With so many options in New Orleans, Justine flew under our radar for far too long! We loved everything we ordered and couldn't believe we'd waited so long to check it out.
Fun atmosphere. Will definitely come back. Steak frites too salty.
I’m not sure if menu changed post Covid but very limited choices. We each ordered a burger. Mine was over cooked and sent back and redo was flavorless and dry. Had to pay for 2 pieces of bread while waiting for our food. I was so disappointed in it all. Would not go back
We went for my wifes birthday with another couple food, service, restaurant were all excellent. The menu is limited, but each item (we had several between the 4 of us) was excellent. It is costly, so be aware. Only negative is that I had noted it was my wife's birthday when making the reservation. We were having fun and we left the restaurant before I realized that they never commented on her birthday (wasn't looking for an Applebee's type sing a long, but a congratulations from the waiter would have been nice). Besides that great time and we would go back.
Upon entering, I was greeted warmly by hosts. Waiter was very tentative. He explained the entire menu in detail and offered suggestions. Music was amazing, ambiance was very cool! I had escargot that was delicious! My cod was amazing! We ordered Creme Brûlée that was amazing and I had an expression martini. It was our anniversary and this place lived up to our expectations!
We sat in the back patio area which is perfect for conversation and our server (Savanah) treated us like we were her only table (we weren't and she seemed to treat the others equally wonderfully). The food was lovely and each one of us thought the others out-ordered us. Cannot wait to go back.
Wonderful experience! Great staff, great vibes, excellent food and drinks. Highly recommend and will recommend to friends going to NOLA
Beautiful place & great food. Location is great if you want to be in the French Quarter.
Phenomenal meal in a unique space. Limited menu but the options were all amazing and delicious. Tried the pimento cheese dip and BBQ shrimp.
The first time we dined here it was so loud we could not have a conversation at our own table. It was awful and we said we would never go back. But we gave it another chance. This time it was sad, there were only 5 Entrees offered: a hamburger, hangar steak, baked chicken quarter, and 2 fish dishes. The 2 fish dishes were Cod and Fluke, both fish from the northeast so I'm sure they were frozen. We almost always order seafood dishes when we dine out so we were very disappointed in these selections. They said that there was no seafood available since hurricane Ida yet other restaurants in NOLA and in Baton Rouge have seafood dishes. We ordered the hangar steak and the baked chicken, both dishes were definitely not impressive. On the good side, the service was great.
Host was so friendly and waiter was amazing. Food was amazing. Will go again.
A hidden unexpected treasure in the French Quarter. It hit all the required marks.
We LOVE Robby! He’s the reason we are such frequent flyers at Justine. He is SO welcoming and makes your experience SO much fun!
The restaurant was nice the service was great but the food was disappointing. Very limited menu, drinks were OK and all the food was too salty. I would pass on this one unless your looking for a trendy place to hang out. Definitely better choices for dinner in NOLA.
Great ambience, with doors that open to the street. Great food and great wine!!!
The vibes here are immaculate! Such a fun cute place! The food is good. I preferred the appetizers over entrees. I would totally come here again to hang out with friends.
The atmosphere and decor were great, the waitstaff was extremely attentive and friendly and the drinks were strong! The happy hour deal was good too, luckily we got there right when Justine opened. My only complaint is that the food was over salted. Otherwise, it tasted good but it was difficult to eat the burger with the sauce and the fries, and the greens that came with the chicken confit were difficult to finish. It’s possible we came on a bad day, but I won’t be going back unless I know this won’t be an issue.
I enjoyed every single bite of my food, so delicate, the balance in the flavor, simply exquisite, highly recommended.
We had a wonderful time at Justines! Food and ambiance was amazing!
Megan was a great waitress!!
Birthday, we enjoyed our evening
We had read about Justine. The atmosphere was lovely, and had a comfortable elegance about the place. The menu had excellent choices, even satisfying my husband who sometimes is a challenge! I would describe it as French casual. Our waitress was very attentive. We loved Justine, 5 stars all the way!!
Nice dinner - a little warm in there and some flies with the door open so the nonvaccinated to eat in a separate section. With that changed it would have been perfect! Lovely conversation with the manager.
Food, service and ambiance were excellent. Had such a fun time there.
The food was very good. We had the goat cheese appetizer, the French Onion soup, and then I got the Fish of the Day (Halibut), and to top it off, we shared the creme brulee. Everything was delicious! I have a gluten allergy, and I was very pleased with the options and the knowledge of the waiter in helping me select my meal. So excited I could eat the french onion soup! The vibe was really cool - they played good music, and the interior decor was very fun and interesting.
Celebrated an early birthday dinner and Justine was the perfect spot to do it! Our server Jacob, was lovely from the moment they greeted our table. Everything was wonderfully delicious!
Justine has a great ambience and excellent service. However, the food is very expensive and the portions are quite small. Our bill for 2 people was over $100 without alcoholic beverages and we were still hungry. We greatly enjoyed the pimento cheese and BBQ shrimp appetizers. The bruschetta, pork belly and Parisian gnocchi were rather bland though.
We've been here a few times and it's great. The staff is great and the manager is also a great guy who came and remembered us and chatted for a while. Definitely give it a try!
Justine's was amazing. The food was delicious as well as the drinks. Will definitely visit when in New Orleans again!
Beautiful evening on the “cafe” front patio of Justine’s where we enjoyed delicious food and watched the comings and goings of this special place. Fun!
I had been wanting to go to this restaurant for months, I finally got the chance to go last night. Wonderful place, good vibe..we were with another couple NS we enjoyed ourselves. Our only issue was with our server Meghan, she was simply unpleasant and just carried a negative energy that we all felt. We would ask her something and we would get a strange look, she just wasn’t very friendly. Other than that experience the food was good, although portions are way too small I would likely go again.
What a terrific decision to choose to dine here. Every aspect of our evening was perfect. The restaurant has an eclectic feel that manages to be glamorous and cozy at the same time. The staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. We had escargot, steak frites, and a peach cobbler for two with cream cheese ice cream. Every item we ordered was fabulous. It all added up to a magical date night and a memorable experience. We'd give them 10 stars if we could.
Super cute restaurant. The vibe is awesome! The food is tasty and the staff is great.
Server was not very excited, maybe having a bad day. It took quite while to get our drinks, they came after our food and we ordered them first. Hmmm… maybe bartender was not at work yet. I don’t know. However we were greeted by the nicest man with the best style and energy! Food menu is limited for brunch… we basically made that our appetizer spot. French Toasts sticks were flame. Picante cheese was nice…
All I have to say is #foodporn! That was insanely good! Definite must if you’re in New Orleans 🤩🤤😋
Robbie was an outstanding host and our service was stellar!
Family of 4 with2 teens. Really French restaurant. Loved the food, ambiance, decoration and service. A little on the expensive side but totally worth it.
Wanted to go for for dinner long and wanted to love it. Unfortunately the staff kind of ruined it for us.
They were not even that busy on a Tuesday night and still we were ignored and dismissed for much of it.
Having never dined here, we had some questions. There were 3 similar fudges and we needed to decide. I guess ask for recommendations set our server off because he left to let us decide on own and did not return fir 20 minutes. Only because we flagged him down. Really was not helpful.
We watched as he went from table to table never even glancing at us. The wine cake before we even ordered so we drank while we waited.
Food came and was really very good. But prices are high. A baguette is $8. Which we needed fir all the sauces. But $8?
Back YK the wine. We ordered red. It was cold. Not slightly chilled but cold like out of a cooler. Like white wine.
We drank 1/2 as it was 20 minutes before anyone came by.
When I did finally ask about it to the person who seemed like the manager or sommelier we were told. I Guess the cellar is cool. Nothing we can do as in hot weather we keep it cold there” really? We order wine at many restaurants and f in t drink cold red. He could care less acted like it was our issue and offered nothing.
We then had the waiter chat us up as if you make things better but not once did anyone apologize or a acknowledge
the wait, attitude or cold wine.
We’ve dined in busy places before. Just a simple, sorry I’ll be right with you guys, would’ve helped.
And sorry about the cold red. Can I offer anything else?
Very surprised at this restaurant. We love Le Petite Grocery and don’t think we will return to Justine.
All staff were very friendly and our server, Rene, was outstanding! The food is delicious, a definite 5 star experience.
