Robby and his staff were phenomenal as always. So many great things to love about Justine’s! A must for anyone that wants to experience something special that hits on every sensory.
This was one of the best places I have eaten at. The service was absolutely incredible, the decorum of this place is beautiful, and the food is beyond amazing. When I come back to Nola, I will definitely be coming back here.
We are so excited Justine is back open in the French Quarter and Robbie is still there as the Maitre d'! We had a lovely time there last Friday night and look forward to many others.
It was our anniversary and they gave us some free champagne. We had a booth and they kept everyone appropriately distanced. Our food was amazing, especially the Wagyu burger with the au poivre sauce to dip the burger in. It was amazing.
The BEST!! Everyone in this Restaurant is so helpful during these trying times. The food is amazing. Recommend Highly!!!!
They followed all the social distancing rules and did everything right!
Excellent! Truly Beautiful French Dining
Amazing staff. Fun place to eat and chat! Also clean, which is always a plus.
We sat next to a very loud group of girls that would let out screams every once in a while. We could barely talk to each other across the table. Food was fair but I think over priced. I got a ribeye that costs as much as Ruth's filet and their filet is excellent and worth the money. This was our first visit and it has a nice setting but we have too many other options in our French Quarter to ever be back.
This is a relatively new restaurant to the New Orleans restaurant scene. I think this is a must go to for anyone that’s into trendy restaurants. Great ambiance, good food, and drink.
Justine has been on my list for some time. I was excited about the lunch. The waiter was friendly, knowledgeable. The service was exceptionally slow. An hour after we sat down, our food came. My husbands burger was delicious. Like amazing delicious. My chicken sandwich was extremely disappointing. I couldn’t cut it with my knife it was so hard and dried, like it had been over fried. I’m sure it would have been delicious had it not been fried, then fried some more. I did bring it to the attention of the waiter, who called the manager over. The manager offered to take it off of the bill, as I would have expected, but he was kind of rude about it and walked away from the table sort of abruptly. I typically don’t complain. I also don’t blame the server for the kitchen issues. But the experience was overall very negative and there was an opportunity missed by the manager to have us leave happy to return again.
I made reservations for 6 people at Justine in January. We arrive on time for our 8:00pm reservation and were promptly seated. The ambiance was great and we were excited for a lively dinner. Our server was very nice, the few times we saw her. We ordered a couple cocktails to start, some apps for the table, and the sommelier came over to recommend a bottle of wine. We were also served warm bread which was delicious and promptly eaten by us 6 hungry women. After 30 minutes, our apps still hadn't arrived and the bottle of wine went quickly with 6 people so we ordered another one, and asked for more bread. We were told they RAN OUT OF BREAD ON A SATURDAY NIGHT. Apparently they found some down the street and came back with more, which was great since we still didn't have any food on the table and it was almost 9:00pm. The sommelier came over again to pour our second bottle of wine and I asked if our food was coming and he said he hoped it was coming out soon, the kitchen was a little backed up and one ticket was in front of us. I dine out frequently and whenever the kitchen is overwhelmed, as might happen on a Saturday night, the server and/or manager should make the diners aware at the beginning of the meal. We had a show to catch at 10:30pm. They started to bring a few items out at 9:45pm, and I asked a server, who was not ours, to see the manager. She never came to the table. Our server came back and I asked again, also asking for the bill and a couple complimentary drinks since we had to scarf down our food to make it to the show in time- might as well get a roadie since we're in the Big Easy, and it took almost 2 hours to get food (I should note that we ordered 2 burgers, a steak, some mussels, and a salad- not a ton of filets or fish that needed a lot of prep or cooking time). Our server came back with the bill but still no manager, and we needed to leave, so I finally tracked down who the manager was and voiced my concerns about everything. She blamed the other
we enjoyed our lunch at justines. a beautiful setting and attentive wait staff, wonderful cocktails.delicious beet salad and the seafood tower was super. a great finish with expresso and the gateau basque. this goes on my A list.
Everything about this establishment is fabulous. The interior of the restaurant is gorgeous. The service is top notch and the food is even better.
Everything was just Ok. There were 3 of us. We had the onion soup, beet salad, the Croquet, the mussels and the skirt steak. For $15 or $16, the onion soup should have been much better. It was just OK. Pretty much the same for all of the food. It was just OK (and I love French Bistro cuisine). Our server was good but the good runner seemed quite confused. Space is fun. Overall, think it is very overpriced for only so-so food.
Wonderful dinner. Onion soup a marvel. Fish dishes superb.
Upon making our reservation on Open Table, I had put in the notes that this would be the first dinner of our honeymoon. It’s always a crap shoot as to whether or not restaurants pay attention to these things - Justine did, tenfold. We were congratulated on our nuptials by our server, Paul C., almost immediately. The food was outstanding, every bite more delicious than the last. Before the close of our meal, we were served a complementary piece of cake with a celebratory sparkler in it as well as glasses of champagne. Before we exited the restaurant, the staff made sure to capture a beautiful picture of my new husband and myself. This was not just going out for food; this was an entire experience. We were made to feel so special and everyone there seemed genuinely happy for us. I highly recommend this wonderful establishment and we will, for certain, return with pleasure.
Service was great. Appetizers of beet salad and Niçoise salad were excellent. Duck Confit and fish were good. We had expected more variety on the menu and heard great things from others who had dined here.
Great food and great drinks. Also the vibe and ambience was very “happening”. Loved it!
We had a nice dinner at Justine's. For appetizers we tried the foie gras, the onion soup and the prawn cocktail. All were very good. For entrees we tried the hanger steak and the ribeye. The ribeye was excellent, although we were disappointed that it was one of the only dishes that didn't come with French fries.
Had a great meal with great service and then we saw a mouse run across the restaurant into the kitchen. We saw servers see the mouse and talk about it. When we notified a server about this, they ignored us. Very strange and disgusting.
Great service with a knowledgeable server. Drinks and food were delicious. Enjoyed the ambiance and music playing. It was a fun place to be.
Food was outstanding and the atmosphere was great.
Justine was fantastic! We seek out French Bistro anywhere we travel amd Justines was a definate find. Great ambiance, service and food. Highly recommend it!
Escargot and duck were on point. Nice experience. We went early so was quiet for chatting.
Delicious food, wonderful experience, great atmosphere and friendly staff.
I asked to be seated away from the kitchen so they seated us by the kitchen. Beautiful restaurant but so loud there could not be much conversation. My 4 bites of hanger steak were delicious but a ridiculously small serving. Can with only a giant pile of cold greasy, brown fries. When I commented on them, they brought me a small hot serving after dinner. Server never checked in on us. Many better places in New Orleans to spend that kind of money.
Lundi Gras! Good time to be in the Quarter- Justine was great. Do yourself a a favor and get the Moroccan Short Ribs and do the Pork Belly as an App.
Staff was great.
This restaurant has a great vibe. We were there during Mardi Gras and originally had a table for 6, which grew to 12. They were able to accommodate us and we had excellent service and food. Great job! This was our 2nd year going on Thoth Sunday after the ride and we'll be back next year!
