Step away from the downtown bustle to experience Juniper, Greenville's only urban gin bar, located on the rooftop of the AC Hotel. From the moment you step into Juniper you will be captivated by the immersive rooftop garden and the stunning views of Main Street and the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Juniper Experience Guide:

-The main kitchen closes at 9:45 pm daily for the full menu during the week. Fridays and Saturdays we offer a Late-Night Menu from 10 pm to 10:45pm.

- ATTIRE: We encourage SMART CASUAL dress at Juniper. We request that guests avoid beach wear, active/athletic attire, baseball caps and work uniforms except for government, law enforcement, healthcare or military. Men should avoid sleeveless/tank tops.

-Underage guests must be accompanied by an adult 21 or older.

-20% gratuity will be added to parties of 8 or more.

Great atmosphere! Service could have been better, I had to find my waitress several times for things we needed. The brunch was good overall but we didnt think two items tasted that good. Everything else tasted great. In fairness, others may have liked them.

My first visit to Juniper, which was weeks ago, everything was wonderful. So it was good, service was OK. However, this time was the worst. The shrimp and grits was like shrimp floating and water, because the grits were much too soupy. The dessert selection was poor and distasteful. The salad bar was skimpy, and not will stocked. The short ribs were more like tough roast beef. The eggs were cold and skimpy. The staff was not keeping the food fresh and Full on the serving table. And management assembled the dining room, where tables were sitting in the walkway on a path to the food, which was very unsanitary for anyone sitting there with people surrounding them talking and coughing in the line. So maybe it was because it was close to a holiday that made this a very bad experience. But to make matters worse, I was double charged on my bill. Needless to say, I will not be bringing a group back there again.

We did the Sunday brunch buffet. The ambience was absolutely beautiful. Our server was very sweet but it did take some time to get our drinks. As for the food, the line went pretty fast. The plates were pretty small so you did have to get up several times to get different things. The variety of food wasn’t bad. They had great desserts. I would definitely go there again. I would love to try lunch or dinner sometime.

The food and drinks were great but the service was bad. Our waiter never showed up to our table. So another waiter filled in. We waited for 30 minutes just to receive water. She hardly came to us. When we asked for the check she left for at least 30 minutes.

Went for brunch and everything was barely warm. Potatoes were not cooked properly, one of my desserts I chose still had the white paper bottom on it from possible packaging? Figured for the price, the dessert would be hand made.

After reading all the positive reviews for Juniper’s brunch buffet, we were thrilled to check it out. This was our first time here and we really had our hopes up. Unfortunately, I highly doubt we will be returning again. The building is beautiful, but the food was comparable to a cafeteria. The grits were completely unseasoned and not creamy at all. They offered bagels and smoked salmon, but only had strawberry cream cheese. When we requested regular cream cheese from the waitress, she informed us that they didn’t offer it. There was no chicken for the waffles and the biscuits were rock solid on the outside. The building was not busy at all, so it was pretty strange every time we both sat for so long with empty glasses. We really aren’t tough critics at all, but we’re surprised at how underwhelming everything was. If you’re looking for a good brunch, I personally do not recommend Juniper.

Overall good experience with friends! One thing that was disappointing for the girls that got steak was that it was not cooked to their order of medium. The server shined her phone flashlight on the steak and said ‘yes it is’ and that was that. However, it was NOT medium. Medium is red. Lots of red. I know because I won’t eat medium. This was light pink in the center. I would have eaten it. My friends didn’t want to make a big deal because it was our nurses Friendsgiving but that was poorly done on the servers part.

Food was not seasoned well and overpriced. I was unsure if my mashed potatoes with my steak were actually potatoes. They had a weird texture. The best part of the entire meal was my boyfriend’s cornbread. It was my birthday (that we put on the reservation) and no one even mentioned it. Water glasses were empty most of the time. Hostesses took a few minutes to decide where we were going to sit after we were told to follow them and then one just started walking and we weren’t instructed to follow but were meant to. We were seated in a two top half table half booth on the corner and an employee stood on that corner the majority of our meal, we felt like we didn’t have any privacy. I will not return.

Our first waitress, the service was mediocre. We later found out she had a family emergency so we were understanding about the situation. The replacement waitress the service improved. At the time of getting the check one individual at our table thought the 20% gratuity was steep for the experience. The waitress got slightly confrontational when we requested for the gratuity to be removed from that individuals check. The individual still wanted to tip, just not at that amount. We were told the policy was at 8 guests, gratuity is added. We had 6 at our table. It was disputed that the reservation was for 9 guests. The change was made to the reservation by restaurant staff and not at my request. Overall the brunch was a good time, but the exchange at the end was completely unnecessary.

They don't have a wide variety of food. For the price, the taste doesn't match. The portions are small & it has no flavor. I've had the salmon, tacos & brussel sprouts. However the waitress said they're updating the menu this week. Hopefully it'll be better than the current. I'd recommend eating before going, get drinks there and enjoy the view. It's a nice place to enjoy the city view & take pictures.

Drinks, decor, vibes, and our desserts were great as usual. We came in with a group of 7 and were seated quickly. Our service, however was terrible. We waited over 20 minutes to order drinks and after they came out we only saw our server when we went looking for her. She did not refill waters, ask if wanted another round of drinks, or bring out the desserts we ordered for the table. We had to go looking for her or another server 3 times to get any service. Our server's name was Cassandra. I've been to Juniper numerous times and have always had amazing service.

Very pretty place, with tons of drinks to choose from. Not many food options but the food was good. I would recommend trying the Brussels sprouts! The music, lights and decorations were my favorite, a fun place for out of towners.

Went to Juniper for our anniversary dinner and it was amazing! The decor is gorgeous, the drinks yummy, and the food just delicious! Service was great as well and we enjoyed seeing everyone get into the Halloween spirit with their costumes. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Our server was incredible. She went above and beyond to make my brother-in-law's dad an Irish coffee. The food and drinks were great and the space felt really special.

I went for the first time on Sunday for my birthday. The brunch was delicious. The never ending mimosas were fun. The waitress was such a sweet girl and so helpful. The building is STUNNING. I could’ve sat in there and relaxed all day. I will definitely be back!

Shareables were great especially the brussels, yuca fries and cauliflower! The wine selection was OK, we didn't love our choices, but it seems they are known for cocktails -- which we didn't try. I had the steak and it was very tasty. My hubby got the lamb sliders and it was too spicy, and it was supposed to come with sweet potato fries but, they didn't advertise that they were out of that. Ambience is definetly a vibe -- dance music, lots of instagram worthy moments. The best part of the location is the views of the city of Greenville. Note: This place is $$$, but if you are looking for a cocktail, fun vibe and to share some bites while having insane views of the city, then this could be your place.

I absolutely love the location and decor of this restaurant. That’s about all I can say that’s positive. My margarita was 3/4 ice. Our appetizer was cold and was not cleared until after our entrees arrived. My husband served his steak without a steak knife and on an appetizer that was way overcrowded. My scallops were ok but cold. Then we waited 30 minutes for our dessert that was honestly one of the worst I have ever had at a restaurant. The cake was so dry we were having trouble swallowing it. $140 for this dinner was very disappointing. My husband did LOVE his old fashioned…
