For omakase reservations, please visit our sister restaurant, Mako, in the West Loop.
Everything we had was amazing. Our server was very helpful and we learned early on to take all of her suggestions. It's not cheap, but so worth it.
Food: quality and always fabulous!
Service: service was decent today... always depends on the server... my favorite server Grace (the best server there and in general!) was not working today
Value: pricey for what you get but I prefer quality over quantity even if costs more and have to order triple of everything
I go to Juno when I want fantastic sushi. The quality of their fish is rarely equalled. They course the food appropriately, and pace the meal really well, even if people order vastly different amounts of food. I feel like a valued guest, never rushed. I always have a wonderful time.
Amazing ambiance and the food is the best.
$50 12 year Yamazaki Japanese whiskey is more than at high end cocktail bars and restaurants .
Mediocre and smallish pieces of sushi not worth the price.
I’ve been to Yasuda san’s restaurant in Japan as well as Masa in New York . I go to kamehachi and kumiko in Chicago.
I’m not afraid to spend money, but in a sea of sushi and omakase restaurants- I know what I should be paying for.
Everything was delicious, and our server was helpful with recommendations and portioning. The only downfall is that it is pretty pricey.
Absolutely delicious sushi. Pricey though but cheaper than a flight to Tokyo.
My only beef is how watered down my cocktail was. I ordered a cocktail with Japanese whiskey and I could barely taste the whiskey. I've had better at non-Japanese restaurants. It was a big disappointment. My husband's tequila-based cocktail was cloyingly sweet and it was also hard to taste any tequila. Are they a overly concerned about diners being overserved? I'll go for the sake next time and forgo the cocktails completely.
Food was amazing
High quality sushi. Great service.
Excellent sushi and service. Food was well timed and came out very promptly. Overall great even tho it’s loud af I can deal with that these guys are great
The hostess shoved us at a table in the way back corner of the restaurant, it was annoying because only one of us could see the restaurant and decor and the other had to stare into the kitchen and hair all of the noise. When we asked to be moved to one of the other many open tables, the hostess was very rude and condescending claiming that those tables had certain different reservations that we did not have. We ordered two plates of sushi and ate a total of 6 pieces, after a half-hour there we left, still hungry.
My favorite sushi place in Chicago. Amazing food and stuff. Loving the home-made special edition soy sauce, it adds a special elegant flavour to each fish. I recommend this place to everyone who loves sushi. Try this now and thanks me later!
Overpriced and average quality sushi. You are better off at any other nice Japanese restaurant.
We had a great time at Juno. Best sushi in Chicago we have had to date. Very fun atmosphere and the presentation was fantastic.
Most amazing sushi experience of our lives! Had a rough day made better with a truly exceptional meal and wonderful service! Thank you everyone at Juno!
Best meal in literally years. Grace’s guidance and the work the kitchen puts into every detail make this a world class experience.
Beyond Delicious. I wish there were more servings of each item but only because they were so delicious.
Exceptional service (thank you Grace) and quality product prepared with care! Super impressed with the sake selection and little nuances that separate Juno, like the jalapeño soy sauce offered, Rose colored sake by the glass and the kinmadai “golden eye snapper” — we’ll be back!
Food was delicious, but portions were laughable. Alex helped us big time by changing our reservation to accommodate additional people last minute. Very much appreciated.
Excelent food, slightly disappointed by service
We had the most amazing waiter...she brought us her favorites.
The food is great and so is the service. The only disappointing thing is that now everyone knows about it so it’s hard to get in.
Sushi are all very thin and tiny comparing to any other Japanese sushi restaurants at the same price level, it is definitely not a match for others. I don’t know why this place’ s chef create a “new standard” for the sushi including sashimi and nigiri.
The tiny rat nigiri and maki servings I have ever experienced
Love the place...probably the best sushi in the city! Fun, creative menu with outstanding service and atmosphere!
This was our second time eating at Juno and it was just as amazing as the first! While there are a lot of options for sushi in Chicago, Juno is absolutely the best! We’ve eaten at some of the top rated sushi restaurants in NYC, LA and SF, and also lived in Japan for two years. I would put Juno in my all time top 3 restaurants! Not only is the sushi so fresh and delicious, but the service is excellent...the waitstaff is always very friendly and attentive.
First time there. As great as we heard. Family will definitely go back when we want to splurge on Japanese and sushi.
Everything was great. We are still talking about our experience days later.
Fantastic meal and great value for the quality of sushi. Highly recommend the sushi bar for additional sensory experience!
It is really, really expensive
Fantastic service. Great food. Will definitely be back
I have been here three times now and each time I've been uber-impressed. From the food quality to the service, this place is a hidden gem. Far superior to your average (good) sushi place in Chicago.
Wonderful as always
Although good quality, the size of portions are so small. In Los Angeles you would get 2 big pieces of fish in an order of sushi. Not this place, you get one tiny little piece. Really not worth what we paid.
A whole new level of Japanese cuisine. Server couldn’t be nicer or more helpful in guiding us through what could’ve been an intimidating experience. Definitely a place to go back to!
Food was good, everything else was a disappointment. Bad service, long waits.
Nobody greeted us at the front when we arrived. Stood and waited 5 min for hostess to show up. Sushi quality was quite dismal -- boring, small maki rolls without a lot of flavor -- and overpriced. Saki came after we were done with our soup. The Miso soup was also very salty with very few mushrooms in it -- mainly liquid. Very disappointing.
Juno met all of our expectations for food and sushi experience. We had a little issue getting service at first (20 mins after we sat down), but once they realized what happened the waitress was very very good and apologized for the delay.
Would absolutely recommend them if you are looking for a unique experience.
