    I love that Juniper offers a Non-Alcoholic drink menu and the sparkling Riesling was amazing. My friend enjoyed two sophisticated mixed cocktails recommended by our waitress which she graciously, and whimsically, served him in a more "manly glass". We had the seared duck, the meatballs with grits, and the brussels sprouts as appetizer. Everything was delectable, exquisitely prepared and followed up by our waitress and another gentleman to ensure our satisfaction. Our waitress was exceptional, taking her time to describe the menu and for us both to relax and enjoy our meals. My friend's father owned the building when it Olsen Coffey Architects and he had not been there since the restaurant had opened in the space. His father and mother have now passed, and he was able to enjoy a reminiscent moment in a space that now is so different, yet sophisticated and elegant. We laughed about all the parties we had there through the 80's and 90's, remembering the old layout, the alley way, and all the memories he shared growing up in the footsteps of his father. Thank you for a memorable evening.

    The food was amazing. The waiter was great. The only issue we had was a large group near us was VERY loud- almost yelling even though they were across from one another- oblivious to others around them. However. that is out of the control of the staff. We plan on returning!

    Great evening. Loved the ambiance. Two of us were vegetarian. Cauliflower steak is not to miss! The filet was also a hit! Only miss was the food could have come out warmer. Compensated by the potency of the Jupiter cocktail!

    This being our second time here the food did not disappoint. The combination of flavors in the five course meal was extraordinary and the steak perfectly cooked. Service was great. Our next venture out will have us looking for more comfort as the 2 person tables are far too close. We will continue to recommend this restaurant but will look for more privacy as our next choice as a couple.

    I requested a 4 top but was refused and put near the kitchen in a very small table for two. This was a special anniversary celebration and I had requested a better table when I made the reservation. The male host had serious attitude and refused my request. There were several couples at 4 top tables while I dined there. Will not return.

    I went to Juniper as a birthday treat for myself. I knew ahead of time I wanted the tasting Menu with wine pairings. I was blown away at how good the wine pairings were with each course. Whomever is planning the tasting Menu needs a raise. The staff was amazing, the portions were just right and I don't think I have ever had such a well thought out paring menu like this before.

    Overall we had a great experience Juniper. We both ordered the 5 course tasting menu with the paired wine. Pros: Decorum was nice Service was good The salad was excellent The wine pairings really worked well with the courses Cons: Risotto wasn't cooked evenly We couldn't understand our server The wine pairing for the next course was often delivered well ahead of the food. This initially felt like we were being rushed as it arrived while we were 1/2 way through the current course and wine. Neutral but notable: The wine was served by the 1/2 glass (this may be different than normal pours) The restaurant was louder than I expected (potentially due to being seated near the kitchen and a relatively loud 4 top) The salad and risotto were unique flavor combinations to me. The other 3 courses while being very good were much less interesting.

    Despite the nice setting and chef's reputation, the Halibut was overcooked and dry. The wine pours were smaller than what was suggested. Other than that, all was good.

    The whipped goat cheese appetizer was amazing. My wife's entree, the chicken roulade & butternut risotto was really, really good, but my entree was awful. I had the seared duck breast, and the duck itself was simply inedible. The accouterments were really good, to be fair. Also, the crust on the crème brulée was too thick and the burnt taste of it overwhelmed the otherwise delicious custard and fruit that lied beneath. Now all that being said, the staff were beyond professional and courteous. They were very apologetic to the complaints that I had and did their absolute best to make everything right and make sure I was happy. Although I wasn't satisfied with the duck and crème brulée crust, I would still 100% recommend Juniper to anyone celebrating an important date or occasion.

    Food was excellent, well prepared, and tasted great. We were confused as to who our waiter was, it seemed we had one of the bartenders, so they were often busy making drinks. Our biggest complaint was that it was very cold in the restaurant. We all had to go get our jackets to wear during dinner.

    Busy night and kitchen was behind. Then they burned our meal and had to start over. Waited more than hour for main course. They gave us a 50% discount on the main courses but the food was overpriced and pretty average anyway. Not a great experience.

    We dined here a second time and it was VASTLY different than our first time. This go around, the waitress forgot our drink order, so we sat around for 30 mins with just our waters and bland appetizers. Then, when I got my beef stroganoff, it was the SALTIEST beef I’ve ever eaten. I switched plates with my husband and he said the same thing. His halibut was decent, but there was no wow factor for the price. Our total came out to around $125, so when my husband gave $200 dollar bills he should’ve received $75 back, but the waitress only brought $6 back? She did comp our 2 drinks and bring back the right change, but there was so much waiting around and the food was disappointing. We won’t be returning.

    Juniper was a solid Tulsa dining choice. Overall, food was of high quality and well prepared. Highly recommend the carrot soup. The trout entree combines too many competing flavors from the brussels to the gnocchi in some sort of cream sauce to the butternut squash puree, which seemed to clash with rest of the plate. Pork tenderloin received good reviews. Herbed potatoes are basically roasted wedges.

    Juniper had fantastic food and service. The atmosphere was elegant and food as fresh as it I was farm to table. Our group started with: -corn chowder -pork belly and scallops -roasted brussel sprouts -whipped goat cheese -smoked trout dip Our entrees: -Beef Stroganoff -Trout -meatballs and grits -filet mignon -seared duck breast With a wine called Barbarasca Everything was fantastic! This is a MUST try when you are in Tulsa.

    Juniper NEVER disappoints and is worth every penny. We both did the tasting menu and our tastebuds were treated to the freshest of tastes. We celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary there…we have gone to Juniper all 8 years we have lived in Tulsa. A streak we will not end on purpose.

    I had dinner with two collogues. None of us had been before and all were very pleased with the entire experience. We each commented on liking the light open and airy feeling of the place.
