The waiter was amazing! We stayed well after closing time and there was no rush by the staff. Everyone was pleasant and the service staff worked together as a team to make sure we were treated well.
friend and i stopped in for a late meal. service was super slow and relatively inattentive. schnitzel was way over cooked and the cabbage was indescribably bad. the sazerac tasted like it was half simple syrup. disappointing because the place has a nice vibe.
Great evening. Loved the food.
We had dinner reservations on a Sunday night at 7pm and were seated in the dining room. The restaurant had a few other tables but it wasn’t very busy. Our server John was wonderful! We started with the Short Ribs appetizer and Crab and Brie snack - both were excellent but if I had to order one again I would get the Short Rib, the Brie was amazing but a little heavy if you’re having multiple courses. My boyfriend had the Soft Shell Crab entree and I had the Chicken Confit - both spectacular! We got the Chocolate Tart to go since we were so full from the other two courses. The only disappointment were our cocktails - I got a champagne cocktail (can’t remember the name) and there was nothing wrong with it, it had some sort of berry liquor, I just prefer my champagne pure. My boyfriend got the Cavendish and he liked it fine, but he didn’t love it. I’ve heard they have great cocktails, we probably just ordered poorly. John did give us a tip that if you’re looking for a quieter more relaxed night for dinner Sundays are the best nights for that, Fridays and Saturdays are usually filled with birthday parties and bachelorette celebrations.
Delicious! Wonderful atmosphere! Great service! Beautifully decorated!
We will be back!
Very limited and unimaginative menu.
The service I received was Horrible. It took over an hour to get my food. The server ignored our table and was rude about the whole mishap. We even waited 30 minutes for ice for water. I generally will not make complaints; however, the service was absolutely horrific. I would NOT recommend this place. New Orleans has too many other nice restaurants with quality food and Great Service.
Brunch was amazing! Thank you!
Overall it was good. They reluctantly accepted my modification request, which I was grateful. The food was adequate and the service was attentive, the space is very nice. The one dish which I felt really needed to improve was the escargot which were charred to a stump in sizzling brown butter. Two suggestions: please offer an “Eat Fit Nola” option on the menu because even those of us who have dietary restrictions enjoy a night out without having to worry about offending a chef. and secondly, consider adding some parsley or something to that escargot dish. Justine just made me miss Chateau du Lac in Metairie which aint dere no more.
Loved! Will be back.
Great French cuisine- introductory for us. Outstanding service and ambiance
Went to Justine to celebrate Mother’s Day and a college graduation, and it did not disappoint! We shared the asparagus appetizer and sweet potatoes and creamed corn sides. The French onion soup and tilefish as well as green salad were all incredible! Great service.
We went for Mother’s Day brunch. We had a lovely spot right by the kitchen. My complaintthe service was not that good.
The soft-shell crab was delicious but quite small in size and portion for an entree. The french onion soup and fish were both very good. The atmosphere was beautiful and fun but quite pricey.
We celebrated Mother’s Day during a recent weekend visit to Justine for Brunch. We had a party of six- we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the specialty drinks and the atmosphere. Our server Ewa was great, she was very attentive and explained all the details about the wonderful menu offerings. We also enjoyed talking with Robby who gave us a warm welcome! We loved the baked crab/brie, the bread pudding French toast, the Justine breakfast and softshell crab croissants were devoured! Mimosas for the moms and a Felix Kir and Printemps for our guests were all so good!! Thanks again for a great dining experience.
Outstanding food and service! Arian was our server on both occasions and delivered excellent service! She made our whole trip. Thank you!
Love the space! Drinks were great! Food was ok
Hostess and staff were excellent. The food exceptional!
Great food and atmosphere
We went for a friends birthday and had an excellent time! Our waitress and fun and attentive, while still giving us time to celebrate.
Great food in a lovely setting. Can’t wait to go back. We will definitely try dinner next
We had a group of 6 to continue celebrating my husband’s birthday weekend. The service was great and so was the food.
We really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. The appetizer we ordered (crab dip) was delicious so we were all really looking forward to our entrees. The cocktails were tasty. When we received our entrees however we were all pretty disappointed. For as expensive as it was we expected more. The only one to really enjoy their meal ordered the steak. I would go back for cocktails, appetizers and sides but probably wouldn’t order an entree if I went again.
Maitre’d Is wonderful!
Our first time at Justine left a very favorable impression! We had a fantastic French onion soup and pan roasted Gulf shrimp to start- make sure you get an extra baguette for sopping up the sauce! For mains, we loved the flavors of the rabbit blanquette, and were blown away by the HUGE fried fish and chips. The ambiance of Justine is amazing. Warm, colorful, artistic walls make you feel welcome and the staff is attentive and efficient. We appreciated Robbie stopping by the table to check on us and chat. We’ll be back to Justine on our next NOLA visit!
Great food. Great drinks. Great ambiance. It's a little pricey for some of the dishes, but worth it for the whole package. We've been before and we'll go again!
I had the whipped goat cheese appetizer and the rabbit as an entree. Both were delicious, especially the creative rabbit dish—-my compliments to the chef! This was one of my favored restaurants pre-pandemic, and I am SO glad it survived (as did I—now vaccinated, thank God!). I’ll definitely be back.
Very good. Rabbit was excellent
It wasn’t as special as we had hoped. The food lacked, the service was okay, but we were seated where we could see the bar and it was really bright, and lacking ambiance. The fried redfish should have been served on wilted southern greens instead of leeks. The overall taste would have been much better.
Server was great. Beautiful place and nice cocktail and wi e menu. Food was good.
The food was absolutely delicious, the service was incredible, and the ambiance was fun. Would definitely go back again and again and again.
Everything was on point; delicious food we had brunch along with their high end mimosas accompany by Veuve Clicquot. Great staff as always. We need to try the dinner menu one of this days!!! Keep up the good work!!!
One of the best dining experiences I've had in New Orleans. Several friends had been recommending I try Justine and they weren't wrong. The ambience, service and food were all excellent. Will definitely return soon.
Food presentation and taste was amazing. Decor was beautiful. Highly recommend.
Great place for a Date Night.
My favorite cocktails are the fruity ones.
Place is so cute and staff is amazing.
classic French in the French quarter, wonderful ambiance and enjoyed it from start to finish.
Service was exceptionally slow, more than an hour to get salmon bagel and crab dip. Adjacent table complained and was compensated with a cocktail. We didn’t get an explanation or an apology. Wouldn’t go back with so many great choices in New Orleans.
Perfect.... the escargot was outstanding
The whipped goat cheese with truffle is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten! Great drinks and food.
