airport we will certainly dine at JW Steakhouse again
The Lamb chops were cooked just right and it was a healthy helping, the green and white asparagus was delightful, and was enough for too. Best part was the drink FIT FOR King, definutly a new fave drink of mine. All and all it was a great birthday dinner
Orrible experience, we will never came back there!!
Augustine was an excellent waiter. We were also greeted by a lovely hostess.
Excellent steakhouse and superb service. Would highly recommend.
Overall a very nice dinner. Our waiter, Elvis, was superb - he went above and beyond to make our experience 100% positive.
Waiter was great and the food and drinks were fantastic.
Considering this was a last minute option on New Year's eve, we were very pleased and happy with our overall dining experience - from the tasty dishes and the great service, we will definitely be back.
Our waiter, Willie, was outstanding. The hostess was questionable… all three of them. The kitchen fell behind. We waited over an hour for the main course. Once served the food was good. Willie saved the dinner by deeply discounting the meal without our asking.
Great service from entire staff. Warm, welcoming, prompt, unrushed service.
New year’s eve dinner and it was great. One of the best dinner experiences we have had since Covid started.
Excellent service. High prices. My sea bass was dry and not even a speck of parsley as garnish. Asparagus a bit tough. Cioppino was good and my friend said her French onion soup was really nice. Loved the bread basket with soft pretzels.
As always the team at JW blew us away with their service and the quality of our meals. We mentioned that we were celebrating a milestone birthday in our group and the staff surprised us with a special dessert. The new menu is spectacular!
60$ filet asked rare plus came out medium over cooked. Side veg. Grilled and bone dry. Desert good. Waiter pleasant.
Get the bone marrow it’s fabulous!!!
Ordered lamb chops and the presentation was sub par and there was an excessive amount of pepper on them. The drinks were good. Crab cake was good.
The service was attentive and responsive, but efficient and not intrusive.
The food was prepared well, visually attractive, and delicious.
Not really a steakhouse that is expert at steaks ! Not a dining experience that was worth the price. Surprisingly poor.
For an expensive steakhouse, I thought the ambience would be a lot nicer. The place was packed and the service was horrible. The food was ok but not equal to the price.
Dinner with family during their layover. My rib eye was good , nothing spectacular. The giant potato was better than expected but the asparagus was over salted. Slightly pricier than it probably should be but definitely one of the better restaurants in the LAX area. Oh and the chocolate ice cream is really good.
Will definitely be back when we travel to LA!!!
The food was really great; the filet mignonette was cooked to perfection, and the scallop appetizer was delicious
The staff (waiter was Willie) was attentive and friendly.
We really enjoyed our evening.
All the food was amazing, and the service was stellar as usual. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
We had a very pleasant experience here. Our waiter was very nice, attentive, and the food was all excellent! Didn’t expect this from an airport hotel restaurant to be honest. Definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone!
Very nice! Excellent service, variety of menu options, delicious food and large portions. We had a lovely dinner of octopus salad, lobster bisque, fillet, lobster tail, potato, and peach cobbler. Excellent wine list. Can’t wait to eat here again.
Some of the best food I’ve had.
Staff was great, atmosphere was nice.
Great steak perfectly prepared. Cauliflower was not so good, but it was taken off my bill. Pretzel rolls are addictive!
Came to dinner here for my birthday. The service, food, dessert and ambiance was first class.
The food was very delicious. The appetizer that we ordered wasn’t what we expected, so it wasn’t included in our bill, which was awesome on our servers part. My husband finally got the steak that he was craving. My fish was cooked to perfection and our drinks were made perfectly. I just wanted to add, Grace was our waitress and she made our dinner even that much better.
Great meal…Lisa-san was fab server.
The ambiance and staff are excellent. At $55 just for just the filet was pricey and the quality was just not what I expected. Every thing else was a wonderful experience. We will come back.
Very good food and the server was outstanding. Will eat here anytime I am here.
It was a great experience dinning at the JW Steakhouse. Food is amazing and the service is unparalleled. Thank you for attention.
The scallops appetizer was amazing. My steak was cooked perfectly. Service was fast (Late seating) and outstanding
While the meal was delicious, the waitstaff were the stars of the show. Very professional and very courteous. I feel bad as I am hoping I am remembering his name correctly, but Elvis? (Sorry again if I am wrong) was magnificent. Again, the meal was delicious and the restaurant is conveniently located in the hotel.
The steak was cooked well. Seasoning was missing on one end, but the part that was seasoned was really good. Sides were delicious.
We had a great dinner at JW for our 5 year anniversary. We were off to Mexico the next day, so the LAX Marriott could not be more convenient. I have always been a fan of the JW Steakhouse and they have really spruced it up with new renovations and revamped menu. It was a quiet night, so our awesome server introduced us to our chef, as well. Our steaks and wine started out trip off in good taste.
Seafood bouillabaisse was very good and so was the sea bass but the asparagus and mushroom sides were not. The bread was great along with the butter. The service was okay had to ask for water and bread. The prices were higher than the menu price along with everything else.
Delicious food prior to a concert-fast, courteous and delicious.
In town for the Eagles concert and felt like having steak and we happened upon a great steakhouse right at the hotel we were staying. We split the filet mignon and it was very tasty. Our server was also incredibly attentive and deserves a thumbs up for the service she provided. The only disappointment was the mushrooms we ordered had a peculiar taste, but could have just been because they were different than what we were expecting. All in all, a very nice steakhouse with great service.
