Celebratory Graduation dinner with family, my youngest son had just graduated from UNO. This was a celebration that ended on a sour note. I gave the waitress 2 VISA gift cards to cover the meal. One for $100. One for $225. I was told they could not accept the gift cards because there was no name on the cards. Keep in mind, these were pre-paid gift cards. No name on it?? A second layer of dumbed down society approached me to explain it was a theft issue they face when closing out at night. WHAT?? You run the card just like a credit card. What could be stolen? I felt like I was being called a thief. Needless to say I had to whip out my AmEx card. This is a great example of our dumbed down youth today. Are you telling me Justine has never accepted a VISA gift card or any gift card?? Wake up society! This is frightening.
A beautiful place, food and service is fantastic! It’s a treat to walk in the door.
Setting is obviously fabulous. Given the prices, the food was a bit underwhelming.
Much better meals for lower prices throughout New Orleans. No one in our party was wowed by their food. We left and we somewhere else for dessert. Overall a let down from what we expected.
Justine was delicious and a wonderful dining experience!
We were there for an anniversary dinner. Service was fantastic, good was very good and they brought us a nice glass of bubbly to celebrate. The menu was very moderately priced for the quality.
We had a wonderful birthday celebration! Food, service, atmosphere were all great
Very good service
Not sure if the food, service or music was best. Well done.
Incredible food/fantastic service
My wife’s birthday. We had gotten engaged at La Petit Grocery and go there for anniversaries and have been a follower of Justin Devellier so were excited to try Justine. The whole experience, from food to service to ambiance was exceptional. Beautifully appointed as a modern statement of a French Brasserie, the menu is along those lines but with unique and modern flair, from the Moroccan spiced beef shortrib with chermoula and yogurt sauced roasted carrots to a gorgeous and complex beet salad. Both were exceptional. Also very good was the classic French bistro hangar steak frites. The roasted bone marrow was a large shank cut lengthwise and topped with persillade and served with toasted baguette slices crowned with a sweet and tangy shallot marmalade. The wine list is appropriately French, and carefully curated by region, not overly encyclopedic like some large restaurant lists can be. With the assistance of a very helpful and friendly sommelier, we ordered a beautiful 2017 Premiere Cru Burgundy which complimented virtually everything. The service was exceptional as well, with a very friendly and knowledgeable server, Stephanie, and a visit from the manager, hostess and even the kitchen to briefly check on us. It’s a beautiful space and a gem of a restaurant. Gotta say, this might be our new regular destination for anniversaries or when friends are in town. Well done, Justin and crew!!
Great ambiance, and service. Good food but not the best. Come here for a fun vibe.
Noise level varies from room to room. Food & service great. One I f my favorite places.
Amazing experience. Food, atmosphere, wait staff, DJ were amazing. We were there for Sunday late afternoon. I am a local musician and my wife is a writer. We have been telling everyone about Justine. Thanks and keep it up!!! Kevin Ray Clark
Fantastic experience. The space is one of the most beautiful and well conceived I have ever seen. Our server and sommelier were both incredibly knowledgable. In a sea of overpriced, underwhelming tourist traps that line Bourbon Street the surrounding blocks, Justine is a shining beacon of style, taste and culinary excellence.
The food was good but the music was a monotone techno pop
It was fine. Food was best part.
2nd time dining here, first time was good.
We waited 45 min-1hr between ordering our food and receiving our food. Server didn’t check in with us once.
Manager comped a round of drinks but it ruined our dinner. Should NEVER wait that long at this “caliber” of a restaurant.
Great food and wonderful atmosphere! We enjoyed dinner here during our New Orleans visit. The French Onion soup is amazing and my daughter's chicken sandwich, was huge, but divine! I would highly recommend!
Meat order was awfully overcooked, service was slow, forgetful, and inattentive. Just a super disappointing experience. Would never return!
We were disappointed. Atmosphere was sooo New Orleans. Li
Loved that.. But Menu was small for NO. Would not go back.
Murder point oysters off the charts!
Lovely atmosphere. We at in the front open-air area. It was quieter and less air conditioned than the main dining room. Cocktail menu is excellent. The special fried oyster salad was only mediocre: the oysters were chewy and heavy and the greens were not dressed. The fish almondine entree was excellent. Lovely service.
The food was really good and the wait staff outstanding
3 day weekend in NOLA. Beautiful food and great vibe in the quarter.
Parisian swank for atmosphere, energetic, lively, and bustling inside. Service was right on target, very informed and helpful with drinks, wine, and the menu. We had pork belly, short rib, onion soup, and duck confit- all were excellent !
Can’t miss here in my opinion. Somewhat pricey but it’s a very good value.
Excelent food and service! Love the decoration and ambiance
Wish they had a few more items on menu. I personally think salt & pepper should be on every table & I want ice in my water. This is not Europe!
The food was absolutely phenomenal. Our waitress was amazing. Great location, great atmosphere. *The onion soup gratinée is a must and definitely big enough for two!*
Allison is a WONDERFUL waitress! I will request her every time. I eat here often and I find the management a bit off putting.
Food was wonderful! Robbie was the cherry-on-top of service. Absolutely amazing!
We ate at Justine before a concert at House of Blues. Perfect location since it was around the corner. Started.with drinks at the bar, then dinner. Drinks and food were great. Ambiance was fun, and it was not too noisy.
The restaurant was pleasant but not as pretty as I was expecting from the pictures. Basically, some of the food was really good, some not quite as good and everything seemed overpriced. The potato purée and the spinach gratin were really outstanding but the portions were very small. My sister and I split the prime rib au jus which was not au jus but had some kind of gravy on it, not bad just not as expected. Also no one asked how we wanted our beef cooked and the prime rib was almost raw. I like my steaks rare but I prefer my prime rib medium rare which is usually the standard if not asked. Just kind of a disappointing experience.
Expertly executed dining experience! I had the burger and I am still asking myself how a burger could be that good!
Great ambiance and server. The only disappointment was the entrecôte entree, which was a little tough and not flavorful. But the appetizers, desserts and other entrees were great.
We really enjoyed the restaurant but it was a long dinner. The food and ambiance were both excellent. Things just seemed to always be slow. So it’s worth it to go, just be prepared for things to take some time.
Appetizers were good in general - Pork belly was crisp and very tasty, fois gras was so so
I ordered the entrée beef with Moroccan spices. If there were any Moroccan spices, I totally missed them, it was tender, had just been re-heated and was in a relatively sweet sauce.
Overall, not bad for New Orleans but not great.
What a wonderful restaurant. Beautiful atmosphere and a brilliant place to take a delectable break from the hectic French Quarter. We went twice! Everything from the perfect fried chicken sandwich to the froi gras to the fall-off-the-bone meat course and perfectly balanced dessert was just badass. Not to mention the great service provided by Jordan. Thanks for having us!
Unfortunately shrimp and artichoke was way overcooked and lacked flavor. Tuna Crudo was way over seasoned. Salad was weak. Must have been an off night. Food was very unimpressive..
On the upside the decor was awesome and was a fun place.
Drinks were also good.
