Incredible experience. Four of us walked into this nice but fairly standard looking restaurant. Sat down, took a look at the menu and realized we could have ordered a great many things. After a recommendation from the executive chef, we settled on the paella, shrimp casserole, mushroom appetizer, pan con tomate, and meat & cheese charcuterie plate. And a couple of glasses of the red sangria. It was one of the most delicious meals we’ve had recently. The paella and shrimp were particularly, off-the-charts wonderful. We’ll definitely go back!

We had great expectations for this little Tapas spot after seeing good reviews and it did not meet them. We were seated immediately and our server who ended up being the manager was standard in greeting but not welcoming. After ordering, we were brought our drinks of Red and White sangria, both of which were watered down. We ordered the fiery shrimp which were decent. Shrimp cooked well, lots of sauce nothing for dipping to enjoy it. The oxtails were delicious, well executed and flavorful and sizable. No issue there. The shareable items of the hanger steak and paella is where our dinner service went down hill. The hanger steak was over cooked and tough. When bringing it to the attention of the manager, he informed us when asked that medium is the automatic cooking level. The hanger steak was well done or worse. He apologized and removed it from the bill. Once our paella came out, we ran into the same issue, the execution was poor. The rice was hard and looked as much which meant it was under cooked. It was crunchy and not fluffy or flavorful. When bringing this to the manager’s attention, there was irritation stating “There’s nothing wrong with it. I cant Keep taking things off your bill.” In turn we decided to leave the situation be because we didn’t want our night to be ruined any further. We asked for the bill, the manager kept trying to go toe to toe with us. We calmly requested the bill. Paid for our unfinished meal and left. The kitchen staff and the manager decided to converse about us, myself noticing when one of the kitchen staff peeked out the window of the kitchen door directly into my face where we were seated, the manager at the front conversing in Spanish with them as though we are unable to understand other languages than English. Poor experience for a first time visitor to the city and restaurant. We will not patron this establishment again when visiting Paso Robles.

Great place to have some delicious Spanish tapas and wine... and yes they also have Paso wines of course. The tortilla was amazing and I will come back for the octopus as well.

we had an early reservation and the restaurant was empty we were seated next to the front door. we asked to be moved and ended up in a much better area. The white wine was warm and the chicken thigh was undercooked and bloody. I showed it to the server and she did not seem to care.

The food was nothing special; it lacked flavor. The rice in the paella was not cooked correctly. They made us wait between the dishes, and the waitress forgot the order and sent us the wrong items. Save your money and time and choose a different place.

It was like stepping back into Spain! We had a wonderful experience with our family Friday night and even my 7 and 10 yr old grandkids loved the food. They were accommodating, friendly and attentive while we were there. We will definitely be back.

I am torn on the review here as I always want the smaller businesses to succeed however after dining at 2 other Tapas places in wine country locations, this was not up to the others. It's a fairly small place, tables close together which made it difficult for our party of 4 to have conversation without raising our voices. Service, in my opinion there were not enough staff there. Things were slow. It was a Saturday evening. Food, some things were really good some things were just average thus the 4 star review (cannot do 1/2 on the scores). Peppers, very good. Potaotes very good. Empanadas good, Paella for us was somewhat bland, not close to outstanding which we were hoping for. Value was good, not really overpriced. Good luck to them, we visit Paso annually would probably not return.

Upon check in, hostess gave a preferred table to walk in s us with reservation and sat us at a high top which was uncomfortable and wobbly.She was told it was our anniversary and nothing was done. Waitress was terrible, had to ask repeatedly for her to come over for service, water and food course. Worst experience we had in Paso and on our anniversary.

A hidden gem and well worth the extra 5 minute walk from the park! The food was outstanding and one of the best tapas menus experienced. The interior is decorated very well with some great pieces of art. Highly recommend!

Small and cute restaurant on an unassuming location. The restaurant accommodated our large party of 11 with great ease and efficiency. We sipped a very delicious Sangria and the tapas were outstanding! We ordered patatas bravas, tortilla espanola, pan con tomate, empanadas (yummy!!), drunken shrimp, champinones al ajillo (mushroom). We also had paella, and although it may have needed a bit more salt, it was very well made. Had the most delightful time and highly recommend it.

We loved this restaurant. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. The owner and his wife are so hospitable and made us feel so welcome. They served us delicious nuts and an aperitif in the living room while they prepared a lovely outside table in the back patio for us. We will be returning to this wonderful gem of a restaurant to enjoy more fabulous food.

Food is diverse and delicious - something for everyone! Totally enjoyed our meal, and the owners are so fun and engaging - ask about the food and its preparation or history and they are happy to fill you in. We took family from out of town and they loved it too!

Wonderful evening at the Junction. Tapas were cooked to perfection. Never rushed, we ate and drank cava for a couple of hours. Nick (the owner) came by to make sure everything was what we were expecting. A definite place to go back to again and again.

Made a reservation for 630, they sat us down at our table, which was nice. Host came by and asked if we’d like to order anything, we ordered two glasses of cava. We also asked for the small bread pizza with meats to start. She came back with our cava. One of the waiters brought the pizza. We waited , and waited at least 20 minutes before some one to take or order for completion of the dinner. We ordered the shrimp, temenadas, and meatballs. The shrimp were under cooked, but edible, the meatballs tasted stale, the temenadas were fabulous!!. Sat and waited for someone to bring my bill, the waiter came by, said he would get it. Never came back with the bill. I had to get up go to the bar and wait for someone to see me …finally they did. Edwena Just

We had the jambon flatbread to start and it was super! We would have ordered a second one but our paella arrived within minutes of finishing our flatbread. The paella was delicious and enough for 2 hungry adults.
