   As Julio’s has been in this location for many years we expected a traditional and authentic experience but were sadly disappointed. It now seems to be attached to the holiday inn and perhaps due to this has a very limited menu and lacklustre service. Only one staff member was welcoming and happy to help us. Will not be returning.

   Booked for Mother’s Day. Set menu incl 4 courses. Arrived at our booking time, unfortunately waited 25 mins for our arrival drink and shares to arrive. The following course took their time to arrive as well and the previous courses dishes weren’t cleared before the next course arrived leaving dirty dishes on our table for a long while. The quality of the food was great however and no one in the party complained about the quality. All meals were delicious. It was noticeably hard to get the attention of the wait staff and given the restaurant was only half full at the time of our booking, this was disappointing. Overall, the price tag on the set menu probably wasn’t worth the wait and service we had. This is disappointing as my wife and I are regular patrons for valentines and birthdays and service has always been amazing! We will probably come back but maybe not as a large group. Again good, rustic, italian food. Very delicious. Service needs some attention if today was anything to go off.

   Booked Julio's for my Wife's Birthday. Had been meaning to go for several years, glad that we did. The serving portions are on the generous side so bring an appetite! . We ate and can recommend the Eggplant Osso Bucco style, the Pappardelle Lamb Ragu and the Gnocchi alla Sorrentina. Atmosphere perfect, not too noisy, artistically renovated century-old building. Attentive, friendly and knowledgeable wait staff, quick food service.

   Food was very good. Service was a bit slow. Not a big menu to choose from. But overall it was enjoyable. Very different to original Julio’s.

   Nice venue, staff were lovely. Food was nice, wine was good. Overall a nice meal out.

   Great steak, be nice to get some steamed veg or salad on the side. Overall great lunch for meetings.

   We had pasta and it had the gluggy consistency of canned spaghetti. Maybe the pizza is good as that seemed to be what most people ate. Service was friendly but unprofessional. No bread available which goes down as the only italian restaurant I have ever been to without bread. Not many patrons, I think its best days are behind it, and needs a big change of direction unfortunately.

   Quiet hotel restaurant. Nice food, generous serves, nice staff. It's in an old house so nice atmosphere. Easy to get booking on Saturday night so good option when your not organised.

    Julio’s has a fantastic offering in terms of cuisine and ambiance, but operational consistency and attention to detail in service need improvement particularly when catering to business clientele who rely on seamless execution. We hope to see these aspects refined, as the potential for an outstanding experience is certainly there.
