It is a beautiful place but it was not full of life. I didn’t loved it. The hack of lamb that I ordered was soooo small that I had to go it elsewhere later to eat. It was tiny even in comparison with the other people’s entrees. I complained and they didn’t do anything about it. Drinks are just ok, just as the service. I’m not sure I will be coming back.
Not a good menu, most was sold out, service is bad, view is great. Overall, not a good price/ value relation, wine list pretentious.
One of my favorite places on the beach. Friendly staff, great food and service, beautiful location, cool beats - played not too loudly, drinks are great ... it's a bit pricey but the value is there.
We came to Juvia for our 12 years anniversary, and 2 years wedding anniversary.
The hostess at the entrance are not really friendly, with a fake smile on her face but the view is breathtaking so we forgot about her immediately.
We asked to be seated closed to the window, the view was fabulous. (too cold to be outside unfortunately).
The service was very good, very very nice staff, very friendly and always smiling.
The food was really good, very nice presentation. We are French and we are very picky about this, and it was great.
The waitress nicely offered us a amuse bouche for our anniversary.
We loved our time at Juvia, and look forward to go back.
Muy buena comida. Lugar hermoso
I was really looking forward to this dinner. I had heard great things. And I was not impressed. The view at night was beautiful, but the food - meh. Rib steak - which I know is a fatty cut - had way too much fat on it. Drinks were skimpy. And my bok Choy was actually sandy! Waiter basically blew off our concerns. Won’t be back.
A great place in Miami to have dinner with a nice view.
We had a great night with the city view and a great ambiance, food was good but can be better. Overall we had a great experience!!!
Cucina eccellente per Miami. Purtroppo troppo modaiolo con servizio poco professionale e musica alle stelle
The service is very slow, the food barely average. The garage is complicated. You park in the 4th floor go up to the restaurant. On the way out you go down to the ground floor to a different elevator and back to 4. This is ok as long as some one at the place would advice you. Not better that a chain restaurant.
I love Juvia’s food but it was my birthday and I specifically asked to be seated outside but instead was seated inside in the back by the kitchen (though by the window). Very disappointing especially because i made my reservation over a week in advance, it was a 6:45pm dinner (early), I didn’t have the view I wanted on my special day and I’ve referred dozens of people there for private and business dining and cocktails. 😒 I didn’t feel special and was accompanied by business associates from NYC after I raved about the food, view and service.
This was a second visit to Juvia and for sure it will not be my last.
First off, don’t listen to all these negative reviews. You have to be your own judge. If you do decide to go, request Juan as a server. He is totally on his game. Prompt, friendly and super attentive. Ask for Juan!
The food was incredible. Which makes it that much more difficult when the service is so bad, since service should be the easy part of the equation. We had to ask our waiter numerous times for everything including the check 30 min after I had given him my credit card. Meanwhile the men next to us had quick service from the same server, which made us believe it was because it was three women at dinner. Ruined our experience unfortunately. The food was amazing though.
Nice location but very poor service. Unfriendly receptionist from Ukraine, had to wait a lot for our order to be taken, although place was less than half full, nobody was really responsible for our table, servers changed permanently, wine came when lunch was already finished. Ceviche was way to spicy because of exaggerated use of dry chili instead of fresh. BUT no hesitation in self charging 18% service charge. They seem to live comfortably on their fame.
Breathtaking view in Lincoln Road area.
Expensive for lunch
The setting is wonderful with a great view of South Beach and beyond. We have eaten here several times but we were disappointed this time. My truffle risotto had little flavour and was watery, I left most of it. Nobody else complained of their food but nobody enthused either. The waiter was good but really pushed many courses, which was unnecessary. We asked four times for them to turn the pumping music down, to no avail. It was intolerable as everybody in the restaurant was shouting to get themselves heard. Don’t they know that loud music cuts the appetite?! We didn’t stay for dessert but the waiter bought us some refreshing fruit shots, which was a nice gesture. High prices no longer reflect the quality, sadly.
Prices too high
The fresh catch of the day was prepared perfectly and completely delicious.
Way overpriced, regular food and nothing special.
The service is bad and they charged based 18% Don’t be confused, I like to pay for the service, but when is worth it.
The view is nice.
And Miami Beach mandatory service charge of 18% ($25) for a waiter I saw once all night.
Good, but the music was too loud.
The food is excelent, but the spicy tuna was not so tender
Food is ok. Expected more from food as the restaurant is pricey. Great views from rooftop. Service was ok.
The Tuna Nicoise Salad was really bad, with no taste at all. Besides that, the toilet was disgusting
Way too noisy which makes it difficult to enjoy dinner. Very overpriced an overrated
Amazing food & staff.
Too bad the noise
Truly an amazing place!!!! The food was awesome and the view of South Beach fantastic!!!!! Definitely I will recommend to everyone.
Definitely a must while in Miami. The rooftop trendy, live DJ spot offers a great brunch selection, excellent service and an awesome view of the city.
I had the yogurt and granola, along with salmon eggs Benedict and tiramisu for dessert. Our waiter brought us two delicious passion fruit shots as we were celebrating our anniversary.
The live DJ was awesome and she kept the beats going — awesome vibe.
Nut worth out. Unimpressive.
We came spécially to have diner at thé roof top and have ben Very desapointed cause no table available Outside. So we had to be sitting inside with a freezing air conditioned and couldnt have a view.
By thé way Really too noisy inside. Impossible to speak and be cosy.
The rib eye for 2 was very good but nothing New.
Thé girl for service is really nice but she was
Very busy allways running. No time to speak and for explication.
Finaly thé prices are really too expensive for Such an expérience.
Tutto al topppp
After showing up 10/15 minutes late they made us wait an hour for our table.
I called to advise we would be running late and the hostess said it was fine, our table wasn’t ready until 10:30 and I arrived no later then 9:30.
We are regular customers and fans for Juvia. Service was amazing.
Our disappointment was the way the White Truffles were served.
We were expecting the Truffles to be shaved at our table as the way it should be done with Truffles from Alba.
The rooftop layout and views are amazing, but that's basically it...
We were several people having dinner, and the overall impression was very negative.
- The food took a very long time to be prepared. Sat down at 8:20PM, left 10:00PM, and we only order two appetizers to share, plus one entree each. No desert or coffee.
- The bread arrived around 40 minutes after we sat down, and after asking three times for it.
- They did not have plates for the bread, and they were expecting us to use the same plates for the bread that we had used to eat the appetizers. We had to request the the plates to be changed.
- They did not change the silverware we used for the appetizers, and has to ask them to be changed.
- It took them 15 minutes to bring soft drinks or ice tea - which were also watery and with almost no taste. And they charged $ 7 for each soft drink and $ 6 for each ice tea...
- Nobody ever asked if we wanted a refill, despite seeing the empty glasses. And when we asked for the drinks, it took them at least 15 minutes to bring them to the table.
- A tenderloin that was ordered as very well done, was sent twice to the kitchen, and they still go it wrong.
- Two NY strips were ordered medium, and they were almost rare.
- The meat in one the children's plate was almost like chewing gum. The child could not eat it.
- The burrata had hazelnuts, and it was not indicated in the menu. We had one person allergic to nuts, that later on had an allergic reaction.
- Overall food taste was subpar.
- Had to ask three times for a napkin.
- The validation of the parking tickets did not work... We had to pay full price...
- And on top of all this, they still had the nerve to charge 18% for "Service Charge" - despite my claim to their "manager"...
Wonderful experience in Miami. Great decor, ambience, service and food.
Impeccable service. Nice ambience. Food was excellent.
Presentation of the food was on point. The escargot is okay you’re not missing anything if you pass it up. The sea bass is mouth watering. The views are phenomenal. Must do in MIA
