Juvia Ratings and Reviews
Not a place to go if you are vegan, there is one option on the menu. No effort was made to accommodate me. I am not sure the staff knew what vegan meant. When asked if they add a dessert that would be vegan, the answer was yes a vacherin, which contains egg white. The atmosphere is great, obviously very trendy and overpriced. I was very disappointed though and will not return
The Beau Soleil oysters were anorexic and almost void of oyster. They were also shucked from the front rather than from the back so I had shell in every oyster I ate.
The beef bincho pincho was so saturated with balsamic vinegar or some sort of vinegar you could not even taste the meat, It tasted pickled! We sent it back.
The grilled swordfish came out overcooked and cold! We sent it back. They tried again and it was still overcooked and cold and they serve the rice on the side which was also cold both times. The presentation of the food was also lacking.
I was so disappointed with the meal I wanted to cry.
My Mom got the sea scallop plancha and it was way too salty. She did not send it back cause we had already returned a few things already.
I had a side of maple glazed eggplants which were overcooked, mushy and poorly presented. They were also cold at the top and hot on the bottom as if it was microwaved.
They tried to make up for the disastrous meal with a free dessert, but the one I ordered was too expensive to be free and I had to order something that was lower priced. I also got a spicy margarita and they charges $2 more for the splash of juice they used to make it.... financially drained and disappointed. I will never come back! I will never recommend this place to anyone who is a foodie.
We had been to Juvia last year and had some wonderful waffles and brunch items. We were all excited to go back fro brunch only to find that they do not have brunch items anymore on the menu. We just had a bloody mary (one of the best I've had in SoBe) and left for brunch elsewhere. But we do love the view and the atmosphere. We have enjoyed coming at night for a drink or dinner.
Loved everything at Juvia. The food was very tasty, looked nice on the plates. Juvia has a wide variety of wines from moderate priced to sky high l, but value for money. The service was quick, helpful and friendly. The ambiance is perfect, a nice crowed of elegant people and great views over SB. We will surely be back for more.
The place supposed to be a high-end by the price it has, and the view at windows is super nice especially during night time, but the noise level? We were four, and we had to shout to each other in order to communicate. The food is ok, is a bit pricey but is ok by the service they have. However the noise level is too too high
Wonderful ambiance, great view of Miami and Miami Beach, good food , friendly and prompt service. A great place to take out-of-town visitors when you want to impress. The outside green wall is amazing. This was my fourth visit to Juvia and would definitely return to again enjoy its tasteful decor, friendly service, tasty food and ...did I mention the view?
