Crispy skin salmon was to die for, delicious!! Trout was decent, a little dry. Could've used some kind of sauce. The New York Strip was very tasty but also pretty fatty, my wife couldn't finish it. Great thing is that without any complaining, they removed the steak from our bill. Great customer service. Easy access to parking and walking distance to the theater across the street. Overall wonderful start to a great evening.
Thank you!

Shareable appetizer has two scallops... seared to almost black on one side and so chewy we didn't even eat them.

Husband ordered filet mignon - dry and tasteless.

Our party of 3 was seated at a table for 8. Not very cozy or comfortable. No bread was served. I ordered a NY strip that could not be cut by a steak knife. They returned it and I ordered a filet that came after my entire party was done eating. They sat and watched me eat my meal which was a very good well prepared steak. But it did not improve the evening.

It was my birthday. But the only dessert they had was Key Lime Pie. Not very festival!!!!

I will never visit this place again. We had a miserable evening!!!!

Although the new manager is working hard to correct things, he has an uphill battle ahead.

The kitchen was backed up 40 minutes when we sat down at 7:30. We were told that and were perfectly OK with it. But it took over 15 minutes for a server to come to our table and only after I told the hostess that we didn't even have water.

We immediately put in our order due to the kitchen challenges and ordered wine which the server forgot we had ordered. Another 15 minutes or so later another server delivered it.

My wife's steak was at least 40% fat and not edible. The lobster was dry as if it had been sitting out for some time.

The good news is that the manager knew he had challenges and was working to fix them. Labor shortages haven't helped him. I'm going to recommend Juliette's, but give it some time. This won't be fixed anytime soon.

We were seated near the kitchen, observed how disorganized everything was. Waited 45 minutes and the main course was delivered before the salad. When the desert finally came it was not what we ordered but they did correct that. Very pricey for what we got. Very disappointed.

Our visit was on a Sunday evening before a performance at Times Union. We were apprehensive after reading some negative reviews. I am pleased to say we had a nice experience with good service and delicious food. We finished in plenty of time to enjoy a cup of coffee before the performance.

We were looking forward to shrimp and grits. But it was not on the menu. We dined here before a show at the Times Union. There was a limited menu and wine list. The bottle of wine we tried was good. Not great. We ordered crispy skin salmon with risotto, and it was very good. They didn't open til 5:30, but the receptionist I talked to took our reservation at 5. It was ok because we had some catching up to do. They seated us a 5 and brought us water and a bottle of wine while we waited.

Made reservations for dinner at 6 PM to be able to go to a show across the street at 7:30. We got there at 6:00 and we’re not seated until almost 6:10 PM. Sat there for 15 minutes - no one came to take our orders. I found the “host” who seated us and he took our orders and said he would expedite them. At 7:10, we still had not received our food. Since they had not bother to bring us anything except water, we got up and walked out. I did stop at the hostess/host desk and told them what horrible service we had. There was no ‘we’re sorry’ or ‘how can we make this right’ - just a shocked look on her face. If you were ever going to anything at the Times Union Center for the Performing Arts, do not go to Juliette‘s before the show unless you plan on being there about three hours!

Reservation was for 5:45, we sat at the table for over an hour before a drink or food order was taken at almost 7pm. Food came out cold and we had to rush to eat to make a show at 7:30 which we made a point to mention more than once while waiting over an hour for service. Every table around us was sat after us and had their food before we even ordered. Some tables had already finished eating and left before we ordered. Anytime we tried talking to someone we were told “we are doing the best we can, there were a lot of reservations for the same time”. This would be okay, except that no other table around us seemed to deal with the lack of service that ours did. Nobody was apologetic

With the change in menu, I missed several past dinner options like a classic Caesar salad made with romaine lettuce, various flatbreads, the signature corn chowder with crab soup, beef fillet with baked potato (I think that’s right).
Before Covid, my friends and I often ate dinner at the Omni before or after symphony concerts. I not sure I’ll return.

Respectfully,
Paula Boyd

We were very disappointed. Our first waiter had very little knowledge of the menu. Even though our reservation was early, because we were heading to Jax Symphony, his shirt was soiled and spotted by 5:45 PM. We watched him deliver a dish of food to the table next to us and pick up an item that had slid off the plate with his bare hand and put it back on the plate. My husband and our friend both had the pecan crusted trout. Even tho we live in an area with fresh, wonderful seafood, their dish was dry and flavorless, certainly not fresh. I had the eggplant appetizer. The eggplant was deep fried, but flavorful. HOWEVER, it was not even warm. So, I sent it back and immediately got a new dish. Unfortunately, it too was only slightly warm. Deep fried food should be hot. Our other friend ordered her burger medium rare and it was well done. The only item that was delicious was my seafood soup. We ordered a piece of key lime pie to split, but eventually cancelled it, because it took so long and we needed to get to the concert. Finally, our checks were not correct, and that added more to our time crunch. We have always felt this was a great location when heading to the Times Union Center, but we will not return.

We went there for brunch before a Sunday afternoon play and they were totally disorganized - like they were not expecting people. Everyone was seated and after 30 minutes, only some people got water. A lot of us walked out and notice later that they had closed the restaurant.

We have been going to Juliets off an on for years, due to its proximity to the Times Union plays, concerts, & events. It’s has had its ups & downs, but pre-Covid, it had finally become a well run restaurant with a tasty menu. Post Covid...it’s back in the doldrums.

There were only a boy 8 tables with maybe 20 people eating, when we ordered. The menu is VERY limited. Basic food, at best. I only ordered a salad & the Key Lime pie. It took Forever to get the food. We were there an hour & a half before the concert start time across the street & I never received my dessert before having to leave for to make the concert opening. They only managed to get me my salad in time. How long can it take to make a salad & cut a slice of pie?!

The positive things I want to mention was that our server was very friendly and gracious. As we were leaving, she went to the kitchen & got my pie slice to go. I told her I had them take it off the bill, since I never received it, but she insisted.

“Juliets, Juliets...my dear Juliets! You have a beautiful venue & a location many a business would envy, yet you squander your good fortunes. Spend the money & hire a manager that insists on excellent quality in both food, flavor, & service. Oh what a restaurant you could be!” 🍷🍽

Good afternoon, thank you so much for taking the time to submit your feedback. I apologize for your experience, as you stated it is not the service you expect when dining in Juliette's. We are currently working to hire more staff in both the front and back of the house to accommodate the extreme growth in business we are now seeing consistently, which will also allow us to expand our current limited menus. Thank you for your continued business, Jessica Lowstetter, Director of Outlets

Intending to have a pre-concert supper before attending the JAX Symphony performance, which was cancelled minutes before our arrival at the restaurant, we decided to stay and dine anyway. The hotel lobby area housing the bar and restaurant was nearly empty (most likely due to the Covid effect), but the staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. The menu was quite limited, but our choices were well prepared and presented and quite tasty.

Although there was a limited menu because of the pandemic, good selections were still available. The food was prepared perfectly. My steak was cooked perfectly, tender, with a nice sauce, as was my wife's salmon. The sides were good as well, and the presentation was nice. The service was good at first, but, with the reduced staff, at the end of the meal, our waiter was nowhere to be found. Very few diners, but even with more people, I suspect the noise level in the atrium would be very tolerable. One additional point, because some of the diners were attending the symphony next door (we weren't), the server made sure to ask us if we needed to be finished in time. Very considerate.

We were going to the Jax Symphony Pops concert, so time was important. The doors facing the parking lot were all locked. The main entrance was open, I was able to open the door near the parking lot and let the rest of my party in. Fortunately we were 10 minutes early. Once in the staff took good care of us, the food was great! And we made the performance with time to spare.

Usually we enjoy dinner at Juliette’s. This time, the food was mediocre and the service was slow and confused. First, the waiter forgot my friend’s salad then he forgot my wine. After prompting, he brought the wrong kind, bringing me something that I did not like or want. After apologies, we were told that the salad and wine would be taken off the bill. I got home and realized that they weren’t. Perhaps because there was a new special or a new cook, but the food was bland-not their usual standards, especially for the cost.
