My wife is Thai and we are visiting from Sydney. We had a 6.00pm Friday dinner and it was superb. We both loved the ambiance and the food was fresh, high quality and delicious. We tried three stir fry dishes and they were all great. The restaurant did get busy quickly, but the staff remained attentive. The price is right for the value. Will come again next time we are in Brisbane.

The food is delicious and fresh, the staff were mainly lovely, a few probably needed to be a bit more friendly to be honest but all in all good. It was quite noisy inside but expected with the high ceilings and floorboards. I really enjoyed it, I'm mainly giving feedback from colleagues. It is very pricey and having been to some similar type places I'm not sure that the prices are value for money but the food is VERY good. I'd return as a special occasion place but not really your everyday restaurant but I'm sure that's part of the appeal. Some non-alcoholic drinks like Kombucha would have been good, not everyone like mineral water and soft drinks if not drinking alcohol. Overall great though :) I'd definitely go back.

Visiting from New Zealand, we were recommended this restaurant for dinner. It certainly didn't disappoint. Was busy for a Monday night, but the staff were super friendly and gave great service, and the food was served really quick. A great experience right from when you walked in the door. The food was AMAZING. Would totally recommend to others.

Went here for a graduation dinner, we booked a table for 6, before booking we already had a look of the menu, the prices on their menu is quite expensive, we booked anyway and expected a good food for its price. We ordered Crispy pork belly and basil, the taste was good but the 6 thin slices of pork isn’t enough for a $36 and we were expecting it was crispy but it wasn’t. We ordered 2 som tum but we were disappointed with the dressing of it, it lacks flavor. The service was a bit a disappointed too, that we have to call their attention for 3 times, the noise from the servers are quite loud, cuttleries and a glass fell on the floor. But the waiting time for the food was good. Overall it wasn’t worth the price.

I went to Jumbo for the first time this week. Tuesday night wasn't very busy, but my friends said it can get very busy so book a table to avoid waiting. The food was delicious. I had duck spring roll, curry puff, satay chicken, pad see-ew and beef brisket Penang curry. All were delicious, standouts were the juicy chicken satay and the fall-apart brisket. The Penang curry had more spice than expected, but still only medium and wasn't too much. Can't wait to go again and try the things we missed out on.

Second time there and not as good as our previous visit which was excellent. This time we had a Banquet which was not as good as ordering individual dishes. Order took a while to come out and then there were too many dishes at once. This lead to some food getting cold. Hopefully better next time.

We had a banquet. The food was very delicious and plenty. The table was too small for all the dishes. The service was speedy and attentive. The restaurant is very popular, reservations are highly recommend.

Have eaten at Jumbo on a few occasions and it is one of my favorite Brisbane CBD dining options. The food is consistently delicious (the soft shell crab Bao buns are unbelievable), the restaurant itself is beautiful with wonderful ambience and its great value. Highly recommended!
