Love the entire experience!
Our waiter Mark seemed attentive at first but then started lacking interest at the end. Never checked up on us to see how we were doing and no gtatitude at the end of our meal after paying. I guess the automatic 18% tip creates no incentive. The Chile bass was lacking quite allot of flavour from what I remembered in the past. The focus seemed more on presentation than quality by the abundance of paper bag compared to the ratio of fish. Roy's Chile Bass is far superior and gladly worthy of the price. The Scottish salmon also did not not have the consistency and content from I know being from the UK. My wife who eats like a bird, even complained about the portion sizes. The positives of our evening - the hostesses (very accommodating), the drinks, and the atmosphere.
Went there for Miami spice and it was awesome !
Service was great and food just amazing !
Don’t get me started on the ambience! The DJ aid the best!
The Miami Spice Menu was chosen perfectly (the Lamb is amazing), the drinks always surprising and the service as usual, impeccable !
Juvia is no longer what it was supposed to be. Once again the management need to pay attention to all detail that were the early success of this unique restaurant. This include: host welcoming you, overall cleanness, quality of food, and manager lack of responsibility. Fortunately our waiter did an amazing job
Went for brunch for my wife's birthday 9/20/20, brunch was delicious smoked salmon and 30 dollars unlimited mimosas and add a beautiful South Beach view couldn't ask for more. Definitely will be back for an evening dinner...
The view is beautiful, the inside restaurant is loud and it’s hard to had a quick and relaxing dinner . The food is very disappointing no taste at all we order de ny strip and the grouper fish and wasn’t tasty at all and more for the price. you can get better meat and better prices even at smith& willensky. The good point would be the view and the drink aren’t bad. Never again
Overall our experience was outstanding. The view, service and hospitality were lovely. We were celebrating our one year anniversary and tremendously enjoyed our experience. The service and ambiance were very refined but also extremely warm and welcoming. Cocktails were very creative and fun. I felt that our meal was a great value considering the amazing quality of the food. I would recommend this place for good food, cocktails and celebrations. Views are spectacular if you sit indoors or outdoors. We will be back again.
Beyond amazing . View was spectacular, food , drinks and service were great not a single complaint can’t wait to go baxk
An excellent place to go for good food and service. Views are really good if you arrive before dark and are romantic after dark.
My only SERIOUS criticism is the music. During our entire 90 minutes, we heard nothing but rhythm. No tunes of any kind. Unimaginative. The sound was disruptively loud, and I was told they had a DJ there. He should be fired on the spot. I thought I was sitting in a low-quality discotheque. What a shame/domage/schade/lastima.
As mentioned, this could be a very nice, romantic place if they played nice music. Acoustic guitars, Diana Kroll, Sinatra, latin ballads, you know what I mean.
I'm tempted to say NO to the recommendation but the food and service were so good, I have to say yes.
If you are in Miami Beach to try out Miami Spice, as we do every year, then make this your #1 choice. Excellent service (thank you Maria R for your advice and attention!), great views, lively atmosphere, and most importantly an excellent Miami Spice menu. I recommend the shrimp starter and the lamb shank entree. Unlike a lot of other high end restaurants around here, Juvia promotes and seems enthusiastic in you trying out their Spice offerings. Highly recommended!
Great view! Amazing service.
Food was ok but great drinks
Delicious and excellent
Amazing! Food was great, views were even greater
A very good restaurant with high quality food, uniquely situated on a rooftop, with outdoor dining and nice views, which provides a sense of safety in the COVID era. The inside area was packed, however, so I wouldn’t feel safe sitting inside, every table full. The outside does have a retractable roof, which they were able to close when it started raining, which was nice. Service was not as attentive as it should have been. Water glasses were never filled, and had to really wave my arms for the waiter to fill them. Also, waiter did not ask to fill my wine glass until the meal was done (thanks, but no thanks).
We were rushed through and we were neglected by the waiter a lot/not very attended to.
I understand times have changed & restos are evolving to Covid 19 times, but food wasn’t at the caliber I expect from Juvia. But what made it truly unpleasant was that the music was so loud that my dinner party had to scream at each other to be able to have conversations. When the music is shaking the room, then it’s too loud for an establishment that’s suppose to be chill, sexy, lounge vibes.
We had a great meal. Juvia never disappoints.
Good place to visit! Food, drinks, service are good Not such a great view though.
Fantastic rooftop location, great cocktails, music mix, and Miami Spice 2020 (prix fixe menu) made for a memorable first night in Miami Beach
I would have given it 5 stars all around but we had to ask for the Prosecco that was supposed to come with the reservation. All the other patrons that were seated were served their bottles immediately upon being seated. Other than that, everything was great!
Awesome first experience! Beautiful view, server had honest recommendations, food was flavorful and presented so nicely.
The service was fine. Except for when it came time to leave. Even though I had my credit card out on the table it took 15 minutes for me to catch the servers attention for our check after our dessert plates and coffee were cleared away. The ambiance was ok. I was expecting more from the pictures posted and was a bit let down by the appearance in person. The presentation of the food and drinks were beautiful. Unfortunately the taste of the food was just mediocre. Especially considering the pricing of the menu I expected much more. Would not return again. Overall underwhelming experience unfortunately.
Love the food.
Didnt like the fact they closed kitchen just after we ordered, my reservation was at 8:30, so no chance to add anything, and a 9:40 they turned on all light, turned off AC and music....wth!!!!!
You need to take last reservation at 7 then.
As a top tier restaurant, and for any business with a customer service section to be fulfilled, it is universally known to accommodate in the respect of the customer for their overall experience. I would only suggest to be more mindful of the way your words are spoken as they are not to be proving a point. As someone with similar experience, I am sorrowed to express disappointment in the way things were handled in regards to communication and problem solving on both the employees and manager’s behalf of the customer, especially during this fragile time. I assume more training on customer etiquette can benefit future incidents greatly in this restaurant’s future. The views were spectacular, with a quiet aura for a potentially beautiful evening. The waitresses and servers were well spoken, to add.
Really good ambiance and view. They had a complementary bottle for reservations at 5.30pm, but you had to ask about it to the waiter. The Miami spice dinner menu was very good. Wasnt too noisy and crowded at that time as they just opened up. Parking at the 1111 garage is fixed at 20$ for 5 hours and if you dine at Juvia they give you a 10$ barcode so you also have 5 hours or parking at 10$ - which is not bad.
We made reservations for my boyfriends 40th birthday. The staff was amazing and made his birthday very memorable. The food was delicious and the atmosphere and view was outstanding! We loved everything and will definitely return next time we are in Miami!!
This place is uniquely cool! The food was awesome! Ana and Jorge provided the best service. Managment really cares too. I highly recommend this restaurant especially when looking for a hip fun night out
View and service were top notch. The ambiance with music is very loud, this is preferential. Not our speed. Food was ok, given the price point would have expected a little better food quality.
Great food as always, great DJ, loved the Prosecco
Amazing!! Everything was perfect, they even give you free champagne! Amazing service, food, and quality, cant wait to go back!
Un lugar lindo, atienden muy bien, la comida rica, y como fuimos por Miami spice, el precio súper bueno!
Great food and service, and a cool terrace for Miami summer. Fantastic drinks also
Spectacular views! Great ambiance and food and service were just as good! Definitely would recommend!
Went to celebrate my birthday.
Service was rocky and unpleasant from the very start of checking in for our reservation, up until the very end. Hostess was short tempered and unaccommodating. Our waiter was overall very slow and inattentive - water was never full, we were not checked on, our finished plates were not cleared off the table as more food came out, bus boy wiped off the table with a dirty towel in front of us during the meal, took forever to get the checked after it was asked for.
The food and ambiance was incredible. Would have been muuuuch more enjoyable with better service.
Excellent Miami Spice Menu. Shrimp anticucho and Lamb Shank to die for.
Due to this virus situation, we value social distancing. At the restaurant we needed to talk to the manager once they were receiving people with no place to accommodate them generating discomfort for those who were already having dinner.
Good food, Staff was busy and service took a little long. But the ambience was amazing so did not care much for the slower service. Make sure to make reservation.
