Awesome - will definitely be back. Great food, appropriate portions, fun atmosphere, friendly service.
Last minute reservation but they food was excellent. We had great fried veggies, superb beef stroganoff & roasted Brussels sprouts. Good drinks.
What a fantastic dinner experience!
Had the opportunity to visit with Justin the owner and Danielle suggested one hit after the other.
Can’t wait to visit on my next trip to Tulsa.
Excellent food and service! Loved the trout, and the goat cheese/honey appetizer. Cocktails are inventive and delicious, particularly those that use the house infusions.
Juniper is one of our favorite restaurants in Tulsa. Always great food and service. Very nice atmosphere.
Reservations for 630 on a Saturday night ensured that we were seated at our table after arriving promptly. The only available tables were in the back located near the kitchen entrance, but tucked away in a corner so the traffic wasn't bothersome. We enjoyed a meal of appetizers including the shrimp which was tasty and king crab cakes, which I thought were a bit pedestrian for this establishment. My standard for cakes was set by Ruths Chris and which is mainly lump crab with very little filler. These cakes were essentially no different from those I have had, so I would skip the cakes and try something else next time. We enjoyed the infused cocktails before dinner, and the wait staff was very responsive.
The restaurant was just ok. The bread was good. My salad (Caesar) was good. My wife had the beet salad and she thought it was way too many greens and not enough beets. We shared the brown butter trout and it was a tiny bit overcooked but worse mostly tasteless. Service was friendly. There are many better places to eat in Tulsa.
Such a great restaurant! We have enjoyed lunch and dinner on several occasions and it is at top of my list for Tulsa dining. Great ambiance and the staff is terrific. They know the menu and all seem to truly desire a great experience for the customer. If you have not dined at Juniper book a table and you will be glad you did...
Great food and atmosphere. $6.00 coffee little steep.
Loved it! Highly recommend.
Our visit to Juniper was my wife and I's first venture into fine dining, and we were overwhelmed at the level of excellence that we experienced while there. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and the tables felt cozy yet were spaced far enough from each other that you didn't feel as if you were rubbing elbows with each other. Our waitress, Rachel, was incredibly gracious and patient to our first time jitters and went above and beyond to make my wife and I feel at home. I was a little nervous about portion sizes of the tasting menu, as I have always heard that fancier restaurants were stingy with portions, however I can attest that both my wife and I were truly satisfied with both quantity and quality of food was far and above expectations. We both laughed and chatted our way through almost two hours of food and fellowship and left feeling as if we had robbed the establishment for the price that we had paid.
This was our first experience with any restaurant other than some local establishments, but we can certainly say that this will not be our last visit to Juniper. You have made customers for life.
Great dinner at the end of the day. Amuse, followed by green toast, then brown butter trout. Brocollini was a little too charred for me. Everything else was delicious!
The food here is excellent. The only thing I would offer is it would be nice if there were just a standard small house type salad on the menu. The salads offered are all rather taste specific and large, judging from the price. Also, if one pays $40 for a fish entree, it would be better if it at least came with some form of starch. The flavor of the fish and the way it was done was outstanding, but given that it was just atop a few vegetables, it just wasn't very filling. I would definitely come back here.
Great menu, great service. Super for date night, Anniversary, etc.
I expected something different for a farm to table restaurant. Might have been a temporary menu, but was more of a steak restaurant. Steak was cooked just to my liking. Charred broccoli not a favorite. Seating was too close. It was expensive, which is okay, but I have to perceive the food was worth it. Value scale 3 out of five. Service was timely.
Concert with friends.
perfect place for date night! Loved the food and service!
Lovely experience. Ellarie provided helpful menu advice and great service. Carrot soup was outstanding. A real gem in downtown Tulsa.
Always love dinner spent at Juniper. The food is creative without being weird. There's lots of choices which is great for a large group. One of my 'go to's'.
Incredible meal. Server Anna was great - friendly, helpful, knowledgeable of vegetarian options. Killer cocktails. The food was perfect.
It was delicious food. I liked the way the restaurant was set up. Little cozy spaces for two and different levels. This made for a nice quiet dinner.
The service was good. Maybe too many times to the table asking if we were ok.
I definitely will recommend this restaurant and go again.
Great place!!! Food was outstanding!!! I cant wait to come back and visit!!!
Lobster Thermidor & Filet 4 course meal for Valentine’s Weekend. Wow
There was absolutely zero complaints, and I usually find something annoying about service. The waitress didn’t reach over our plates and drinks. The silverware, dishes, and glasses were clean.
Junipers obviously takes pride in their professionalism. My wife and I are from out of state and hate that we may never eat here again. This was an outstanding romantic dinner that we happened to find via google.
I was very impressed. The filets were cooked to perfection. The potato/beet soup was amazing. The salad was spot on, and they brought this apple “single bite” appetizer that was unexpected and delicious. I can’t even tell you what it was. The bread was good, siracha butter was unique and provided some pizazz. And finally....the dessert. OMG 3 scoops of ice cream from a local shop, served with a tower of toppings. I was becoming full but just couldn’t let this yummy dessert go to waste.
All portions were perfectly sized with exception to the dessert...it was double portioned. I felt I could not improve this meal in any form.
We have a restaurant back in Lexington called “Tony’s”.... Junipers has joined them on our top dining experiences list. Seriously if I was ever close to Tulsa I would make the drive to eat here again.
My daughters were in town and we wanted them to experience a fantastic meal, excellently prepared, perfectly presented and wrapped in truly professional service ... check! The girls were also blown away with the fancy cocktails ... bonus!!
I attempted to leave a more detailed review, however, Open Table only wants short reviews.
Food completely lack luster. Only a few bites were taking from each plate. Overcooked. Over salted. Flavorless.
Our expectations and hopes were high. Not even close.
The saving grace, our waiter, Steve, was very good. Attentive and not over bearing. Great wine service.
At this point Juniper appears to be one of those restaurants that uses the right words but when it comes to execution they fall completely short! Too bad!!
We have been here many times and the food was excellent again! However, service is not up to par. The last time we visited the service seemed to have gone down and this time it definitely has and was very noticeable, To start with, it took too long for our server to acknowledge us after we were seated. I had to ask twice for a water refill amongst other issues. This is a fine dining restaurant and I just didn’t feel that we were that important, if that makes sense. Thus use to be my favorite restaurant, unfortunately I don’t think I will be back again.
Juniper is always consistent. We love eating here anytime. Be sure to try the green toast and beef strogonanoff!
Delicious! Creative and wonderfully prepared and presented!
Still one of the best restaurants in Tulsa.
Excellent duck and beef tenderloin.
Wine list is short but has great values.
Service is attentive and friendly.
Highly recommend for special occasions.
Wow, what a great experience.
Food was fantastic, especially the cauliflower soup. Thanks for the nice birthday dinner.
Juniper provides a fabulous dining experience. Cocktails, food and staff were wonderful. Looking forward to eating here again.
Dining at Juniper is always a wonderful experience. Service is excellent as well as the food!
Our group thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at junipers. Our entrees were wonderful and the entire table appreciated the input of the wine steward. The servers were attentive to our preconcert time constraints, we ordered our bread pudding in advance and it was a delicious ending to a wonderful meal, made exquisite by the lovely dessert wine paired perfectly .
Amazing as always!!! We love this place. We’ve never had a bad dish!!
Great food and service. Wine was excellent, service was perfect, duck and pork loin was very good. We celebrated Valentine’s Day early as we were both traveling on the 14th. Location was also ideal for us before Elton John concert. Highly recommend this restaurant while in downtown Tulsa.
This is the 4th time I have visited Juniper, but definitely not the best. The cauliflower soup had great flavor, but everything else was mediocre. We ordered 3 desserts after dinner and unfortunately, the dessert was the least favored part of the meal. The bread pudding was very dry and the crepe brûlée was obviously very over cooked. I am unlike to return.
We tried the tasting menu. I cant even begin to tell you how well thought out the pairings of wine and food were. The service was beyond amazing.
Our first time to eat at Junipers and it was an amazing experience. We tried the five course tasting menu and it was excellent. We also ordered the fish and chips and a shrimp appetizer. The fish was delicious and the shrimp was also delicious. Duck was the protein for the five course meal and both my wife and I have come to the conclusion that we are not duck fans. With that being said we ate all of it, it was cooked perfect and was very good we just are not fans of duck. One last thing, the locally made bread with honey butter was out of this world. Highly recommend Juniper to anyone and our female wait person was phenomenal!
We love Juniper for a special experience. The service is outstanding (thank you Steven & Rachel). Chef is creative and the plating is superb. The food is always interesting, with just that twist to make it something you’ve never thought of.
Never disappointed at Juniper!
