Zuma Restaurant - Las Vegas
Waiter is not very responsive. Foie gra is the bomb.
The wine by the bottle prices were excessive! The food was good and the service was ok but you kind of feel like you’re in a mall since the restaurant isn’t enclosed. We felt the tapas were authentic so if you’re only looking for authentic Spanish tapas, it’s a place to go. But if you want more than one glass of wine you’re going to pay more for that than your entire meal!
Love this place. Mixta paella is the best artichokes were superb. Wine is pricey suggest a pitcher of the delicious sangria
Service was fine. Can’t wait for the paella taste to finally subside. Definitely not a fan of that one. The only menu items with flavor that we sampled were supposedly “spicy”. Seating was a cluster$&@% with one table’s seats blocking access one direction in an aisle for staff and patrons and then waitstaff allowing a table for two to rearrange/add seats and block the same aisle access for staff/patrons in the other direction. Empty tables elsewhere in the restaurant to boot. Stupid... another “pretty” and overpriced Vegas “experience”.
Our experience left us confused. The tapas portions ranged from way too much to not enough (especially at those prices). Also, our service was very haphazard. It was very noisy and distracting. While I expect some level of tapas comes out when it is ready, we did ask for some things to be brought out first, such as our cheese plate and gazpacho. Of the 10 dishes we ordered, guess which dishes came last ... the ones we asked to have first. Moreover, of those 10 dishes - most were pretty average - only two really wowed me as exceptional (the oxtail and the meatballs); and the wine list is very good.
I was embarrassed because this was a business meal and I had talked up this restaurant to my colleagues.
Overall, a disappointing experience compared to our previous meal here a few years ago. Instead, this time, all I wanted to do was to finish our meal as quickly as possible and get out of there.
The restaurant is so noisy that it is difficult to hear across a small table.
Amazing tapas. Well made food, very filling. They need a better selection of tequila and meszcal.
I loved the small plates. My wife and I sampled 5 different dishes and all the different flavors were wonderful. We especially liked the braised short ribs. Service was great too.
Great Spanish food! Love the paella and the sea bass our waiter recommended! Great service and experience!
Great tapas and small plates: the weight staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the food and selections.
Enjoyed the experience would highly recommend
First a warning. The restaurant is open to the lobby & not far from doors to the street, so I recommend wearing a sweater or jacket to keep warm. It was 35 degrees outside when we dined here.
The décor is quite lovely, with wonderful colors on & off of the table. A visit to the toilet is recommended to see the colorful tiles!
I've been to several tapas restaurants in San Francisco, and each one has it's own version of food & this restaurant was no exception. Food was very good. I liked the cold soup & highly recommend it for a refreshing course. Other courses were good.
One of the things I noticed at 3 restaurants in Las Vegas was that the rice was not cooked as much as it should have been - curious. The same situation here. Rice should be easy for any kitchen to prepare. Because of this I would rate the rice course a 9 instead of a 10.
The staff were cheerful. One of the staff came by the table & offered to take our photo, a nice gesture.
Food is good, portions small, prices high......our waitress was totally inattentive.
Note to mgmt, the server that helped us should not be waiting tables. She was inattentive, disinterested and appeared to hate her job.......promote Juan (helper) he is exactly what customers want! He made our dinner enjoyable, constantly checking on us to make sure everything was going well.
My first time at Julian Serrano Tapas in the Aria Hotel even though I have stayed at the ARIA many times. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised, the small plates were excellent and we had more than enough for 3 people ordering 5 different plates. The ambience was cool and our dinner server was great. Overall, an excellent choice if you are visiting or staying at the hotel.
When dining here - you almost feel like you are part of the hotel lobby - like you are “on display”. We had such a great experience here- service was excellent and food and drinks were great. Will definitely come back when in town!
The restaurant team, including our team of Premo and Lalo, led by manager Jonathan, is passionate about the menu and providing good customer service. Our selections of oxtail, chicken croquettes, artichokes and stuffed dates were all outstanding. We also appreciate the impressive work of the chef and kitchen to design and execute the authentic menu. This is now one of our favorite restaurants anywhere! We are looking forward to trying one of the beautiful paella next time.
Asked the front desk for a nice table where we could people watch. Was put in the back corner of the restaurant. Ended up sitting at the bar
Service was super slow, it took too long to get our food. Overall it's overpriced.
Excellent tapas and service. Expensive but it’s Vegas and the food was amazing.
We’ve been several times, but it’s been a couple of years. Something in the paella wasn’t very fresh. Drinks were very good.
Some of the best tapas we’ve ever had. The service was wonderful as well. You will not be disappointed. The restaurant is open to the lobby area but that didn’t bother us. Will definitely be back.
Great tapas, service and ambiance! I would definitely recommend to my friends.
Food was good but the prices have gone up so much that I don't feel it's worth going there anymore. Like all things Vegas they are pricing themselves out as far as I am concerned! Won't be back again.
Delicious food but beware, when they say the Brava potatoes are spicy they aren’t kidding. A little pricey but reflective of the quality of the food and LV dining.
It was a birthday celebration for our daughters 21st birthday! From start to finish we felt VIP status and loved it!
I want to review this better but compared to previous experiences, I just can’t. The service was good overall, however, despite being welcoming and helpful the timing was off. Dishes came properly at first and then many at once and then none for quite a while, and then we couldn’t find out waitress for about 20 minutes. The food itself is very good but I remember the paella being better and somehow the prices being less and the menu more extensive. One sangria we tried was fantastic (the white), another (the blue) was ok, and the “usual” red was not good at all. The foie gras and steak dish, however, is a standout not to be missed.
Service was not impressive food was decent but some of it came after dessert
The best most innovative food ever!
Service was inattentive but friendly. Food was delicious but I’ve had better tapas in my own hometown.
I have been to Julian Serrano in Las Vegas multiple times, and I would start by saying it never disappounts! In fact, since the last time I was here, they dramatically ramped up the wine list, which is the only aspect I would have criticized in the past. My only criticism this time is that they took their goat cheese stuffed piquillo peppers off of the menu, which was always one of my favorites. Nonetheless, they had plenty of great choices, including a new version of their amazing brava potatoes! This is a must visit restaurant while in Vegas!!!!
Third time at JS. It used to be a good choice but the quality of the plates have declined and doesn't match the prices paid. Too many options in Vegas to go back.
Lively atmosphere, great food & yummy churros! This was our second visit to the restaurant. It was even better the second time.
Honestly I felt uncomfortable...rather “stuffy”atmosphere....and I dislike a menu I have to struggle with (really unsure what your getting until you get it). We have eaten at several tapas restaurants and loved them. The service was great, food was okay....some dishes better than others.....nothing wowed us. We had combo pics: while garlic & special peppers.....lots of mildly pickled whole clove garlic and small “peppercini” like peppers. Not bad just not really what we were expecting. Ensalada mixta.. decent salad with good dressing on side, greens, hard boiled eggs and tuna. Lobster dish...small amount of lobster, nothing special on bed of buckwheat-like noodles. Serrano tender...husband said rather tough on bread w/foe gras. Had the albondigas....meatballs....nothing fancy. Best dish I enjoyed was the gambas...shrimp in mild tomato sauce. Both food and uncomfortable atmosphere will make it a “no”-return.....too many fun, comfortable better food choice restaurants in Vegas....on my opinion.
The food was delicious! Our sommelier was very helpful in explaining the differences in several wines we were interested in. The small plates were unique combinations that were excellent.
The Aria seems like a lovely hostelry for being on the tacky and superficial Las Vegas Strip. Julian Serrano is right off the main lobby. It is a lovely space, with a bright Iberian design. I do wish it was enclosed and not open to the lobby, but that saves money and is integral to a Las Vegas concept. The best thing about JST is the staff. Both Jimmy and Andrea were a joy to converse with, as we ate and drank wine at the bar. We ordered the lunch special, three choices for $29.00. The highlight were the tuna cones, a very fresh and tasty dish. JST was a perfect choice for a very pleasant lunch.
Overall good food and vibe.
Paella was a little too oily.
So yummy! Service was prompt, all of the food was 5/5.
Fantastic meal and great service by Pedro from Madrid. Every single thing was amazing.
The food was delicious. I can’t wait to go back again. I almost went two nights in a row but my feet were tired from standing all day at a trade show. I will be back.
Open for late night meal. Enjoy small plates/tapas option. Gazpacho was very tasty
